Alice Gaster vs Kyo Akamatsu

Kyo saw Alice smirk, and smiled back at her as he returned to his feet. Around them, the audience cheered as the two wrestlers went right back at it, having already demonstrated they were well-matched in the technical department.

With a blur of motion, Alice sent a jab whistling towards Kyo's face. Kyo's countering game was on point, and he would try to bring one arm up under Alice's fist, trying to deflect the punch out of the way, before spinning with the motion, trying to use his other arm to deliver a forearm chop to the side of her head-- a blow meant to sting and possibly stun her, but also give her a demonstration of his defensive skill.

Kyo would prove his striking striking prowess as well, as he successfully checked Alice's punch, deflecting her fist! Right as Alice wanted to go for a follow up, a punch to her rival's gut, Kyo would pivot to the side, chopping at the side of Alice's head!

"AAH!", Alice let out, stepping away from Kyo, holding her head as she heard ringing in her ears, stunned for the moment unable to do anything, completely open for a follow up attack from her rival!

Kyo's counter worked like a charm, the sharp edge of his palm striking against the British tomboy's head and sending her staggering away, momentarily stunned. He knew, of course, that she wasn't going to stay stunned for long, so it was now time to go on the offensive and strike at Alice while she was vulnerable.

Breaking into a run, Kyo would rush towards the nearest rope and bounce off; rebounding hard, he would run right back at Alice, aiming to nail her with a forceful lariat and hopefully knock her down to the mat!

With Alice dazed from cross, her vision would be blurred, as she tried to tell what Kyo was doing...only for her to come to once his forearm was right at her face, leaving her no time to react!

"GAAAAAGH!!!", Alice cried as she hit the mat, the ring shaking from the impact, the Pale Rider groaning as the match started firmly in Kyo's favour!

Kyo's heart was racing as his lariat connected, knocking his lighter foe to the mat in a daze. A part of him was tempted to go for a pinfall, here and now, but he knew that it was still far too early in the match, and that Alice would most likely kick out. So instead, he decided to keep hammering away at her, to keep her on the defensive to set up the groundwork for a future pinfall.

With this in mind, Kyo would grab onto Alice's arm, hoping to yank her up to her feet and not allow her time to recover. Sliding around behind her, he would try to lock his arms behind hers, pressing his palms behind her head and, for a few seconds, stretching her arms painfully in a hammerlock...before then arching backwards, hoping to drive her into the mat with a quick and effective suplex!

As Alice laid dazed from the hard Lariat, Kyo would choose to not pin her, instead getting her back up to her feet and trapping her arms behind her back, stretching them out painfully…

Before Alice could use her legs to ram them into her rival’s abdomen, Kyo would suddenly lift her up into the air! Not looking to have her back slammed painfully into the ground, the Pale Rider timed her moment just right in order to ram her knee into Kyo’s head in mid-air, trying to block the Suplex attempt!

Given Alice's lighter build and frame, it wasn't hard for Kyo to lift her up, aiming to arch back and drive her back-first into the mat with a devastating suplex. However, even as he did this, Alice used her lighter frame and flexibility to her advantage, twisting her body backwards in his grip...just enough to drive a knee up into Kyo's unprotected face!

"GUH!" Kyo grunted, stars exploding across his vision, forcing him to release Alice as he staggered back, dazed by her unexpected counter attack...

With Kyo dazed, Alice managed to successfully land back onto her feet, stepping backwards to try and keep her balance...but a moment later, she would be on the attack, rushing straight for Kyo! Jumping into the air, Alice would quickly wrap her arm around Kyo's head, trying to drive his head down into the canvas for a Jumping DDT!

Kyo blinked furiously, trying to clear away his spinning vision after taking Alice's knee directly to his skull. He fought to retain his balance, staggering back a little. He knew all too well how, sometimes, the space of one or two seconds could makes a massive difference in a wrestling match, one that a canny opponent could take advantage of.

Alice was quick to prove him right; now sooner had Kyo forced hsi eyes open again than the English girl came lunging at him, wrapping an arm around his head. Gravity suddenly kicked in at that point, and Kyo toppled backwards, slamming back first against the mat with a groan!

Alice would start to deliver damage to Kyo as much as she could, trying to overwhelm her rival before he knew what hit him! The Pale Rider would hop back to her feet with a Kip Up after her DDT, grabbing her rival's head as she tried to pull him up to a seat, before rushing for the ropes, and running back to Kyo with an outstretched arm, trying to ram it into his head for a hard Sliding Lariat!
