Clara Gaster vs. Kayla Mizrahi - Maid To Own

Clara tried to shut off the support Kayla had from her maids. To Clara, all she saw were people who have been tormenting her and her friends throughout the last several months, with her accepting this hopeless battle as a way to try and get back at them for everything…

Clara wouldn’t let the dazed Head Maid recover easily. Quite the opposite as she quickly tried to step towards the woman. Her attention was fully on Kayla’s left arm as she tried to viciously step on it! From there, she would quickly try to grab the limb, falling to her back…before trying to hyper-extend it, going for one of the trusted moves in her arsenal - a Cross Armbar!

Kayla was pushing her way up in a hurry, knowing that her moment of respite would, in all likelihood, but a brief one. This was the first real opening Clara had all match, after all, and if the situations were reversed, she would be taking full advantage of. The good news was that she still had a deep well of stamina to work with, having not sustained serious damage yet in this match…but that could change with ease.

As if to emphasize that point, Clara came in a second later and drove her boot down hard on Kayla’s right arm, nailing her to the canvas. The Iron Maid cried out in pure anguish and tried to squirm away, but her efforts were cut short as her opponent whipped around and brought her to the canvas with an - admittedly deft - cross armbar, stretching her out in brutal fashion.

It was Kayla’s turn to struggle now, as her opponent poured on the torturous pressure, threatening to separate limb from body. All she could do for the moment was grit her teeth and try to shuffle along the mat, attempting to pull them closer to the ropes.

Clara desperately worked Kayla's arm over. She knew that the moment the Head Maid was out of the hold, it would only be a matter of time till Kayla threw her back to her wolves outside the ring. She knew Kayla wouldn't tap out quite yet (Baroness's employ likely demanded an iron will), but weakening her arm would go a long way to helping Clara in this match...

As such, as she noticed Kayla making her way towards the ropes, the Brit would ram her leg into the maid's chest, trying to make the journey to the ropes as painful as possible!

No, Clara wasn’t about to make Kayla tap out like this. Losing while under the Baroness’ employ was unthinkable by itself, but even beyond that, there was the pride that came from being a soldier, from being trained to endure hardship far beyond what she might encounter in the ring. She had been raised and bred to resist torture on the highest level, so there was no way she would tap out to such a basic hold, not when so much was on the line.

But that wasn’t to say such a move couldn't serve a purpose - despite Kayla’s nickname, she wasn’t truly made of iron. Her body could and would break if given enough pressure, and she was coming closer to that limit than she would ever like to admit.

So it was a relief when her fingers finally grasped the bottom, just as she was starting to reach her limits. The referee seemed hesitant, but her better instincts won out after a moment and she did her job. ”Rope break!”

Clara kept going at the hold. She made it her reputation to viciously keep her holds in no matter what, until her foes had to employ a rope break to escape...or tap out. And for people she disliked, the Shadow Lord could be even more vicious...

Once Kayla grabbed the rope, the ref, slightly hesitant, would call for a release...but Clara didn't let go just yet.

"Damnit...One!", the ref would say, understanding why Clara kept the hold in...but not approving of it. The count quickly went up to four, and only then did Clara release the hold, stepping away from Kayla...and from the edge of the ring. The maids on the outside were very much not happy about Clara keeping the hold in to a 4 count...

Kayla gripped the ropes tight and shook them hard, expecting the relief to come immediately after - a notion that her foe was quick to dispel,

”Two! Three! Four!”

She gritted her teeth and groaned as she dealt with the pain, toughing it out until the last second. The moment Clara let go of the hold, she pulled her way out under the bottom rope and made her way to the outside of the ring, seeking safe haven. The other maids moved around her, helped her back up, and gave a shield as she tried to catch her breath.

With Clara releasing Kayla, the maid would take sanctuary outside of the ring, maids swarming over her like ants protecting their queen…

…this wasn’t good enough for Clara.

The idea was very risky, but she couldn’t afford Kayla recovering at ringside. She swiftly climbed the top rope, a rare sight for the Brit, but one that was absolutely necessary for a powerful attack on her rival. Even the ref would be shocked as Clara quickly measured the distance towards Kayla…and jumped off, trying to take out Kayla, as well as the maids protecting her, with a Splash off the top to the ringside!

As irritating as it was to admit, Kaylah direly needed the breather, and eagerly accepted her fellow maids giving her a shield. One of them even fanned her with her apron. Truth told, stamina never was one of her strongest suits, and Clara was beginning to push her limits, with the woman showing far more fortitude than she had expected. She was, in many ways, like a cockroach - vile, nauseating, and impossible to kill.

”I’m fine, I’m fine.” Kaylah took a deep breath, cleared her throat and stood straight. ”Now, just allow me to get back in the ring and-”

”Look out!”

One of the maid’s behind her shrieked, and Kaylah looked up just in time to see Clara flying through the air. She might not have been a large woman, but she came with no small amount of momentum, and she slammed into the group like a bowling ball to pins. Kaylah and the others were all knocked down flat on their backs, aching and groaning as they took the full impact.

Except for one, short maid who’d been in the back and out of harm’s way. With her compatriots scattered, she looked at the rising Clara and waved her arms about in a panic. ”Guah! Don’t hit me, don’t hit me!”

Clara rarely took to the skies like this. High risk manuevers also carried a risk of long term ill effects, particularly to one’s spine and neck. Clara wanted to stay in wrestling as long as she could, and as such, it was a rare sight indeed to see the Shadow Lord soar through the air…

So the crowd were treated to a truly rare sight as Clara soared through the air, strategy dictating that she simply couldn’t let her rival catch her breath! She would successfully manage to take out all but one cowardly maid who stepped out of the way!

Clara stood up, gritting her teeth to try and grab at Kayla to get her back into the ring. It would take a bit of time and effort, but she would somewhat get to at least force her rival to reenter the ring…assuming no maid would either awake or be brave enough to attack Clara…

With the field temporarily cleared, Kaylah was easy picking for Clara. The only one who even came close to standing in her was a lucky maid who’d been spared the assault, and no, she wasn’t about to push her luck by getting in the wrestler’s face. Instead, she focused her efforts on helping her compatriots back up, trying to rouse them before this match could get even more out of hand.

Kaylah, meanwhile, had her own problems as Clara was firmly on the warpath. She knew that distance needed to be made in order for her to survive, but making that happen was another matter entirely.

She was rolled into the ring and kept rolling, tumbling towards the center before she began to push her way back up on aching legs. Despite being a little out of it, she tried to get up as fast as she could, knowing she had to be ready for whatever her opponent was coming at her with next.
