Friendship Making Media Scrum! (For Bare)

Alizeh knew Clara by reputation very well and she was a wrestler of great prestige yet rocky results. Someone that more often than not lost in big time matches despite having a strong run towards it. Alizeh could somewhat relate and she'd nod towards the Brit as she explained her thought process about the last months of her career leading up to the bout against Baroness. It was sad but fair and luckily only a foregone conclusion since Clara had won. But she could imagine how the idea of what would have happened if she lost affecting her somewhat.

What spoke far more than her words however was Clara's tone of voice. She sounded exhausted and unsure, like she may collapse at any moment. So Alizeh leaned over, giving the Brit a gentle nudge with her elbow as she smiled. "Thankfully its all behind you, and hopefully nothing but good things are ahead, so try to enjoy things while you can, Lord knows its gonna be crazy once the new champ is crowned." Alizeh said in a optimistic voice to try and pick Clara's spirits back up.

Alizeh’s simple words of: “it’s all behind you” made Clara do a long exhale. She was right. Baroness was behind her, and she had future matches to look forward to, be they against rivals like Nerissa, or challenging…or hopefully, defending the belt!

She positively nodded as she looked forward, through the people filled walkways, as she pointed to a Ramen place: ”Is that the one?”, she started to carefully approach the place, waiting for a positive answer…

Thankfully it seemed that her words had reached through to Clara and put her at ease to some extent and making her relax. Just in time too since they were coming up at the ramen place. "Yep! Come on!" Alizeh said excitedly waving for Clara to follow her inside where Alizeh would greet the workers before taking a seat and gesturing for Clara to sit next to her. "Tonkotsu with no mushrooms for me please!" Alizeh said before turning to her new friend. "What are you thinking Clara? You strike me as a Miso Girl personally." Alizeh said jokingly as she leaned against the counter.

As Clara sat down, she gave a menu a quick glance, though she already had an idea for what she wanted to order as she sat down at the counter next to Alizeh:

”Hmmm…I think I am in a mood for a Shoyu with Beef…”, she would point out choosing, before realizing the joke from Alizeh…

”Ah! Oh…I…I don’t come off like that, do I?”, Clara would ask.

Making her off handed comment Alizeh would put in her order with the server before turning to Clara with a raised eye brow in confusion. "The beef here is good and uh... I guess? I'm not really sure what you mean hehe." Alizeh said a little awkwardly, not quite knowing what Clara meant but felt like it was just best to try and laugh it off.

Clara shook her head, awkwardly giggling as she told Alizeh: ”Don’t…don’t worry about it…”, while in her mind thinking: ”I spent too much time on the internet…”

”Beef is good, that’s all I need to know!”, Clara would collect herself, as the two women would give their orders to the cook.

”…so…we are off cameras now. I really want to ask, no aggression…”

“…Who wins between the two of us?”, Clara would ask, her mouth forcing itself into a sly smile…

Blinking at what Clara said before ultimately shrugging it off. No matter, not like it changed much between them. After giving their orders though Alizeh would turn towards the British woman with a raised eye brow. At the question Clara asked however Alizeh would chuckle a bit. "Well, I think its clear we'd both say eachother for one reason or another.

For instance you've got the experience advantage while I have height and weight, and we're even in other areas, match type would play into effect too... But honestly?" Alizeh said after explaining for a bit, pausing as she spoke before finishing. "Only way we'd get a answer if we had one straight up." Alizeh said with a calm, but confident smirk towards Clara while looking right in her eyes.

The question may have been a bad idea. It was meant to take the tension off the two women, especially after Clara's awkward remark, but the two of them put pride in their craft. Who knew how fierce things could get...

Ultimately, however, Alizeh gave a level-headed answer, one that Clara ultimately wanted to offer.

Giggling, Clara could only respond with: "It is the most accurate way. And i imagine the bookers would agree. Thats why we were probably set up as a pair from the start for the interview..."

Clara was expecting to check her emails tomorrow, and would likely see an offer for a match vs Alizeh.

"Probably standard to start with..." the Brit would respond to her thoughts outloud...

Clara asked what some may consider a loaded question and understandably so. After all both were inclined to say they'd win, but Alizeh had been in the business long enough to approach something like this. Likewise she held a lot of respect for Clara, so its not as if she would hit back with anything aggressive or rude. Just a genuine response. Luckily Clara took it as such and seemed to be on the same page which was great in Alizeh's opinion.

"Pfft yeah knowing those sneaky bastards they were probably hoping we'd brawl or something for drama clicks, but we don't need anything like that, way too above it you and I. Just the love of the game is needed." Alizeh said in ready agreement about what Clara said regarding the bookers likely hoping to have the two in a match soon and using the scrum as a way of making it happen.

But no matter, after all the match would definitely happen and now it was just about what match type they went with. "Yeah standard makes sense, it'd be the most fair although..." Alizeh said trailing off before getting a teasing grin and leaning a little closer to the Brit. "I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a more lewd match with you." Alizeh said teasingly with a quick kissing motion to her soon to be opponent which was purely meant as a bit of teasing since she heard Clara can be a bit quick to fluster.

Clara nodded to Alizeh agreeing with her, before getting slightly confused about the greenette shuffling next to her, blushing a bit…before her cheeks turned full on red from her soon-to-be rival’s comment.

”Aaaah…let’s…let’s keep that in mind for next one. You never know…”, Clara would respond to Alizeh’s offer. Naturally, the greenette was cute, and she wouldn’t mind a hentai match in the slightest.

Soon enough, their orders would be brought to them, with the smell of fresh ramen enveloping the two women.

”Not much for the traditions…but do you want to do the honors?”
