Arcade day out! (for CyanDimitrik)

"Mwehehe..." Clara couldn't help but giggle at her foe's insults, finally getting her foe's health down to a similar 25% point, finally managing to get them to a similar level as Vanessa finished the animation of her attack, getting off of Sarah.

However, right as Clara wanted to move in for the finishing blow, she felt a light push from the side, just enough to push her out of the way!

"HEY!"

Clara tried to quickly get back to the game, the push causing her to accidentally push the punch button. She quickly tried to pull her joystick away, to signal for a block, but Vanessa was already stuck in the animation! If her rival was fast enough, she could utilize her cheating tactics to full advantage and punish Clara for the win in the battle!

Of course Katsumi is taking advantage of it. It's the entire reason why she did it! May this be the first lesson in Punkonomics!

The moment Clara stumbles aside and Vanessa goofs a punch, the flailing long legs of Sarah come whirling in like a blender of eldritch tentacles, and none of what proceeds is anything Katsumi can take credit for. She's just here to hit buttons, fam. But his buttons she does, and with there being an opening, there is naught one could do in the wake of Khorne made manifest. The onslaught is so recklessly angry it may constitute a hate crime.

KO!

"Hahaaah~!," laughs Katsumi, fists thrust in the air and turning to the small gaggle of spectators. "That's right! Who's the champ?! Oshiro-sama~!"

It mostly draws laughter and cheeky applause as the punkette preens.

"You cheated!," pipes a voice in the back.

"I didn't see any ref'!," Katsumi immediately retorts, still bright, fangy smiles and arms raised.

Naturally, one mistake forced by her rival's cheating ways cost Clara the entire round, Sarah swiftly overwhelming Vanessa, knocking her out!

"Mggggh...just wait, in round 2 I..."

"YOU WIN!"

"Wh-wha...?"

Despite the VF4 matches usually being 3/5, or at least the traditional 2/3, suddenly the match was completely over, and Sarah was show as the victor! Adding more insult to injury, her opponent was celebrating like she was the queen of the universe! Clara's salt levels were off the chart for the moment...

"Mggggh...rematch! Right now!" The British woman would demand!

"Kahahah~!," laughs Katsumi, completely engrossed in the moment. Internally, she's pretty happy. She needed a win. Even a goofy little arcade game win made her feel a little better. Not getting what she wanted in front of an audience of people who gathered to watch her felt pretty lame; she could accept it in a wrestling ring. But out here, it's different. It's awkward.

But not now! She got to win, and she can just feel the vein pulsating in her cute former opponent's forehead behind her. Which, to be clear, makes the moment all the more fun.

Spinning around to face Clara, Katsumi tucks her hand beneath her chin, her expression full-on haughty cat-smile. "Oou, what's this? You want a rematch? But you know it'll go the same way! I've got the best moves, no matter who you use! In fact, because I won, I demand you keep callin' me hot!"

The audience is snickering. They know she 'cheated'. That's kind of on brand, though. The Punk Princess, bending the rules of engagement. Stop the presses. But taking advantage of their distraction, Katsumi sneaks her hand from beneath her chin to instead lightly boop her fingertip at Clara's nose. "Yer still cute, though."

It was rare for Clara to experience true gaming based rage. Usually, when she started to feel frustrated, she would walk away. But one thing after another hit her like a storm, leaving her unable to react until it passed, leading her to explode with a hasty challenge!

Instead, her opponent proceeded to mock her, demanding Clara called her hot for beating her! Clara's face got redder and redder from frustration...especially as she booped her on her nose! (And, admittedly, called Clara cute...)

"Mggggh...I don't even know your name to properly flirt with you!" Clara would let out, trying to keep her frustration down...

Oh sweet lord, Katsumi could just live in moments like these. The redness in Clara's face, the visible frustration, the outrage, and perhaps a hint of flattery in the teasing, wry flirt delivered in a manner that's somehow backhanded but open-palmed at the same time.

"We'd better fix that, huh?," she asks rhetorically.

In a sudden spin to the onlookers, she shouts, "What's my name!" With her arms thrown wide and head tipped back, arrogantly bright smile on her face, the gathering obediently calls, "Oshiro Katsumi!" They're in on the merriment, too, at this point.

"That's right!" Her right arm angles, planting her fist to her hip, while the left hand - the one closest to Clara - fingersnaps into a lazy sideways point and wink. "The Punk Princess. And don'cha forget it."
