[High Speed Match] Lily Menage vs Phoebe Justice - Fast and furious

Before using any of her finishers, Lily always preferred to make sure that her opponent would not be able to stop her and that this would be the end of the match. So she was confident of success, because thanks to the fact that she managed to raise her knees a few moments ago, Phoebe had big breathing problems, not to mention the pain in her body.

With cold determination, the Black Crow turned around and grabbed the American woman's head, preparing to finish this high speed match. But then something happened that she hadn't expected. The brunette felt a grip on her shoulders. Before she could react in any way, Phoebe pulled her down. The Black Crow's back slammed into her opponent's knees, causing the Englishwoman to let out her first really loud scream.

“AAHH!!”

If Phoebe hadn't continued to hold her shoulders, her body would probably have just bounced off the brunette's knees. She would have fallen forward onto the mat face down, but there were ropes right in front of her. Wrapping her left arm around the middle rope, Lily remained on her knees, while at the same time placing her right hand on her injured back. Gulping air with her mouth, she was barely able to cope with this pain because this was the second really hard attack on her back.

Phoebe rolled backwards, ending up back on her feet, as Lily was left reeling in the aftermaths of the Detective’s Backstabber, completely open for a follow up attack! Though Phoebe was still wheezing after missing her Moonsault, she forced her body on, knowing that in this time-limited match, she had to pull out all the stops and go beyond her limit to win! Phoebe rushed her foe wrapping her arm around her head for an inverted facelock…

…before hopping onto the rope, and jumping off it, trying to drive her rival’s head into the ground with an Inverted Tornado DDT!

The almost complete lack of emotion was Lily's curse, but in the ring it was in a sense a blessing, because thanks to this she almost always remained cool-headed. However, the pain in her back literally disrupted her brain and she couldn't think of anything else.

This gave her opponent a great opportunity. Taking advantage of the vulnerable state of the Black Crow, Phoebe grabbed her head, and then jumped to the ropes. The whole world turned into a carousel for Lily, her black hair rustled in the gusts of wind, and then her head crashed into the mat.

A white flash of light made her think for a moment that she had lost consciousness. Because of this, she couldn't even scream. When the Englishwoman opened her eyes, her vision was unfocused. Large drops of sweat rolled down her body, while Lily herself was breathing heavily in a futile attempt to cope with painful sensations.

The DDT would visibly rock Lily. It was one thing to not show any emotions…it was another when you could tell that someone’s eyes were unable to focus on anything. Phoebe glanced at the clock. Time was passing fast, but there was still over a third of the match left!

The Detective would swiftly try and go for her own signature move, climbing the ropes to try and set it up. Measuring the distance to the dazed Crow, she jumped, spinning in the air, aiming her body at Lily’s for 450 Splash!

If she successfully landed her attack, she would try to hook her rival’s leg to pin her for the win!

Sensitivity slowly began to return to the Englishwoman. The brunette slowly raised her hand and ran it over her face, at the same time wiping away sweat and making sure that she could still move. Following her body, her mind also began to return to normal. And as soon as the Black Crow gained the ability to think clearly, she quickly realized that something was wrong. Where is her rival?

"GUHUAK!!!"

Before Lily could even look around, Phoebe collapsed on top of her, squeezing all the air out of her lungs. The Englishwoman's legs and upper body jumped, and then she went limp on the mat under her opponent. She didn't even feel that Phoebe had hooked her leg. But she distinctly heard a pop near her head.

"TWO!!"

"Why... two?" The Black Crow asked herself in her head.

Her level of intelligence allowed her to find the answer quickly enough. Her opponent's attack was so powerful that this time the Black Crow actually lost consciousness for a moment. However, that wasn't what mattered. The only thing that mattered was that she was only one second away from defeat. And now she had to find the answer to a much more important question. Is she ready to lose?

"THR..."

Jerking her whole body to the side, Lily pulled her leg out of Phoebe's grip. When she was on her right side, her black hair partially covered her face, but that didn't stop her from seeing that the referee stuck out only two fingers. Her body might be filled with pain, but the Black Crow could let it stop her. Even a soulless doll like her had a dream. She wanted to feel. And for the sake of this dream, she was willing to endure much more than that.

TWO!

THR—-NO!

It was close. Damn close.

Phoebe would sit up in the aftermath of her move, looking up at the ref holding 2 fingers up, and then showing them to Phoebe, to make sure she understood the match was still going on:

”I get it, I get it…”

Getting her hair out of her face, Phoebe glared at her rival. 450 was enough for a 2.9 count. How would Lily fare against her actual finishing move.

Phoebe stalked her foe, carefully awaiting her rise as she prepared for the right moment, in order to swing her from the back, to nail her with her finishing Rider Kick K!

“Calm your mind... free it from the pain...” Lily mentally gave herself a command.

Lily was not familiar with such things as panic or fear, so during the match she is guided only by logic and calculations. However, such a strong physical sensation as pain always prevented her from thinking rationally. That is why the Englishwoman did everything in her power to abstract herself from the pain at the moment when she began to get to her feet.

“Think... think and listen...” she ordered herself again.

It was the second time Phoebe had disappeared from her field of vision. And since the Black Crow had already drawn conclusions after the first mistake, she had no doubt that her opponent was preparing to attack. She didn't have time to look around, so she focused on hearing. Just in time. Because as soon as she got to her feet, she heard two distinct footsteps behind her, and the second one was much louder than the first one. And since there was no third footstep, Lily made the only rational conclusion.

“She jumped...”

The Black Crow wasn't going to check what kind of attack Phoebe had prepared for her. Instead, the brunette pushed off the mat, doing a sharp roll to the right, thereby dodging what she found out a second later was a kick that had every chance of knocking her out. Standing on one knee and facing her opponent, she inhaled as sharply as possible simultaneously through her nostrils and mouth. At the same moment, she felt as if she had received an injection of adrenaline into her heart. It was a dangerous breathing technique that allows you to get a short term boost of energy, even though you will have to pay a price for it afterwards.

She rushed to Phoebe. She knew that the sudden rush of oxygen in her blood gave her no more than three seconds, but she was sure that it would be enough. By closing the distance, she hoped to catch the American woman off guard. The Black Crow intended to pull her right hand back and clench her fist. Lily's amber eyes flashed at the moment when, using literally all her amazing speed, she threw her right hand forward and up, aiming her fist directly at Phoebe's chin. Some would say it's just a quick wide uppercut, but Lily gave it a much more literary name, the crow's peck!

Phoebe measured everything up. This final shot would’ve been more than enough to knock her opponent out in this fast paced match.

…but Lily was stubborn. The moment the Detective swung for the fences, the Black Crow would roll to the side, dodging her attack!

”CRAP!”

Quietly cursing under her breath, Phoebe tried to quickly rotate to face Lily, but right as she did, her foe was already rising up with her attack in tow. Phoebe would turn right into Lily’s fist as she uppercutted her across the jaw!

The Detective was sent flying with the punch. As Phoebe laid on the canvas on her back, her vision was flickering, and she herself was rapidly blinking, as if instinct was telling her that it would help clear out any problems with her vision. The rest of her body was unresponsive after the powerful punch, save for a little bit of movement in her digits!

It was tough, but beautiful. Physics cannot be fooled, speed plays the most important role in the force of impact. Lily had truly incredible speed and therefore her punch was so powerful that it literally knocked her opponent on her back. The arena was silent for a few moments, and then the audience roared.

"Pha... pha..." the brunette was breathing heavily.

Besides her speed, Lily also possessed impressive stamina. But she did not expect that a high speed match would be such a serious challenge for her. She was already feeling tired. And when she took a step towards her rival, the Englishwoman winced in pain and pressed her right hand to her heart.

"Consequences..." sounded in her head.

The breathing technique she had used a moment ago was dangerous because so much sudden rush of oxygen was far from the best thing for a tired body. Nevertheless, the Black Crow bent down in order to first grab her opponent's hand, and then with one confident movement lift her to her feet.

Taking advantage of Phoebe's weakened state, Lily intended to step behind her rival's back, while simultaneously wrapping her arms around the American woman's waist. Clinging to her back as tightly as possible, Lily intended to lean back sharply in order to drive her opponent's body into the mat with the help of a German suplex. However, if successful, she would not have stopped.

Pushing off the mat, she was going to roll back with her opponent and get back on her feet for another German suplex. The audience was aware of this movement and therefore they roared at Lily's intentions to go to the third German suplex, thereby completing her signature move, which was called the crow's rustle. If everything had gone smoothly, she would not have let go of Phoebe, continuing to hold her by the waist to let the referee know that it was time for the pin.

Slowly, feeling returned to Phoebe’s limbs. She could move her arm, she could move her leg… but not much else, and certainly not get up at the moment. She attempted to stir, attempted to sit up, but her body was resisting any difficult movements.

That was not good enough for Lily, however, as she forced the American on her feet, seizing her from the back, and wrapping her arms around her waist, proceeding to slam against the canvas with a classic German Suplex…

”AAAGH!!!”

…but she would not let go, forcing Phoebe back to her feet once more…

”MMMGH!!!”

And doing so one last time!!!

”GYAAAAAH!!!”

Lily kept Phoebe’s shoulders pinned against the canvas, the referee proceeding to count the pin!

”ONE!”

“TWO!”

“TH—-NO!!!”

Once more, Phoebe would kick out barely in time, throwing her feet up into the air, managing to beat the count!
