Overcoming Fire (Hangaku vs. Yoko)

Unread post by dlamp »

Gekokujo Match
A No-DQ Match with Pinfall Victory Only
Hangaku is banned from using Explicit Hentai/Sexual

It was usually Himeko that was with Hangaku before a match, at least when she wasn't performing in a hentai match. Usually the Princess would give her a bit of information on her opponent, some critiques on how to perform, and a bit of lighthearted banter before the match began in full. But tonight... her Princess was nowhere to be seen. And the reason was obvious.

Hangaku was furious.

Fifty million yen. Practically half her personal savings was being used as a bargaining chip for any heavyweight that wanted to throw themselves at the Bewitching Warrior and take her down to the tune half a million dollars. All so their foul, obsessive Princess could parade Hangaku as a heavy-hitter. It was sickening. To be used in such a way. Even worse was that now Hangaku had to give it her all. Losing wasn't an option, lest her family struggle for half a year. "I'm killing that brat." The words were a near snarl. "When this is all done, I'm claiming her head."

And with that dark promise made, Hangaku moved out as her theme started to kick off.

"Tonight, Senso no Hana's Gekokujo Challenge Match! Representing the Taishuya Sports Association! The Pillar of Senso no Hana! Hangaaaaaaaku! Goooozeeeeeen!"

At her announcement Hangaku appeared, red lights beaming down on her as she displayed her new attire as her theme play out in full. The attire was a Maizono Original, a black kimono top the broke down into a short skirt, a bright and flashy sash of red and yellow around her waist for some pop, dark stockings around her legs to give them some color, and completed with samurai-esque hand and foot guards for a bit of martial flair, not to mention her geisha-esque hairstyle and eyeliner give her appears just a bit more pop. The perfect amount of sensual with some martial flair for her, and something she'd have to compliment Reiko's mom on when this was all over.

And despite her early foul mood, the cheer and roar of the crowd brightened it as she gave waves and kisses to the excited crowd, moving down the ramp with a bit of exaggeration. It as an act the crowd seemed to eat right up, and just as she approached the ring she turned to give the audience one last wink before slipping inside and moving to her corner. And as she did, just as her back touched the turnbuckle, her expression shifted to a stony, dark visage. Show time to show off and play was done.

Now... it was time to see who was the first of many people hungry for a prey to eat.

It was clear to Yoko that she hit a slight snag in her career.

Her loss to Alaina lead to her being booked a lot less frequently, to the point where she had to answer an open challenge tonight. She wasn't in it for the money. No, she just wanted to rage, to mock an unfortunate small lady standing in her path, mock about how useless she was. After that, Yoko could continue to try and find a bigger fish, before eventually making her way back to Alaina to beat the Amazon.

She entered to her theme tune in her leotard, slightly more intense than usual, as she peered at the jeering crowd. Slowly she made her way down the ramp. A single man in the front row caught her attention, not jeering at her as he made photos of Hangaku in the ring. In response, Yoko blocked his shot...and grabbed his phone from his hands. Crushing it. Doubtless, she would get a complaint, likely needing to pay compensation...but she didn't care. Everything, from the crowd members treating her as if she wasn't there...to her opponent in the ring, everything pissed her off.

She stepped into the ring, focus on her opponent...before she managed a barely honest smile as she waved towards her smaller opponent:

"<Heya, small stuff. Hope you don't mind if I completely destroy you today?>"

The fakeness was apparent in Yoko's words. She was angry at how useless Alaina made her feel...and she was going to get her revenge by making someone else feel useless.

The moment Hangaku heard her opponent's theme hit her eyes were focused on the stage. It wasn't hard to see the kind of opponent she was facing, the loud, red attire and booing crowd gave the Warrior a decent impression already. A hated wrestler, one that clearly had no issue annoying and hounding the members of the audience. Hangaku's eyes narrowed as she watched the woman in question harass and nearly assault an onlooker photographing Hangaku and the ring. How deplorable... The exact kind of person that would involve themselves in an event like this.

She did not like this woman.

And as said woman got into the ring she made her intention clear: the completely destruction of the Warrior and Pillar. Hagaku's glare only sharpened in irritation. The arrogance was to be expected, but the sarcasm had Hangaku's eyes turn to narrow, icy slits.

She absolutely did not like this woman.

"... ... ..." The Warrior took a long, drawn out breath, forcing warm air through her cold blood and lungs before looking up at the woman with a neutral, stony expression. "[ Only fools underestimate their opponents. ]" She stated, her tone even. "[ That said, I'd recommend you not mistake size with competency. ]"

*DING!*

The second Hangaku her the clang of the bell she moved into action, skipping back while whipping out her leg for fast, retreating low kick at the woman's shin and ankle to start things off.

"<Oh, don't worry...>", Yoko would tell in her faux kind tone to Hangaku: "<I am a good judge of skill>".

In truth, Yoko didn't know how dangerous...or not Hangaku was. She was going to see it within the first couple of minutes of the match whether the smaller woman was a warrior...or just a prey.

One thing she could tell...Hangaku really...really didn't like her. Which was all the better for her, as she smiled with a cocky grin.

As the bell rung, Hangaku would just move in, ramming leg into Yoko's for a low kick!

"Aaaauuuh!"

The blonde grit her teeth. It was a pretty good kick, Yoko almost losing balance at the start. Instead she stepped away to keep her balance...before quickly coming back to Hangaku, trying to whip her hand through the air to nail her with a Knife Edge Chop!

No. You aren't. The woman's groan brought no joy to Hangaku. She neither smiled or teased the successful blow, only darkening her scowl as she backed away out of reach. Her mind went right into the planning, glancing the larger woman over. Hit-and-run tactics seem to work. Just need to be mindful of my distance before going for further kicks. It was the safest plan for now. She dared not try a submission this early on a fresh opponent of this size. It'd be suicide.

And her opponent proved her fears right, she was back up in just a short moment and barreling right for the Warrior. "Grh!" Her hands were already up at her retreat, but the heavy chop shot right into her arms, practically shoving her to the side and against the ropes. "Tch-" She let out a short hiss, pushing pass the soreness in her arms and hopping her feet to the lower ropes before shooting them out for a hard dropkick to the woman's stomach in retaliation!

The chop would be blocked by the smaller woman, but the problem with blocking with one's arms meant a simple thing - a hard enough attack would still sting. Badly.

Fighting through the pain, Hangaku would back away into the ropes thanks to Yoko's attack, rebound, and shoot a hard dropkick to the blonde's stomach!

"URGH!", Yoko grunted, as she stepped away...also feeling the ropes at her back!

Rebounding herself, Yoko would rush at the rising red-clad woman, trying to ram her forearm at her head for a Lariat!

Alright. Hangaku settled back to her feet once she got her kick to go through, carefully watching Yoko back into the ropes. It was a strong hit aimed at a decent spot, but it was far from a truly damaging strike. A point that would be quickly proven as Yoko quickly shot herself off the ropes and barrelled right for Hangaku with an arm raised.

Hangaku's body tensed. Just getting her footing back, she tried ducking down under the incoming arm. She just narrowly missed her head getting cleaved off-

"Gna-!"

But the rest of Yoko's body was a different story as the lack of space kept her from avoiding a particle tackle to her side, slamming against the ropes and nearly sending her body out the ring. "Gh," Still, the Warrior refused to be deter by the pain or power, clasping her hands tight around the center rope and pulling her feet to the bottom layer before springing herself forward, getting distance from her larger foe. She needed space. Getting cornered was not an option.

After the successful Lariat, Yoko fell to her knees:

"<Freaking...>", she gritted her teeth at the pain in her stomach after the dropkick, especially exacerbated after she committed to another attack, resulting in her unwillingly giving her foe an extra moment to recover.

Both her and Hangaku would be back to their feet at the same time as a result, Yoko quickly trying to move forward with a hard punch to the smaller woman's stomach!

"Haa..." Not good. Even getting some distance and having some time to recover didn't give Hangaku much time to breathe. In only a few precious moments Yoko came charging again, this time with a clear punch. Hangaku's mind raced for a solution. Blocking that would be a death sentence given her last attempt, even if she could hold her ground against it'd kill her guard for awhile. Okay, let's try something like this! It was time to take a small page from something she tried drilling into Reiko.

As Yoko's punch came forth Hangaku twisted her body, dropping herself to the ground while bringing her leg up for a rising spin kick aim's right for Yoko's stomach. An aikido-esque technique she developed to turn a messy dodge into a surprise counter.

Yoko went for the punch, wanting to see her lightweight rival gasping for air before enacting her punishment on her...

...only for the fighter to twist her body around Yoko's fist, and manage to spin her leg into the heavyweights stomach!

"UUUGH!!!"

Yoko doubled over, before falling on her knees, gritting her teeth in anger and the red-clad lightweight as she tried to draw a breath, swearing to herself that once she got her hands on her, she wouldn't be in the match for very much longer...
