Toshiko Ito vs. Vera Sapphire

Toshiko glared down at Vera as the chop echoed out louder than the last. The crowd collectively shouting after hearing it echo, and the mark on Sapphire's chest was more than a big enough testament to how much it hurt, as if her expression didn't show it enough. Ito was more than satisfied with her handiwork, letting that chop settle before she grabbed hold of Vera's head and then yanked her abruptly into a sitting position.

Then, the Twilight Edge would perform a spin in place and then throw a kick directly towards her opponent's chest, hoping to keep working on her sternum and continue to make it hard for her to breathe. She had zeroed in on a target, and she was going to continue attacking it until Sapphire was more and more beaten.

Vera hissed as Toshiko grabbed at her blue hair, forcing her to sit up...before the masked woman started kicking her in the chest, again and again, eliciting a grunt from the Russian Beauty each time...

Until finally, Vera would have enough. Fighting through the pain, she grabbed at her rival's leg as she tried to pull it back for another strike, standing up with it in tow...

...before she grabbed the second leg, lifting Toshiko and turning her in midair, before dropping her straight onto her back with a Spinebuster!

Toshiko Ito was not being gentle with her kicks. Sending stiff kick after stiff kick straight to the sternum, trying to completely stunt the breathing of Vera Sapphire. She was confident that she could strike her as many times as she could and Vera wouldn't be able to fight back, content to keep going until she nearly caved in Vera's chest cavity. Then, suddenly, her leg was captured. The Japanese striker looked like she took exception to that, narrowing her gaze at Vera and trying to tug away her limb as Sapphire stood.

And then Toshiko went up and spinning until she was planted into the mat with a big Spinebuster! Ito's body shook as she arched her back, the pain riding up her body from the impact as she laid in front of her opponent. She was certainly not in any condition to fight back right now after such a massive slam that left her back stinging still. At the very least, Vera had stopped the brutal striking from Toshiko for now.

"Guuuuuugh...", Vera groaned, rubbing her sore, now reddened chest after Toshikio's vicious attacks. She could still breathe...but already, this early on in the encounter, she felt very short of breath.

She had to keep on the offense tocmake sure Toshiko couldn't wear her down any more than she already did. Grabbing the woman by her ponytail, Vera would wrap her arm around her rival's head and grab at her hotpants, lifting her rival up into the air to once again bring her down to the floor with a Vertical Suplex!

Toshiko's back was still in pain, but she knew she could bounce back from this if she had another moment to recover or could cut off Vera before she followed up. Surprisingly, Sapphire had grabbed her ponytail, making her let out a brief cry of pain from the surprise of it. A dirty move, and one that Toshiko would surely remember. Clutching for Vera's wrists, shy tried to pry them away as she was being forced up. And then, suddenly, she was hoisted up into the air, and then Ito was dropped back in a Vertical Suplex, sending another surge of pain ripping through her spine as she practically bounced off the mat on impact!

Holding her back, Toshiko scooted around, keeping an arm on her hurt spine as she groaned out in pain. Eyes clenched tight, she was actually scooting towards the ropes, trying to get herself to a safer area of the ring as she tried to cope with the pain before rocking to her side. Another attack on her back was leaving her struggling, and less sure she would be able to bounce back immediately. But Toshiko would try to find her opening yet.

After the ring shaking suplex, Toshiko would roll to the ropes all the while Vera already managed to stand up, smirking at her rival, in spite of her own body hurting.

Vera would approach Toshiko, grabbing her by her legs to try and drag her away from the ropes, before trying to turn her rival onto her stomach in order to lock her into a Boston Crab in the middle of the ring! Vera knew her attack was far from enough to get a tap out from her martial artist of a rival...but she knew she could at least work over her spine!

Toshiko was hoping to just recover close to the ropes to try recovering. Vera wasn't going to let her advantage go off without a follow up though, and Ito found that out when her legs were being grabbed. She tried to reach for the rope, but after getting one hand on the bottom rope, it instantly slipped through her fingers as she got pulled closer to the middle of the ring! Toshiko twisted and moved her body against the attempts to roll her over. She had some success at first, despite it wearing on her back, but ultimately Sapphire was successful.

Letting out a soft groan of pain, Toshiko Ito pushed her front off the mat, clenching her fists as she coped with the pain of the Boston Crab. Taking a few measured breaths, nostrils flaring as she built up her strength, she would begin to crawl right back towards the rope she was at before. It was clear that all Vera wanted was to keep wearing down her spine, so she knew she had to escape before it got that bad. She pulled herself forward, slowly inching towards the ropes before she was able to get one hand to grasp the bottom rope, forcing a rope break, but not without the cost of her back hurting even more.

Despite some difficulty, Vera would successfully lock in the Boston Crab, trapping Toshiko in the hold, and forcing her rival’s spine into a C shape!

”Huhuhu…you better move your cute butt if you want to escape, Tosh!”, Vera lightly mocked her rival, positive that despite her being friendly in her banter, she’d annoy her to no end as she slowly, but surely, got to the ropes, and grabbed the bottom one for a break.

Vera obliged the break quickly, even letting Toshiko recover…but not before sending another air kiss her way, taunting her rival!

After getting her hand on the rope, Toshiko Ito waited for her to be released. Meanwhile, she was glowering behind her mask, looking far more angry now than she had been through this match. That taunting. Pointing out her cute butt. Tosh. It wasn't any sort of wrestling maneuvers that set Toshiko off. It was normally the little things. Perceived disrespect. She was never to be disrespected in such a way.

So Toshiko looked back just in time to see a kiss blown her way. Keeping one hand on her back, the pain in her spine being slowly tucked down by the billowing anger inside her, Ito stood up and then stomped towards Vera. "You will cease," demanded Toshiko, staring daggers and hellfire into her opponent.

And then suddenly, she stepped forward quickly planting her foot and going for a high roundhouse kick, aiming to hit her high in the head. Toshiko wouldn't stop there. She would then follow through with the kick, spinning and coming back and firing a palm strike towards Sapphire's midsection. And then she'd leap and rise with a rising knee, then extend her leg with a thrust kick. She was fired up, putting herself back on the attack. For now, despite the pain in her back, Toshiko was being fueled by the desire to shut up Vera and beat the respect into her.

It felt slightly mean, but Vera was just showing appreciation of Toshiko in her own way. Cutesy nicknames and lewd compliments were just who she was. She could tell Toshiko had a much different view of the world than she did, and remarks and banter like the ones Vera did weren’t something she enjoyed. Vera typically tried not to make enemies of her rivals, wanting to be beloved by all…but Toshiko was just too cute to tease for her…

However, this did make the blue-clad Marital artist very angry with her, as she stomped and got into Vera’s face, demanding she stop, Vera raising her eyes…before Toshiko would deliver a hard Roundhouse Kick to Vera’s head! Before the blunette could even scream, Toshiko spun and drove her palm into Vera’s stomach, before ending the combo with a knee into a thrust kick, flooring the Russian as she laid on the floor staring at the lights!
