Clara Gaster vs Nerissa Labong III — Fight Pit Match

The pain in Clara's leg was sharp, so she hurried to free Nerissa from the homd in order to escape. Nerissa wouldn't keep her trapped too long, Clara's hold taking too much wind out of her for the Echidna to be able to immediately fight back.

"Mggh..." The Brit groaned, rubbing her leg to get some feeling back into it. Tha kfulyl, despite how sharply Nerissa twisted it, it didn't seem like her like was going to hamper her...unless the Echidna got a firm hold of it again.

Both women were worse for wear after their initial clashes, even after Nerissa showcased her unwillingness to fight Clara. Nevertheless, as the two women rose up to their feet, the match seemed to be able to truly begin!

And to test Nerissa's answer, Clara would swiftly step to her foe, attempting to ram her forearm across her chest!

When Nerissa got to her feet, she felt in all its glory how serious the consequences of all that had happened to her body were. Despite several successful attacks, she was clearly in a worse condition than her opponent. And since it was now clear that this match would not end easily, she definitely needed to somehow equalize her position with the British woman.

However, she didn't have enough time to think about it, because as soon as Clara was on her feet, she immediately rushed to the Echidna. Once again feeling a stab in her heart, the Native American woman got ready. And when Clara waved her arm, clearly intending to hit Nerissa in the chest, the Echidna pushed off the mat in order to jump two steps back from Clara with a sharp movement.

It might seem that Nerissa had moved back to retreat, but…

As soon as her feet touched the mat again, she intended to take a step forward, placing her right foot slightly to the left of her left foot. Starting to spin to the left, she was going to forcefully push off the mat with her right foot in order to soar into the air and swing her left leg, sending a jumping spinning heel kick into Clara's head.

And although the Native American woman was counting on success, she did not rule out the possibility that since the Shadow Lord was in better condition than she was, the brunette would be able to evade. And she had an answer prepared for this, because after she pushed off the mat with her right foot, she bent her right leg at the knee in order to sharply straighten this leg in case of failure and hit Clara in the head with perhaps the most unique kick, namely a guyver kick.

Only two women in the federation knew how to use this kick, and Nerissa intended to remind that she was one of them.

Clara could see Nerissa moving back, her strikes missing it's mark completely thanks to her rival's retreat...but she could also see further disappointment in her eyes. More than losing the match, Clara dreaded the future one on one talk she would have with the Echidna...if she'd talk to her later at all.

Clara planned to step forward to gain ground against Nerissa, only for the Native American to jump up, swinging her leg at Clara, the Brit bending her body to avoid having her head run through with Nerissa's foot!

"That was too clo---"

Right as Clara had that thought that, Nerissa jumped, practically flying at her with her foot aiming at her head!

Clara tried to move her body back once again, but Nerissa would account for that distance, ramming her foot into the Brit's face!

"GUUAAAGH!"

Clara would cry out as Nerissa's kick struck her, falling to the ground as she held her hurting face!

As Nerissa expected, her first kick missed the target. Yes, she was fast, but her opponent's skills couldn't be questioned. However, after successfully dodging, Clara relaxed too quickly, perhaps forgetting how good Nerissa is when it comes to kicks. Using her other leg, the Echidna kicked the brunette right in the face, demonstrating one of the most difficult and beautiful kicks possible.

The women collapsed onto the mat almost simultaneously, the only difference being that Clara remained lying there, covering her face with her hands, while the Native American woman placed her palms near her head, kicked her legs up, and then forcefully pushed off the mat, thereby jumping to her feet with the help of a kip-up.

She felt a heaviness all over her body because the start of the match was definitely not on her side and now she had to deal with the consequences. And now that Clara had clearly outlined how this match would go, she had to make even more efforts to align her positions with her opponent first, and then take the lead.

Trying to ignore absolutely all the thoughts in her head, Nerissa was going to grab the brunette's right arm in the wrist and elbow area, and then in one motion lift her to her feet in order to twist her arm with an arm wrench at the same second.

She didn't want to give Clara much freedom because she knew it wouldn't end well for her. Therefore, if successful, she, still holding the British woman's arm, intended to jump up, while turning to the left to swing her right leg and kick Clara in the head again, this time with an arm wrench enzuigiri kick, thereby not only causing bells to ring in the head of the Shadow Lord, but also throwing her to the wall of the cage.

Nerissa definitely took Clara by surprise...which was a good indicator that she was fighting in full strength. This was a move Clara rarely experienced in a match. Though Chika had a similar style to Nerissa, both had different starts and different ends. Even if she was Clara's main sparring partner, there were things from Nerissa she had to pay attention to.

Of course, now, with a throbbing headache, it was difficult to properly formulate a plan of action, plan of keeping herself safe against her rival, especially as Nerissa regain a stable base first. Swiftly, Clara was pulled back to her feet by her arm, and Nerissa would twist the limb to keep the Brit in place!

"Mggh!"

This was strange...between the two of them, Clara definitely had more experience in the technical aspect of wrestling...so what was---

Right as Clara had a thought to reverse the hold, Nerissa would act first, using Clara's twisted arm as a pivot to jump up and drive her leg into the side of the Shadow Lord's head, sandwiching it between both it, and the metal cage to Clara's right!

Clara's mouth would open. Whether or not she screamed from the pain, she didn't know, as the bells in her ears were ringing from the strike, to the point of her not even being able to hear the audience's excitement for the move. Clara would fall down on her knees...before fall down on her face, sucking air as she saw stars in her eyes, unable to tell what was her mind trying to cope with the pain her head was experiencing and what was actually in front of her...

It was painful. For both of them. The only difference is that Clara felt pain in her head, while Nerissa felt pain in her soul. The kick of the Native American woman literally swept the brunette to the wall of the cage, while the Echidna herself fell on her back. She wasn't going to stay in that position for long. Panting, but she rolled back. However, instead of straightening up to her full height after that, she remained on one knee in a low-start position.

Damn. Yes, she had become much more serious, which was easy to see by her heavy breathing and the sweat running down her body. But she would be lying if she said that she left all emotions behind. Cold logic tried to remind her that she was a fighter and that she should have only one goal in the ring, namely victory. But her emotions... her emotions had become an enemy she wasn't ready to face.

To keep herself from going soft, the Echidna shook her head, pushing all thoughts away. Clara's demand for a real fight was fair, Nerissa wasn't going to deny it. By refusing to give up, she made her rival a kind of promise, and now she must keep that promise.

"Puuuuu..." Nerissa took such a deep breath that a whistle sounded.

And then she charged forward, using her low-start position. She ran towards the Shadow Lord with such speed that she could be compared to a green lightning bolt. The Echidna intended to catch the moment when the British woman would make an attempt to get up on all fours. Given the power of her previous kick, she was confident that Clara would not be able to react to what she was up to. What exactly was that?

When there were no more than two steps left between them, Nerissa intended to push off from the mat with force, while leaning back and bending both legs at the knees. She hadn't forgotten how Clara had used her knee to smash the Native American woman's head against the cage wall. And now she intended to do the same. Abruptly straightening both legs, she was about to kick the brunette in the head with a hard shotgun dropkick!

She could hear the ringing in her ears loud and clear, as brief flashes appeared and disappeared in front of her. Nerissa's kick absolutely rocked Clara's mind, the Enzuigiri managing to be the equalizer Nerissa was looking for all this time in order to catch up to Clara once she decided to actually battle the Brit.

But in the end, Clara understood that she chose this. This was what she wanted. Not to be treated as a friend in the ring, not to have Nerissa passively "experience" the match...but for the Echidna to try and prove herself against her, something she was managing to do despite the very rocky start. Clara would push herself to all fours, hearing the loud approach of her rival's feet. She grit her teeth, and sharply pushed herself off the mat.

...in the split second she did so, she could see Nerissa's boot just barely miss her face as Clara pulled away just a mere millisecond before the collision, managing to barely to dodge the Shotgun Dropkick in time!

With Nerissa down on her rear from her own move, Clara took her time to try and get back to her feet, trying to do so before Nerissa!

After this move she will be able to try to take the victory again. Clara didn't let her use the finisher last time, but when her feet hit the brunette's head, she just won't be able to stop her. With pain in her heart, but with determination in her mind, the Echidna tried to take as much speed as possible before jumping forward and throwing both feet at her opponent's head.

Unfortunately, it was at this moment that Clara found the strength to escape the attack of the Native American woman again. Pushing off the mat, she shifted her position and Nerissa's feet slammed into the metal mesh of the cage. Of course, it wasn't concrete, but an eerie resonance passed through the Echidna's legs the moment she found herself on the mat.

“What the fucking hell…” she said bitterly and barely audibly.

Again. Again, she failed to finish the job. As she neared victory again, the moment slipped away from her even though her body was working at its maximum this time. Once again, preparing for a big attack was not enough. Disappointed in herself, she punched the mat and then looked at Clara. Right now, she was trying to get to her feet.

Not wanting to start all over again, the Echidna gritted her teeth, and then pushed off the mat with force to first get up on one knee and then in one leap both get to her feet and close the distance between her and Clara. She wanted to grab the back of the British woman's head with both hands to lower her head down, and then raise her right knee up for a classic, but still hard knee strike right in her face.
