Clara GASTER vs Katherine Scarlett

Kay rolled her shoulders, a look of discomfort upon her face as she was still feeling the post effects of the submissions. Clara was taking control of this match now, her expert wrestling skills beginning to prevail over Kay's remarkable toughness. Though Kay was doing well to scramble out of the holds, it was through more sheer determination and outright toughness, which in on itself was a taxing affair. There was a lot of wasted energy, something Clara was no doubt relying on as the professional beauty of a wrestler showed her intelligent way of fighting.

Kay for all her unreal stamina could not keep up such a pace. Eventually she was going to become too tired and simply trapped in one of Clara's holds. She looked to keep the fight to her own advantage, wanting to keep things standing where she could rely on her own strikes.
"I can do this all day." Kay would speak out between bated breaths. By now her alluring form was glistening with sweat from the long struggle, and slowly she raised her guard. Much to her surprise however, Clara would take the fight to her, launching herself forward with a strike when Kay was anticipating another grapple.

It caught her good, making her head reel back... but the fight game belonged to Kay. She was quick to shoot back, sending a solid fist towards Clara's stomach. Normally such a strike from Drifter was capable of dropping even heavyweights, such was her gift... but Clara's previous work had paid off, and though a sharp sting still came with the strike... it was significantly weaker then before! Kay eased back, wiping her jaw, rolling her shoulders.... Her expression was one of determination... but it was obvious she was hurting. Clara knew Drifter was there for the taking...

Clara could tell she was getting at Kay...though she doubted she would give up. She had to focus on trying to pin her for good...as the blunette did show signs of slowing down. The Shadow Lord was dictating the pace of the match and Kay was trying to catch up...but it was time to try and strike her girlfriend in order to pin her to the canvas for good:

"Are you sure?", Clara said, breathing on a fastened pace, feeling the sweat rolling down her body, as she stepped towards Kay to punch her in her face...with Kay returning the favour!

Even weakened, the punch was painful, as Clara roughly exhaled air...as Kay stood back, trying to appear tough...but Clara would be immediately onto her, only focusing on stunning Kay, stepping forward to try and turn and launch her foot towards her jaw, trying to Superkick her girlfriend!

Kay looked to move in and take advantage of Clara's positioning, but it turned out to be a mistake! All at once, Clara turned and launched her foot upwards towards the bluenette, managing to catch her right under the chin with a superkick! The crowd gasped out loud as it looked as brutal as it sounded. Kay's head whipped back, as sweat flew from her head from the impact of the strike. Against most on the roster, it would be been a knockout blow... but a testament to the endurance and fortitude of Kay, it was clear she was still very much in the fight.

That was not to say that the blow was ineffective, it turned out to be quite the opposite. Kay was merely still conscious, as the super kick rocked her still, making her fall onto her back. She favoured her jaw, a groan escaping from her lips. If it was Clara's intent to stun Kay, then her plan and strike had worked to perfection, with her girlfriend left in a dazed state as she struggled to try and shift to her feet.

The Super Kick rocked Kay...but from one last look into her girlfriend's eyes right before she fell, she knew she wasn't done! She had to put Kay away with her finishing move!

She ran towards Kay, grabbing her head to get her up to her feet...before trapping it under her arm, forcing Kay to look up at the lights:

"It's done...", Clara would say ahead of time, as she tried to lift her girlfriend towards her finishing Shadow's End, trying to lift her up to drill her head with the momentum of her fall right onto the canvas below!

Kay could do little, gasping out as GASTER went to work the moment she landed the impressive superkick! The crowd were on their feet, seeing that Clara was looking for the finish right here and now! Drifter tried to fight, but she was still off her guard, rocked from the kick as her guard was not good enough against Clara's approach. She gasped out, her head getting grasped before she was pulled into Clara, who swiftly twisted her form to have her face upwards whilst securing her arm in the process.

Drifter tried to writhe and fight, knowing full well what was coming next... but it was too late! With a thunderous impact, Clara was able to drill Kay with impressive momentum, landing the Shadow's End much to the delight of the crowd! There was no clear cut favourite between the two wrestlers, but seeing Clara hit her finisher always earned a massive pop from the crowd. Kay went limp a second after the impact, her eyes softly closed as she looked to be out of it. It had to be it... after both wrestlers had been giving it their all, it looked like Clara had finally prevailed, needing only to go for the cover to end the match once and for all.

Clara actually sat up, shocked at delivering her finisher to Kay. It didn’t…feel right. She looked at Kay as she softly closed her eyes. The Drifter seemed completely out of it, as crowd cheered for seeing Clara’s finisher.

”Is it…really over…?”, Clara asked out loud, as she slid her body over Kay’s, hooking her leg firmly as she tried to pin her for the count of 3.

”ONE!”, the ref’s hand hit the canvas once…

The crowd were on their feet as Clara went for the cover. There was barely a second passed before the referee rushed over, sliding along the mat to position herself besides the fallen Drifter and Clara who now had a leg hooked and a pin attempt as clear as anything. The crowd began to count out with the referee, a massive ONE booming from the audience as the first slap of the hand came down against the mat.

With a rise of the arm, the referee soon managed the second count of the match, the crowd all rising to their feet, all screaming TWO in unison to the collision of palm against ring surface. Clara remained in position, bringing words to thought, beginning to believe that this match was finally over. Despite her conflictions pinning her lover, this match could only end one way.

THREE!!

The crowd would shout out as the referee's hand came down. Instead of massive cheering however, there was absolute confusion amongst those watching. Despite the call of the crowd, the referee would hold up her hand... two fingers held aloft. It was only now that they could see that Drifter had raised her shoulder at the last possible moment, a last gasp when it almost looked like the referee had reached the three count.

Drifter looked in bad shape, breathing deeply, her body twisted and her leg kicked from Clara's grip. Her body glistened with sweat, her mouth agape and her hair hanging over her eyes in an unkempt manner... but it was as clear as day. Drifter had flicked out. This match.... it was not over... not yet! Realising this, the crowd could not help but muster support from Drifter, seeing her gather energy from nowhere... just enough to keep her in the game! It was turning into a match of legend!

"W.... we're... we're not finished... just yet..." Drifter would whisper to Clara, before she looked to use one of her legs to shove her away from her own form.

The ref screamed out 3, and for a millisecond, Clara believed it was over…but no. She felt the vibration of ref’s hand just a millisecond, the smallest possible moment after she felt Kay’s body twitch, her shoulder raised into the air. Even the bellkeeper almost brought his hammer onto the bell, ready to call the match, seeing the ref’s aggressive motion for 2.

The ref even told Clara that, in fears she would be confused, but the Brit simply nodded. She understood the situation.

And what she needed to do to end this encounter.

The crowd cheered at Drifter barely managing to kick out of Clara’s finishing Shadow’s End, the move that Clara perfected in the time while she was away, barely needing her newer Destiny’s End finisher…but Clara knew that her reliable finisher for years wouldn’t have been enough in some cases…and this was one of them, one for someone as tough as her girlfriend was.

”Not quite yet…but soon…soon we’ll be finished…”, Clara let out, grabbing Kay’s head to try and lift the Drifter back up to her feet to stand alongside her…as Clara put the blunette Canadian’s head under her arm, and lifted her up…and left her in midair. The crowd waited in anticipation as to what Clara’s next move was…but for a moment, Clara paused, getting ready to execute her newest finisher!

Given she was still suffering from the impact of a signature move of Clara's, Kay offered little resistance, doing all she could just to keep in the fight and stay conscious. As such, Clara was able to take advantage. Grasping the bluenette, Kay gasped out loud as Clara was able to grasp and hoist her upwards, showing impressive strength despite how long the match had been going. Clara was undeniably one of the best in the lightweight division, and given the list of giants she had slain in the LAW considering her weight class, she was without a doubt one of the most recognisable and amongst the best the federation had to offer.

Drifter was discovering this first hand, and with an impressive hoist, Kay was lifted upwards into the air, held in a suplex like position and suspended upside down. Clara began to shift her, no doubt going for something massive... something Kay knew would be the end of her if it landed. Fortunately, despite how impressive the lift was, fatigue was edging in, and Clara had over compensated by putting too much effort into the lift. There was a little bit of misbalance... and Kay took all the advantage she could by throwing her body into that lack of balance. The result meant that she was able to slip out of Clara's grasp just as she was adjusting her, ready for the drop.

By a small amount of skill and a lot of fortune, Kay was able to drop behind Clara. Her legs near collapsed; her body exhausted, but despite the less than graceful landing, Kay kept her feet before she grasped at Clara's arm from behind. Using methods and technique that her very opponent had taught her, Kay twisted her arm, shifting herself under it before pulling back to leave both of their joined arms outstretched... it was then Kay pulled hard, looking to bring Clara in, before she caught her across her chest and shoulder with an arm!

Given the momentum of Clara being pulled towards her and being caught sent her form upwards, before Drifter dropped down with her, executing a Nomad Slam seemingly from nowhere! The crowd went into a fit, seeing another finisher in fast succession. Despite the ailments, and her body screaming complaints at her even when she so much as breathed, the Drifter wasted no time, sliding her form onto Clara's, looking to initiate a pinfall against her lover... her mind still reeling from getting hit with the Shadow's End... her body moving on instinct over rational thought. The referee wasted no time, sliding her form before her hand came down for the first count!

"ONE!"...

Clara tried to keep control of the position. She had to keep Kay just right in order to execute the hold properly, needing to get the maximum effectiveness out of the move...

...however, it seemed like Clara was taking far too long to set up the move, as Kay pushed her body forwards, dropping herself right onto her feet behind Clara! Despite the rough landing, Kay would quickly get to work, grabbing at Clara's arm from behind and twisting Clara around, forcibly bringing her into the cute brawler's arms...as she twisted her around and drove her back-first into the canvas with her signature Nomad Slam!

"AAAAAAGHHH!!!"

The fatigue finally settled in Clara's body, Kay pinning her swiftly as the ref went to try and count the Brit out!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE! NO!"

The bellkeeper was ready to sound the bell once more, but the ref swiftly threw out 2 on both her hands! Clara barely kicked out of her lover's finishing move, barely managing to collect her strength in time before she was counted out:

"I...agh...didn't mean...I'll be finished...aauugh...", Clara joked to Kay, trying to lift herself up to a sit at least with one arm, the other one being on the small of her back...
