Hardcore Green meets Softcore Queen!

Melody first couple of months in LAW were certainly ones she would describe as...eventful. On the plus, she had made friends with a lot of great friends with great wrestlers, like Yamato or Yukiko, she got to be part of the first major tournaments of the company...

...but it was hard to deny negatives outweighed the positives. She had lost in some way in all said tourneys, lost in her attempt to get into the Middleweight tourney, she was still losing a lot of her matches, oftenly by unfair means...

...and of course, the piranha deathmatch she would have hard time forgetting anytime soon, especially with her legs still feeling like they were bitten by the bastard fish.

To try to get her career back on track, Melody took to visiting LAW arena during all live episodes of LAW, even the ones she had no matches on. Plenty of wrestlers did open challanges for various reasons, like arrogance or simply wanting to find the first opponent for their debut. Today was one of those days, as she sat backstage, looking at the TV monitor, hoping someone would come out to issue one of the open challanges today, all the while looking at the entranceway to the lockers, to see if there was anyone she recognized...

Harley hadn't been in the LAW for too long and she was already getting somewhat lost in the large backstage area. Arriving a little bit late to the party the lightweight was just looking around in hopes to memorize where the facilities she'd likely need to use at some point were, plus she had some requests to make to her bookers.

Harley would then visit the locker rooms to see if she could find anyone she recognized, after all she knew Tsukasa had shown up in LAW around the same time as her and there was no doubt she might found other familiar faces if she put enough effort into her search.

Then as expected Harley would notice someone she knew, making eye contact with Melody and waving at the woman. The softcore princess mindlessly heading towards Melody with a smile, genuinely happy to see her now that all their misunderstandings had been cleared up.

"Hey green! Fancy meeting you here." Harley would say as she approached Melody, stopping just in front of her and then immediately continuing with a question, Harleys whole train of thought being verbalised towards Melody. " Why are you sitting around here?"

Briefly taking her eyes off the monitor, Melody would glance towards the hallway, going wide-eyed in surprise, as she saw a familiar, raven-haired, small, yet well-endowed adorable girl - Harley Jackson, still remembering her match with her despite it not getting the proper ending:

"Hello Harley, fancy meeting you here! Did you sign up with LAW?", Melody ask with a large, earnest smile. Even though Melody was surprised to see Harley here, she really shouldn't have been, since LAW was similar in a lot of aspects to AFW, especially the ones that would prove Harley's moniker as the Softcore Princess. She was only shocked because she didn't see neither news of Harley's sign up, nor her profile on LAW's website (which, admitedly, she didn't check out either in quite a while).

"Oh, I'm just checking whether there is a possible place for me on today's card somewhere. You never know when someone might drop out of a match, or declare an open challange. I really need to build a lot more Ws into my win/loss column", Melody would explain.

"How are you finding LAW?"

Harley after noticing her friend would be glad to hear her voice, the lightweight would appreciate a good friendly toned voice as opposed to some of the brats are stuck ups that could be found in the wrestling business. " Law is good, I just signed up a few days ago. I've actually got some time scheduled in today's event, I'd be happy to switch that out for a match if you'd like. I suppose you could think of that as an open challenge. Although it certainly won't help your win loss record. " The softcore princess would say, staying friendly through-out her response, although she did smirk at Melody during the parts of her response that seemed like a challenge.

The lightweight would then wait to see what Melody's reaction would be.

Melody nodded as Harley described her positive time in LAW, with her admitting that it might be possible to have their long awaited rematch from the last year's match today!

"Oh, you cheeky little girl", Melody said with a snide grin, before standing up, and outstretching her hand to the softcore princess: "You're on.", Melody would accept Harley's challange, happy to try and finish the match with the lightweight cutie for real this time...

Harley would giggle at Melody's comment before then accepting her opponent's handshake. The loghtweight returning that smirk in exchange for her opponent's grin. Until the Softcore princess's expression would drop somewhat as she remembered something.

" Oh wait, my manager thinks I should keep having fun matches for a while, sorry let me just check with him. " Harley would say before taking out her phone and dialing a number, the phone only ringing for a second before someone picked up on the other side. " Hey...Yeah I'm planning to have a match...yup. I know...No. uhm no. I'm not sure actually." Harley would say, looking over at Melody as she said the last few things, the green haired wrestler only getting half the conversation.

" Alright, will do. Thank you. " Harley would say before hanging up the phone and smiling at Melody again. " Melody, would you be alright with with a bikini match on the beach? " Harley would ask, more or less knowing the answer but being confident that she could convince Melody.

Melody smiled as she shook hands with Harley, with the 2 girls prepared fully prepared for a friendly match to determine who was better of the two of them...

...or so Melody thought, until Harley explained the situation with her manager, considering she did know what fell under the category of "fun" for the Softcore Princess.

And after a short conversation with her manager, she found out just what kind of "fun" Harley's manager had in store for:

"What...?"

It was no secret that Melody...shyed away from the more sexual and lewd aspects of LAW, finding pretty much all of the stuff that Harley did and other companies (and it was foolish to assume she wasn't going to do here) was not for her in that regard, respecting the now-lightweight raven-haired girl for her wrestling skills more than anything else.

Even though bikini match was a lot higher on the list than a full blown hentai match, Melody REALLY wasn't hot about the idea. Slightly panicking, she had to ask:

"I-is it possible to maybe convince your manager for a simple match? And on the beach? What's wrong with a normal arena?"

Harley would notice Melody's reluctance, but she was certain that the terms had to be maintained. Regardless the lightweight really did want to fight her and wanted to do her best not to scare her friend off, so she would exercise her creative muscles somewhat to come up with some reasons that would be more convincing than the real reason of that's just what Harley and her manager liked.

" Ahh...I'm sorry, but I made a deal with a sponsor to do a while back to uhm, wear their bikini brand in a match on the beach. I forgot but the deadline is coming up for that soon, and so my manager is anxious and refuses to change it. " Harley would say, her excuse being pretty reasonable, even if completely fabricated, she thought that Melody might buy it since there was no real way for her to check her words or not.

" Don't worry Mel, I won't do anything I swear. I won't even grope you, I really mean it. It'll just be like a normal match, but we'll be wearing bikinis and have a nice view of the ocean, doesn't it sound fun? " Harley would continue, really wanting to convince Melody to take part. Even if she was perhaps making a false promise with her gropeing comment since sometimes it just ends up happening without any real thought process.

Melody let out "ums" and "ahs" to Harley as an answer for a little while. On the one hand, she fully understood why Harley needed the match (even though she knew that the softcore princess was more than happy to do a match like that). Plus, with Harley's promise to not do anything she usually did in her lewd matches, it left Melody with little reason to not accept the match...right?

But still, doubt was creeping around Melody's mind about the match. She assumed the match would be both televised, and would have a good crowd of paid beach goers as part of it. The fact that she would be wrestling in front of LAW fans at a beach in a fairly revealing bikini (and especially with the fact that her dad would likely be watching the match) was leaving Melody a fairly anxious towards the idea...

...up until a certain counter point came up in her mind. She survived a freaking Piranha Deathmatch. She passed out from blood with how much she tried to win the bloody brutal affair with Alexia, and now she was refusing to have a simple match, with specific dresscode, at a specific arena, with her friend?

Shaking her head, Melody would finally come to her senses and give the raven-haired lightweight the answer: "I accept. But seriously. I know I am beautiful..., Melody said with a cheeky grin: "But keep your hands to yourself. I am counting on you to hold that promise, Harley", finishing the last part with a serious expression on her face, waiting to see Harley's reaction

Harley would be slightly worried as Melody seemed not to be too convinced that the match was a good idea, giving some pretty flat answers for a while. However the softcore princess knew that with her cute face and friendly charms she could make the green haired woman cave in to her playful will. The raven haired wrestler was at least being genuine about her words, for the most part at least.

However before Harley really needed to break out the big guns her friend would seemingly convince herself, causing the lightweight's eyes to sparkle with excitement as she had succeeded in persuading her good buddy into the match type she desired. The softcore princess of course not letting her victory be dampened by the fact that Melody had came to that conclusion herself.

Harley ready to jump for joy as she heard Melody respond, ready to grasp her opponent's hands and vigorously shake them once she agreed to the match up, but resisting that urge as she instead just listened on. the lightweight princess wondering what her future opponent was about to say after proclaiming herself beautiful, and then letting out a giggle as Melody made her angle clear.

" Sure, I'll not lay a single finger on you. " Harley would say, smiling to cover up the fact that she wasn't too certain. Harley's hands tended to just do things on their own, but in her last match with Melody nothing like that happened right? The softcore princess would ponder over it and would come to the conclusion that she actually couldn't remember.
