[Standard Match] Margarita Jorgensen vs Lucy Lincoln (D) - The price for popularity

The domino effect. Perhaps this is the best description of everything that happened to Margarita after she entered the ring today. After Lucy's first sneaky attack, the Danish girl just turned into a whipping toy. Her opponent literally did not give her the opportunity to fight back, continuing to shower her with new attacks.

Lying on the mat, the Sea Star felt so weak that she wanted to cry. However, if life has taught her anything, it's that you can't show others your weakness. If she allowed herself to cry, it would be a great joy for Lucy and a great sadness for the audience. No, she couldn't let them down. Not like that.

"Ghhh..." she groaned painfully the moment Lucy grabbed her.

Continuing to mock Margarita, the American girl lifted her over the mat, holding her in a horizontal position with the arms. Demonstrating her leadership, Lucy was in no hurry to complete the movement immediately, instead stomping hard on the mat several times and making it clear that she intended to aggravate the situation of the Sea Star. She was definitely confident that everything was under her control. She had her reasons, but...

Margarita's body was already filled with pain, but she understood that if everything continued like this, she would lose even the slightest chance to show at least something in this match. That thought hit her harder than any of Lucy's attacks. That's not what she wanted. She wanted to show the audience that you don't have to be a coward who attacks stealthily to win.

Biting her lower lip in order to concentrate the pain in one place, the Sea Star intended to straighten her left arm, and then move it back in order to hit Lucy in the head with a back elbow strike. And for safety, she intended to use another back elbow strike in the hope that the strength of her muscular arms would be enough to upset her opponent's balance. After all, in this case, it is unlikely that Lucy would have been able to prevent Margarita from twitching her legs and thereby escape from the grip of the American girl, landing with her feet on the mat in front of the other pink-haired girl.

"And here we g---OW! OWWWWW!"

The moment Lucy tried to "release" her foe, the fellow pinkette would suddenly nail her elbows across her jaw! The first one already managed to daze the American pinkette, but the second one actually made her lose balance for an instant, forcing Lucy to release Margarita!

She desperately tried to stay on her feet but barely managed to do so. Even then, the world was swimming in her eyes: "You...damn..."

Lucy wanted to stay on top, and as such, tried to swing her fist into the actress... but with her vision unsteady, there was little chance of the punch finding it's mark!

When Margarita's feet touched the mat, the pink-haired girl was incredibly relieved. For the first time since the bell rang, she was able to fight back against Lucy and not let her continue the beating. However, all this was not enough. She hit the American girl twice in the jaw, but although it made Lucy both let go and stumble back, the other pink-haired girl still had the desire to maintain control of the match.

She loudly informed the former actress about this, first cursing in her direction, and then rushing at her with the clenched fist. At that moment, Margarita exhaled loudly, clenching her own fists again. She had been preparing for such moments and now all the training she had gone through was supposed to help her defeat this dishonest girl.

Instead of trying to create a distance between them, the Sea Star took a step forward of her own while leaning down. Thanks to this, Lucy's fist passed over her head. Filling her lungs with air, the Danish girl intended to throw her right arm forward and up in order to take advantage of her opponent's unsuccessful attack and hit Lucy in the solar plexus with a hard right uppercut!

"Success is just the foundation for a bigger success!" She reminded herself mentally.

She hoped that the strength of her muscular arms would be enough to knock the air out of Lucy and stun her. If this were really the case, Margarita would have hurried to grab her opponent's head with her right arm, thereby closing her in a simple front facelock hold! She intended to raise her left hand above her head and stick out her index finger in order to get the support of the audience, and then abruptly lean back to drive Lucy's head into the mat with a classic DDT!

"Mgh!", Lucy grunted out as her wild punch missed. At first, she was simply frustrated at missing, before realizing that there was a much worse issue - she was completely open to Margarita's next attack!

Lucy's wild darted wildly in a span of what seemed to be a millisecond, trying to guess where the attack was going to come from, until...

"GUUUAGH!!!"

Margarita's fist shot into her, the uppercut landing perfectly into the middle of her body! Lucy covered the hurt spot with both hands, trying to start breathing again... but despite her mouth being agape, no air was flowing in...

Stunned, this allowed Margarita to not only seize Lucy's head, but to also do a little showcase for the public, showing off as she lifted her finger into the air. But, with Lucy still stunned, she had plenty of time to then drop straight onto her back, driving her foe's head into the ground for a DDT!

Lucy, still breathless, collapsed into a heap, her vision spinning after a skull-shattering move like this...

Clearly inspired by the fact that she was finally able to get out of the whirlwind of failures, Margarita was not going to stop. After depriving her opponent of the opportunity to breathe, she called on the audience to support her, and then leaned back, driving Lucy's head hard into the mat. Once on her back, the Sea Star really wanted to spend at least a little time resting, but logic and experience told her that she should not do this.

Therefore, the former actress quickly took a sitting position. Despite the fact that not too much time had actually passed since the start of the match, her body was covered with bruises in many places, not to mention the fact that large drops of sweat were rolling down her slightly pale skin. Nevertheless, the Danish girl's face showed that she was damn determined.

Grabbing the American girl by the head, Margarita intended to get to her feet, and then abruptly turn her back on Lucy, still holding the head of the other pink-haired girl. The Sea Star intended to jerk Lucy sharply down and, with a simple snapmare not only make her head spin but also force her into a sitting position.

"And now..." she thought.

If she had succeeded, she would have run to the far ropes without hesitation in order to bounce off them and gain even more speed. Approaching Lucy like a high-speed train, the Sea Star intended to swing her right leg to test the American girl's skull for strength with a football kick!

Lucy's vision spun after the DDT, the pinkette unable to even think straight of what her next move was going to be, much less trying to predict what Margarita had in mind. She found herself being forced onto her feet... before being tossed forward, Margarita doing no favour to Lucy's already dazed state, sitting helplessly after the Snapmare...

As Lucy's vision became clearer, she saw the Sea Star rushing straight for her... with her leg raised and posed to strike for her head!

"!!!"

Reacting instinctively, Lucy brought her arms up, barely managing to block the kick in time!

"What do you think you are doing?! Are you trying to kill me?!", Lucy complained trying to get up and think of her next plan of attack before Margarita struck again!

Considering everything that had happened since the bell rang, Margarita knew she had to catch up. The uppercut and DDT gave her the opportunity, but it was clearly not enough. Therefore, instead of resting, the former actress decided to spend time trying to equalize the chances of winning with her rival.

Having placed Lucy in the position she needed, the Danish girl ran like a pink lightning bolt to the far ropes. She felt pain all over her body thanks to her rival's efforts, but at that moment she was encouraged by the little success she had achieved. This helped her overcome the pain and, taking even more speed, send a kick to Lucy's head.

Disappointment.

It was the best word to describe what the Sea Star felt at the moment when the other pink-haired girl raised her arms up, blocking the kick. It seemed that all Margarita's efforts were in vain. Lucy not only didn't roll back, but she didn't even scream as if her arms were made of titanium.

"Damn..." the former actress muttered to herself, literally unable to believe that right now her rival just started to get to her feet.

Refusing to accept this state of affairs, Margarita took a quick step forward, throwing up her left leg, bent at the knee. She intended to straighten that leg quickly in a second attempt to ram Lucy's head, this time with a superkick.

As Lucy got back up, she hissed as her arms stung after Margarita’s strike. She might’ve blocked the attack, but it didn’t mean that her fellow pinkette didn’t want to knock the holy hell out of the Hammer, so Lucy rushed up back to her feet…

…and the moment she was back up, swiftly realize how much trouble she was in. Maybe Margarita failed with the soccer kick, but now, Margarita’s leg was quickly approaching, and Lucy couldn’t do anything about it.

”GGGWUUUUUHHH!!!”

The Super Kick would nail the Hammer squarely in the jaw! For a moment, Lucy remained standing… but her eyes were glazed over as she quickly lost footing, dropping down onto her back!

It was no secret that Margarita is a very active and open girl who never holds back emotions. Because of this, she often acted under their influence, which led her to trouble more than once. The moment Lucy blocked her kick, the Sea Star felt bitterness in her mouth. She didn't want to put up with this setback, so she let her emotions run wild and hurried to attack again.

This time, fortunately, Lady Luck was on her side.

The other pink-haired girl did not have time to react. When Lucy got to her feet, Margarita's foot was already approaching her face like a cannonball. At the moment of the collision a deafening click rolled through the arena, which caused many spectators to gasp loudly.

Oh. It was like a scene from a real action movie. For a few more seconds, the American girl remained on her feet, but her eyes were glassy. A sure sign that the Sea Star's kick had disrupted all possible brain functions. And when Lucy's body fully realized all the consequences, the pink-haired girl collapsed on her back without any hint of movement. After such success, Margarita wanted to start dancing, but instead raised her right hand above her head, stuck out her index finger and filled her lungs with air to the maximum.

"YOSSHAAAAAA!!!!!!" She shouted, not sparing her voice.

Under the cheers of the audience, the Sea Star pushed off from the mat with force and rushed to the nearest ropes. Her bruised and sweaty body continued to ache, but at that moment she was so inspired that she just didn't care about it. Two steps away from the ropes, she jumped forward sharply, placing her feet on the middle rope. She intended to use it as a springboard to soar into the air while doing a backflip. Wanting to consolidate her success, she was going to collapse with her whole body on Lucy's chest with the help of a mesmerizing springboard moonsault!

For a couple of seconds, Lucy was legitimately knocked out. Her vision darkened, and by the time she woke up, she was down on the floor, not knowing how much time had passed from the kick, though the lack of her rival's music thankfully confirmed that she wasn't put down for the 3 just yet.

Unfortunately for her, the moment she came to, she saw Margarita's pink frame come into view, with no part of her body reacting as she landed on top of the American pinkette!

"GWUUUUUUH!", Lucy let out while underneath Margarita, the momentum of the match completely switching in Sea Star's favor!
