Match A: Melody Serperior vs "The Miracle Girl" Mighty Yukiko

Yukiko wouldn't let Melody rest for long, as the Ace would get Melody up to her feet, before sending her into the ropes in an Irish Whip!

Rebounding from the ropes, the greenette would keep a close eye on her opponent, trying to duck and evade any attack her opponent had in mind. If she planned for a clothesline or for a kick to greenette's head, Melody would swiftly dodge at the last moment, or sidestep past Yukiko if she planned to grab her mid-run.

And as Yukiko would turn to face Melody, the greenette instead will jump and backflip, aiming her foot at Yukiko's head for a Pele Kick!

Yukiko readied herself after throwing Serperior to the ropes, looking to catch her on the rebound with a simple lariat. Not the most technical move in Yukiko's arsenal, but an effective one and one that should have been easy to hit after stunning Melody with those suplexes!

As Yukiko streched out her arm, however, Melody suddenly ducked under her arm with surprising speed! Yukiko's bicep swung at thin air before she turned around into a Pele Kick from Melody, her shin catching her right on the top of her head!

"GAH!" Yukiko shouted as she crashed down back first to the mat, hands grabbing her now hurting head and knees steepled, vulnerable to further attacks!

Melody safely fell on her chest after the Pele, , she heard Yukiko's scream as the result of her attack working. Smirking as she got up, she didn't waist any time to rush to the ropes...

...stepped on the bottom rope,

...put the second foot on the other...

...and then jumped of of that, trying to land her low angle Springboard Moonsault on top of Yukiko's stomach or spine!

If successful, Melody would attempt to pin the Pinkette Ace by staying on top of her and hooking her leg!

Yukiko was still reeling from the well placed Pele, thighs shaking slightly as she pounded her feet on the canvas to try and deal with the disorientation brought on from the kick. When she was finally able to open her eyes, however, she saw something she wished she hadn't! Melody was gracefully soring through the air... right over her! Unable to move, Yukiko could only take a breath before...

*WHAM!*

Melody's body would crash into her with great force, driving the air from her lungs and even causing a bit of spittle to fly into the air! Her arms would briefly go up into the air before falling lifeless to the canvas, briefly out of action as she felt her leg be hooked up for a pin!'

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

...

She couldn't lose to Melody like this!

WIth a despite motion, Yukiko would try to shoot her shoulder up just before the ref could bring his hand down for a third time!

Melody nodded and counted in her head as the ref counted the pin...

...and suddenly, Yukiko would manage to kick out right as the ref prepared to count the 3rd count!!

Melody rolled away from Yukiko. She couldn't deny the count, but the fact that the Ace kicked out at 2 was telling her thst she was getting close at getting her opponent down for the 3!

Melody quickly got back to her feet, and took a hold of Yukiko's head, trying to pull her up to her feet before getting the woman into the front facelock, knowing it was time to work up to her bigger moves...with one of them being the Impaler DDT!

Melody would attempt to lift Yukiko up into the air, to attempt to slam her down into the mat head first!

"Is-is that all you got?" Yukiko retorted through shallow, labored breaths, a wry smile on her face. She had to stay confident if she wanted to walk out tonight with the win! Melody came close to pinning her there, but whether that was from Yukiko already being heavily damaged or simply being caught off guard by the brit was up to interpretation.

Yukiko groaned as her opponent pulled her up to her feet and placed her arm around her neck in a front facelock, telegraphing a DDT! Yukiko would feel the lift for the move begin as she realized she couldn't let herself be hit by this!

Wildly kicking her legs to fight the lift, Yukiko would attempt to force Melody to put her down before delivering a series of fists to her ribs to try and break the front facelock.

Actually managing to lift the Ace into the air, Yukiko started to hammer shots to greenette's side to attempt to escape from the move. Melody grunted, and as the result of the punches, let Yukiko go as the pinkette landed back on her feet.

Not keen on losing her momentum to her opponent, Melody would hold her hurt side with one hand, while winding up her other hand to attempt to land a Knife Edge Chop on Yukiko's chest!

Yukiko's head was thankful as she was able to fight out of the DDT attempt, now it was time to get back into this!

Yukiko saw Melody wind up for a knife edge chop, already preparing a counter! As soon as that arm would swing forward to her chest, Yukiko would attempt to sidestep the attack before jumping in the air, bringing her legs around that now outstretched arm, attempting to bring Melody down back first into the mat and begin pulling hard on the arm with a cross armbar!

As Melody swung her arm right at Yukiko's chest, the pinkette would manage to avoid the chop, sidestepping to the side!

And before Melody could get her hand back to attempt another chop, the Ace would jump at her arm, trapping it with her legs and bringing the greenette down to the mat with a Cross Armbar!

"AAAAH! NO! NO!", Melody screamed as Yukiko stretched her arm further and further in the wrong way, the greenette wildly flailing in pain! She clutched her free arm into a fist, slamming it into the mat, refusing to give in to her opponent despite the dangerous submission hold that threatened her right arm the longer she stayed in the hold!

She wildly shook her head as the ref asked her whether she wanted to give up. 10 seconds of being trapped in the hold was already proving too long for the greenette however. Yukiko wasn't going to break the hold until Melody tapped out, so she had to find a different way to escape!

Taking a hold of Yukiko's left leg, Melody attempted to roll the pinkette onto her shoulders, the ref quickly switching her attention to Yukiko's shoulders. If they were indeed, pinned to the mat, she would have no choice but to start counting Yukiko out!

Yukiko usually wasn't one to try and end a match early, but Melody was explosive with her offense. If she caught her with a big move, it could very well be the end! She pulled back on the arm of Melody with all her strength, not trying to break it of course, but to try and force a submission.

Melody was lasting a relatively long time in the hold, a little over ten seconds, but Yukiko kept hold of that arm between her legs. Just a few more moments and...

Suddenly Yukiko was staring up at the lights with her shoulders on the mat! The surprise pin caught the veteran off guard for a moment, her legs shaking as the ref began to count!

"ONE!"

With one strong kick of her legs, Yukiko attempted to get out of the pin, letting go of Melody's arm in the process. She would then try to scramble to her feet before Melody could retaliate.
