[Standard Match] Margarita Jorgensen vs Lucy Lincoln (D) - The price for popularity

Supported by the audience, Margarita felt a surge of unprecedented inspiration. Charlotte had taught her to keep her cool in any situation, but the pink-haired girl couldn't help herself. The moment she pushed off the ropes and soared into the air, goosebumps ran through her body, and a radiant smile was reflected on her face.

Accompanied by deafening screams from the audience, the Sea Star collapsed on Lucy, which caused the American woman to scream in pain. The fact that Lucy couldn't move after that made it clear to Margarita that it was time to do what she was here for. Win and give the audience another reason to smile.

Without changing her position and still pressing her chest against her opponent's, Margarita reached for Lucy's far leg in order to first hook it, and then pull it up. A moment later, the referee lay down next to them, and then slapped the mat for the first time.

"ONE!" Sounded deafeningly through the arena.

Despite Lucy’s best efforts to keep an upper hand, Margarita would be the one who would pull off the first pin of the bout, a fact that, while a small loss in the bigger match, made her lightly growl at her rival’s success at her expense.

The crowd was ecstatic as the ref tried to count:

”ONE!”

“TWO!”

Using her free leg and hands, Lucy would press 3 of her limbs to the floor, trying to push up, and stop the count right then and there with a kick out! No way was she losing the match this soon!

Perhaps someone would call it naivety, but when the referee prepared to slap the mat for the third time, Margarita felt the sweet taste of victory on her lips. However, one moment later, this sweet taste was replaced by bitterness as her opponent broke the pin at the last moment, making it clear to everyone that the match was not over yet.

Pursing her lips at the setback, the Sea Star immediately grabbed Lucy's arm. When she got to her feet, she intended to get her opponent to her feet too. Now was not the best time to slow down, so the former actress was going to immediately take a step to the side, while pushing Lucy in the back to send her to the far ropes with the help of an Irish whip.

A few seconds later, she was going to follow her opponent to guess the moment when Lucy would bounce off the ropes, so that she could immediately send her down with a hard clothesline!

Lucy managed to kick out just in time, grimacing both in lingering pain…and dissatisfaction of already getting so close in losing the match. Margarita wouldn’t let Lucy rest, however, as she grabbed her arm, and forced her to her feet, and then launched her into the ropes courtesy of an Irish Whip!

Lucy was still hurting from Margarita’s earlier attacks, but, gritting her teeth, would force her body to follow her own movements. First, she would see the fellow Pinkette’s arm winding up for her. Lucy would duck at just the right time to avoid her head being clotheslined off her shoulders. Then, she would continue her run, hitting the ropes once more, and running back towards the Sea Star, aiming her foot up to her chest for a Big Boot attack!

In an effort to correct an unfortunate setback, Margarita spared no effort to send Lucy for a run to the far ropes. She intended to bring her opponent down to the mat in a tough way in order to take the victory this time. But another setback awaited her, because at the same second when her arm was supposed to crash into the chest of the other pink-haired woman, Lucy ducked, leaving Margarita's line of attack.

Annoyed by this even more, Margarita barely found the strength to stifle a groan of disappointment. But she remembered her master's lessons and did everything in her power to keep her composure. Continuing to run forward, she turned at the last moment to bounce off the ropes for another attempt. This time she will definitely send Lucy down!

BAM!

A white flash in the Sea Star's eyes marked her fiasco. She hadn't expected Lucy to gather her strength so quickly for such an effective attack. The boot crashed into Margarita's face, knocking the ground out from under her feet. She fell onto the mat with a crash and immediately covered her face with her hands because of the agony. Her lower lip tore and blood began to flow down her chin, but this worried her very little because it was nothing compared to other painful sensations.

“Ummm... ummmmm!!!!” She was groaning in agony.

BAM!

As Lucy’s foot crashed into Margarita, she could tell the attack didn’t go as she expected. In some ways, it’s gone slightly better, as she struck Margarita in the face, rather than her chest, dealing more damage to her rival. That said, it wasn’t Lucy’s intention to draw blood from her opponent’s lip, the pinkette having an awkward expression on her face.

”Oof…sorry about that…let’s finish this quickly. Really don’t want to ruin your pretty face any more!”

Grabbing Margarita’s ponytail, she dragged the other pinkette back to her feet, before trapping her head under her arm, and hooking her leg with her other arm, trying to slam her backwards and bridge for a pinfall off a Fisherman Suplex!

It was painful. Like hell. Margarita's instincts literally screamed for the former actress to pull herself together, but she just couldn't do it. Continuing to lie on the mat, covering her face with her hands, she barely found the strength to hold back tears because it seemed to her that her face was on fire after her rival's hard kick.

Without exaggeration, many could say that the Danish girl was completely defenseless, so it was no secret to Lucy either. With another mockery towards Margarita, she grabbed her by the head, forcing her to take an upright position. The pink-haired girl's legs looked like cotton wool and she could barely stand on her feet, only after Lucy wrapped her head with her left hand did she realize that she had to try to do something.

With a groan of pain, she threw both hands up, clutching at the arms of the other pink-haired girl. But Margarita's body still hasn't recovered from the shock of the kick. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't tense her hands hard enough, so her resistance was literally useless.

She couldn't stop the American girl from grabbing her leg and in a moment the Sea Star was in the air. Lucy abruptly leaned back, causing Margarita's head and entire upper body to crash into the match, causing the former actress to let out a scream of agony. But her troubles did not end there either, because her opponent decided that this was the best moment for a pin. The referee did not take long to wait, quickly getting down on the mat.

"ONE!"

"TWO!!"

The pain made her want to cry, but deep down, Margarita knew she just couldn't give up now. Her defeat will mean that girls like Lucy can do anything in the ring. Her defeat will mean that evil prevails. No, that's not how things are supposed to work. She couldn't lose today, not to a girl like Lucy. Therefore...

"THR!!!..."

Before the referee's hand touched the mat, the Sea Star jerked violently to the side, breaking the pin. And although she remained lying on the mat after that, for now it was enough for her that she managed to stay in the game, showing the strength of spirit that a real fighter should possess.

Fisherman Suplex managed to end things for Lucy a couple of times in her short career, and for a short moment, she believed that the move managed to keep Margarita down for good…

And she broke it right before the third count!

”Mggggh…”, Lucy would react to the kick out, rolling to her knees, as she turned to the ref:

”I am certain that was 3!”

“Two”, the zebra striped shirted official insisted, in spite of the angry, pouty expression on the smaller pinkette’s face.

”Grrrrgh…hey! I am trying to do you a favor here!”, Lucy would let out angrily as she turned to Margarita: ”But if you are going to be so stubborn…”

With that, Lucy grabbed Sea Star’s short hair, forcing her back to her feet, before kicking her rival in the gut. Lucy believed that if her rival wasn’t going to value her own face, she would finish the job thoroughly, by driving it into the canvas with an X-Factor Facebuster!

This was definitely not what Margarita expected from the start of her new career. Her first match could be called strange at best. And already in the second match, she had to get into a fight with a girl who was frankly disgusting to her. The former actress tried to see only the best in people, but Lucy's sweet appearance was simply incompatible with her nasty character.

Therefore, the Sea Star could not lose. Evil prevails when good does nothing. Thinking about it, she smiled faintly and put her palms near her head to try to get to her feet. However, it soon became clear that she could count on some help in this.

With obvious displeasure that victory had eluded her, the other pink-haired girl grabbed Margarita by the hair, which made the former actress hiss painfully. Once on her feet, she took a deep breath through the pain to disperse the blood through her body. Just in time, because after a moment, Lucy threw a knee strike to her stomach.

Margarita strained her left arm as much as possible and put her palm in front of her opponent's knee, thereby significantly weakening the blow. However, she needed something else. She intended to grab her opponent's thigh while simultaneously throwing her right hand up to grab Lucy's left shoulder.

Evil must not prevail.

“KIIIAAAA!!!”

Screaming due to an overabundance of emotions, Margarita intended to lean back as sharply as possible, relaxing her arms at the last moment to send her vile rival flying with the help of a snap exploder suplex.

Lucy had no personal animosity towards Margarita. Hell, she thought her opponent was quite cute! But this wasn't a date. She was her opponent in the ring, and she was going to win by any means necessary! If Margarita believed the twin-tailed pinkette to be evil, then let her!

Sadly for Lucy, her not caring about angering her foe created a new problem. The Sea Star found her second wind to keep going, as she blocked Lucy's knee strike, instead trapping her leg and grabbing her shoulder!

"Hey! Let g-OOOOOOOOOO--AAAAGH!!!"

With a loud shout of her own, Margarita would throw Lucy backwards with an Exploder Suplex, Lucy painfully landing on her back and neck!
