Clara Gaster vs. Kayla Mizrahi - Maid To Own

Clara swiftly released Kayla and rolled back up to her feet. She was far from done with the head maid of her archnemesis, especially as she pushed up to her feet to give Clara a rhetorical question... one that Clara was happy to answer in earnest:

"More than anything in the world"

With that sentance, Clara tried to dash forward, twisting and the last moment to ram her leg into the rising Kayla's jaw, trying to kick her in the face with a Superkick!

Stupid, smart-aleck, disrespectful…

Kaylah had been seeing red since this match started, but now it was a bright, blinding color in her eye, as the source of her ire dared speak those flippant words. She wanted this woman broken in half, now, and that drove her forward, arms open, looking to capture Clara and snap her in half.

A path that saw her walking straight into a superkick.

The Iron Maiden jolted upright at the impact and nearly fell clear over. She only caught herself at the last second and stumbled, standing on shaky legs as her vision cleared and she glared at her opponent.

Still standing. Just barely.

With Clara delivering the superkick, she expected Kayla to fall back down... but the maid remained standing. This was something Clara had to respect in her foe - she possessed a lot of willpower. Then again, someone working under Stephanie Renaud had to have a lot of patience, she imagined...

Taking a deep breath, Clara tried to slip behind Kayla, wrapping her arm around the Maid's neck. Once a quick look around the ring proved that no maids remained to oppose her, Clara planned to lift Kayla up into the air, before trying to ram her downwards, straight onto her head, for her finishing Reverse Lifting DDT - Shadow's End!

Kaylah stood. Wobbling, hurting, her vision hazy - but standing. For most maids, that would’ve been an act of preservation, knowing what could await them if they failed their mistress. For her, it was an act of devotion. The Baroness was watching. She had put her in this position because she had faith in her. After all, she knew that her headmaid could get the job done. Losing here would betray that trust, and that thought was anathema.

She wouldn’t fail. She couldn't fail.

As her opponent came in, looking to finish her off, Kaylah steeled herself, preparing for the final move. Clara moved in from behind and seized her by the neck, clearly trying to lift her and spike her skull with what would’ve been an ambitious, damaging move - but it wasn’t happening, not if Kaylah had a single thing to say about it.

As Clara tried to lift her up, the Iron Maid raised her leg, bringing it up in an arc that would drive her knee right into the center of her opponent’s face.

Right as Clara lifted Kayla up into the air, to drill her into the canvas below, to show to the Baroness that no matter who she sent after her, she would persevere…the maid would suddenly drop her knee on top of the Shadow Lord’s head!

”AAAGH!”

Clara immediately dropped Kayla down to the floor, the maid likely landing on her feet, the Brit releasing her as she held the top of her head, stumbling back into the ropes to avoid potential attack from her rival. She growled, trying to shake off the cobwebs. She wasn’t losing to Kayla, not after all the effort it took to get rid off her maids…

Kayla landed after the knee and stumbled a bit, trying to get her foundation back, as she stared a hole straight through Clara. Her patience had worn thin all through this match, but she’d officially reached her breaking point now. That had been far, far too close for her liking, and it was a clear sign that she needed to put this woman down in the most immediate, impactful fashion. No more game, no more distractions. This had to end.

”Enough.”

Looking to bring this to a close, Kayla dashed towards Clara, storming across the ring, shaking the canvas with every step. She waited until the last second, then spun around in a full circle and lashed out, trying to level her opponent with a discus lariat to the face. An inelegant move, but she was far past the point of caring for style. She just wanted this woman on the floor, and she wanted it now.

The amount of times Clara's vision was distorted in a match had to be quite high. She definitely wouldn't be able to count the amount of times her vision saw doubles and triples of the images in front of her, or the amount of times her vision went darker or completely blacked out.

Even though it was hard to see what was coming for you in situations like this, for this particular time, Clara was able to tell where Kayla was coming from. And right as she outstretched her arm, Clara ducked.

But the collision still occurred... just not with her...

"GYAAAAAH!"

The ref got too close behind Clara, worried something might have happened to the Shadow Lord... only for her reward to be an attack intended for her. The ref laid on the floor, her own vision now going much darker from Kayla's vicious Lariat!

Kayla felt the impact. Felt it reverberate through her arm. She heard the smack of flesh against flesh, the cry that echoed through the arena, and the heavy crash of a body falling to the canvas. It was an incredible sensation, and she was eager to see the fruit of her labor. She spun about, looked down, and saw…

The referee. She’d hit the stupid referee. ”Ugh.”

She hissed at the development, but perhaps it could serve as a positive - with the referee indisposed, it opened up certain opportunities for her colleagues to involve themselves and bring this match to its rightful conclusion.

Apparently, she wasn’t the only one who realized this, too - as she turned back to Clara, she could already see one of the few maids who hadn't been taken out earlier coming up to her opponent from behind, trying to slip in behind her and catch her with a full nelson.

Clara avoided the hit... but still heard a scream! As her head cleared, she snapped her head to look behind her, gasping as she saw the ref laid out by the attack intended for her! The crowd jeered this development, as even Clara realized what this development meant.

With the ref out, Kayla was now open to more rule breaking tactics... and specific women outside of the ring realized that now was their chance.

As Clara rose, the "lumbermaids" entered the ring, one of them catching the Shadow Lord from behind!

"AAAAAH! LET ME GO!", Clara struggled in Full Nelson hold, her arms trapped, and her neck compressed, as she tried to stomp on the maid's leg, trying to break the hold!

The problem was, however, that there were more maids about, with Kayla about to help them beat Clara down...but fortunately for Clara, someone helpful just hopped over the barricade. The crowd's cheers would let both competitors know that someone unexpected was about to join the brawl!

Finally. No more games, no more delay, no more distractions. While this wasn’t quite the way Kaylah had planned on things going, she was ready to fully embrace it now as her subordinates joined in to take advantage of the situation. The crowd hated it, but that was of little consequence. This wasn’t about pleasing them, not in the least - this was about sending a message.

”Hold her still.” Kaylay rubbed her neck as the other maids made their way, closing in on Clara and cutting off her escape route. When she started putting up a reel fight, they moved and started through punches to her stomach, trying to wear her out - none of them were particularly strong, but with numbers on their side, that hardly mattered.

Everything was going swimmingly, save for one curiosity - what was the audience getting excited about? Confused, Kaylah turned away from the massacre and tried to center on the source. It felt like something was coming…
