Alyssa Monroe Vs. GASTER

[Devastated]

Alyssa and GASTER both started to rise up towards their feet, there was a tense moment between the two as they exchanged words, Alyssa could tell already that this foolish masked 'shadow lord' wasn't someone to take lightly. Considering she had almost gotten a win from that surprise roll-up. No, she was going to have to be careful.

The world fell silent around them as both got up to their feet and stared each other down. The two British fighters, the brute and the chuuni looked finally ready to start things up and it was the yellow and black clad one who stepped forward and threw a nasty forearm straight onto the blonde's jawline! " Urgh!" Alyssa grunted out as her head snapped to the side, yet...she was quick to bring back a blow of her own.

Returning the favor to GASTER, Alyssa aimed a forearm strike of her own straight to that masked face! If this little 'shadow lord' wanted to brawl then Alyssa would more than simply oblige her. She'd beat her down!

Things were getting more and more heated between the 2 British lightweights, both of them trash talking each other, as they stood face to face, right before GASTER unleashed a hard forearm across her opponent's jaw, crowd reacting with an incredibly positive: "YAAAAAAAAY!"

Clara herself was taken by the moment, smirking under her mask as Alyssa's head snapped to the side upon the impact...

...that wouldn't last long, as Alyssa herself unleashed a hard strike of her own, to the: "BOOOOOO", from the crowd!

"AAAGH!", not only GASTER's head turned to side, but the girl's body twisted in recoil at the hit as well, the blonde's strike showing to be much stronger on the raven-haired chuuni! Turning to face Alyssa, and meet her gaze, once more, GASTER attempted to ram her knee into the girl's gut!

[Devastated]

Alyssa's punch hit true, it was a true strike that smacked GASTER's head to the side and watched the young fellow Brit's body recoil and twist from the impact. Clearly there was a difference in power to those strikes, while GASTER's punch had hurt, it didn't pack the same wallop that Alyssa's did. Maybe it came from having a slightly bigger frame, she did also have a bit of a reach advantage, especially with her longer limbs.

Or maybe her advantage came from the fact that she was simply a better striker than GASTER. Should that be the case then Alyssa already figured where this match would end up. She watched GASTER like a hawk watching it's prey and she saw as the raven haired Chuuni swung around and met her gaze, she saw her push forward with that frame and smirked.

There it was, recklessness. There was usually three ways that one responded when they were met with the feeling of being outmatched in an area. Either you backed away and played it safe, trying to regroup and find a away to win it out by being careful and precise. Or you switched things up, changed tactic completely, maybe start going for a take down....then there was the final way....recklessness, throwing yourself head first into it with everything you had.

Alyssa's wicked smile grew wider as she slid back her leg and turned to the side, side stepping that knee strike as she would throw up her right hook aimed straight at the back of GASTER's head as she stepped in beside the raven haired masked warrior. Aiming a swift knuckle sandwich at the back of the 'Shadow lord's' head.

To a wrestling fan watching the match, the difference in 2 strikes was obvious. GASTER was, sadly, weaker than her foe, unable to pack as much strength behind her attack as she did...

...still, the chuuni didn't give up, trying to go for a different, albeit reckless attack in the spur of the moment, as she tried to ram her knee into her foe's stomach, unwilling to run away from the strike exchange and rethink her plan carefully...

...the latter would be her downfall, as Alyssa easily telegraphed her attack, and side stepped to the side of the Shadow Lord...

A gasp escaped Clara's mouth as she realized her knee's intended target escaped...

...a second, much louder gasp escaped her lips a moment later, as she felt a hard punch at the back of her head...

The punch was strong enough to force the Shadow Lord to drop forwards, as the raven-haired Brit barely managed to catch herself in her fall. In the aftermath of the attack, she saw doubles...triples of the digits on her arm, as Alyssa's attack successfully managed to daze her opponent...

Alyssa had her wicked and wide smirk on her face as she side stepped the rushing yellow and black clad girl, watching her sail past her and land in an unsteady position on her feet, which was right when Alyssa's brutal blow struck the back of her head and sent the raven haired Brit down onto her front, she managed to catch herself with her hands and knee, but that didn't matter.

The blonde could tell, GASTER was dazed and confused, disoriented by the brutal blow...but there was one thing that was sure. The crowd's reaction to that blow was not a happy one as a loud chorus of boos rained down onto the squared circle. Alyssa didn't pay it any mind however, as she would try and place her boot down against the lower back of the dazed lightweight.

With a hard shove, she would try and flatten Clara against the mat as the Brutish Bruiser would then try and reach down, aiming to take a hold of GASTER's left leg with her own legs, scissoring that limb as she'd drop down slightly on top of the fellow British wrestler and try and wrap her arms in under GASTER's chin, trying to go for an early STF submission hold in this match.

"Aaaaaaghhh...", GASTER grunted, feeling her opponent pushing her down to the mat with her foot, trying to make her lay flat against the canvas from her position...

A second later, the former MMA fighter would drop on top of the raven-haired chuuni, scissoring her ankle, and wrapping her arms around her head...before she pulled on both, harshly pulling on the Shadow Lord's spine with an STF!

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!", almost immidiately, Clara forgot about the pain in the back of her head, as Alyssa threatened to rip her spine into 2 with her hold! The ref approaching her did not help her current situation one bit:

"GASTER, do you----"

"No! No! I am not giving up!", she defiantly screamed at the ref, pressing the palms of her hands and her foot harshly against the canvas of the ring, before attempting a strong push forward with her 3 untrapped limbs!

Less than a second later, she tried to do so again! Fighting through the pain, she slowly attempted to make her way towards the ropes for a rope break!

Alyssa's arms were locked firmly down in under GASTER's chin and she pulled back on the woman's neck and spine, she heard the loud cries of pain and the smirk on the blonde grew even wider. She would lean back a bit more and chuckle out as she heard the referee come in and ask that question, yet she was rudely cut off by the 'shadow lord'.

The British brute narrowed her eyes as it seemed as if she was going to have to try a bit harder. Gritting her teeth she focused on pulling back further on GASTER's spine and neck, aiming to bend the woman backwards but the raven haired Brit had already started to drag the two of them towards the ropes. " What's the matter, does it hurt?" Alyssa mockingly asked in a voice dripping with cocky confidence.

As GASTER started to get closer towards the ropes though, Alyssa began to become rather annoyed. She'd wiggle her arms forward a bit, trying to catch it right by GASTER's chin and start to wiggle the bottom of that mask up slightly. It was of course deliberate, but it might at least seem as a bit of an accident~.

Clara simply grunted at her foe's mocking question, continuing on her mission to get to the ropes. Just a short distance more, likely 4 more seconds afterwards before Alyssa released the STF, and she would be out of the hold, and would get an opportunity to fight back against the blonde!

Her foe's arms would move from her chin, decreasing some pressure on her spine from the hold, to her face...to her actual face, underneath her mask, pulling it upwards, causing it to cover her eyes!

Grunting as the world around her turned to black, if her eyes didn't deceive her just a moment ago, one good push would get her towards the ropes!

"Let...go!", she would let out, as she lunged forwards with Alyssa on top of her, grasping the bottom rope with her forearm, granting herself a rope break!

Alyssa did have to admit that she was impressed that the smaller wrestler had been able to drag them all the way towards the ropes. Though it was early in the match, so she would have been disappointed if the young fellow Brit hadn't been able to do at least that. Though Alyssa learned one thing from this...Clara was one to seek the ropes first and escape second. That was a good lesson to learn, she would smirk as she had her arms push up against the bottom of that mask.

As the young raven haired fighter let out that pained...command? Alyssa would chuckle out a bit, pulling that mask up little more and a little more, trying to clear the bottom of it up over past Clara's mouth. Yet, that was when the referee stepped in. " Hey hey! Release her!" The referee shouted out as she would start her count, even moving in to pat Alyssa's arm and signal to her to stop messing with GASTER's mask.

Alyssa clicked her tongue in a bit of a mocked annoyance, she knew that this would happen. If she wanted to unmask GASTER she'd have to do it after the match and even then it was doubtful the referee would let her.

Opting to release the raven haired girl, Alyssa would unwrap her arms and her leg from GASTER and then move up towards her feet, backing up as she would slide her thumbs into her pockets, letting her palms rest against her jeans shorts. Cocking her head to the side with a wild grin on her face. " How's it going down there?"

Although expecting someone like Alyssa to keep the hold in for that long, she didn't expect the woman to try and unmask her here and now...

Instead, not only would she "meet" the Shadow Lord's expectations, but also try to pull off her mask clean off of her, threatening to unveil her face to the whole world!

"NO, NO, STOP IT STOP IT!!!", she would scream, still not prepared for the curtain behind her Shadow Lord character to be broken...and neither were the fans, as showcased by their boos and jeers towards the action from the ex-MMA fighter...

Thankfully, the referee would intervene, stopping the blonde from both keeping in the hold, and getting GASTER's mask off of her face. Alyssa broke the hold, and GASTER got her mask back into it's proper position. Looking up at the blonde, she saw her smirking her usual grin and taunting her...

...and it started to make her angry.

She could remember the times when her mask was partially or completely removed from her face. But where as Asuka's actions were playful towards her, and Alex's were due to her temper getting out of hand (though she was still angry at her blue haired rival for that), Alyssa's acts only had malice behind them, designed solely to angry the raven haired lightweight.

Getting back to her feet, she would look at her blonde opponent with an angry gaze: "First and last warning, cagefighter...don't try this again", she would say in her high-pitched voice, as seriously as she could...

...before rushing straight at the blonde and jumping at her, feet posed straight for her foe's chest for a hard hitting dropkick!
