As Marie made her move, Chika was faster and socked her in the face with a stiff forearm. Marie let out a grunt as she stumbled towards the ropes, seemingly stunned from the attack.

With the current state of the match, Chika couldn't give a single second of rest to the Quebecer, her hurting leg be damned. Sucking in air, she rushed towards the ropes opposite to where Marie was stunned, trying to ignore the painful pulses from her right leg as she ran, rebounding, and taking off straight for Marie, jumping in the middle of the ring and spinning to land on her front...but not before her feet slammed Marie straight in her face with a hard dropkick, trying to knock the Canadian Martial Artist clean out of the ring!

Marie shook the cobwebs from her head and looked up to see Chika charge forwards and nail her with a stiff dropkick to the face. Marie then tumbled in between the ropes as she fell to ringside, the crowd cheering the debuting wrestler while the Quebeccer rolled to her knees. Marie crawled to the barricade and used it to help her get back to her feet, taking the time regain her breath and plan her next attack.

Chika was pumped with energy, her leading over Marie and the crowd cheering as loud as they could for her dominant run in the match so far. In the front row, her daughter was cheering for her, Chika smiling in Kairi's direction as she pumped her fist in the air.

She charged for the ropes opposite to the side where Marie was recovering, rebound, and headed at top speed for Marie, jumping up and over the top rope as she aimed herself for the Quebecer like a missile!

Marie stood upright when she heard the crowd building up to a noise. Confused, she turned around just in time to see Chika jump over the ropes and slam into the heavyset grappler -- dropping Marie onto the ringside mat hard. The blonde could only let out a surprised yelp as she was taken down once again, the crowd cheering at the athletic spectacle being displayed.

Chika was up in an instant after her dive through the ropes, crowd cheering on for her for her dominant display so far in the match. And although she appreciated that, there was one cheer that mattered the most for her.

And indeed, her little girl was wooing and clapping at ringside, alongside her trainer and father looking sternly on. Eiichiro was never the one for praise until the match was over.

She had to give a second to wave at Kairi before getting her attention back to the match, grabbing at Marie's arm...and having an idea to put her foe down for good in the match. It was risky, and it was brutal, but the result would speak for itself.

Chika dragged Marie to a corner post (a further one from her daughter, she didn't want her to witness how brutal she could be), and placed the groggy martial artist's head next to the cold steel post...

...before launching her leg for a roundhouse kick, planning to sandwich Marie's head between her leg and the post with a brutal impact!

Marie groaned, still reeling from having a full-grown woman barrel into her like a missile and having her back slam on the barely padded floor as a result. Her body ached while she could hear the cheering loudly for the smaller fighter. She soon felt herself get lifted up moved towards the corner where her back touched the post, feeling as slight chill in the bare skin that interacted with the steel. Marie opened an eye and took note of Chika's stance and recognized through the wind-up, what was coming next. She waited until the leg was halfway through the motion before the blonde suddenly ducked in order to cause Chika;s foot to collide with the hard steel instead of her head.

In addition to her move being guaranteed to miss, Chika's mind would send an alarming thought to the Raven Knight at the realization that she wouldn't be able to stop her leg's momentum: "Oh shi---"

"CLANG!"

Chika grit her teeth as she hit the bare steel post with her shin full force, the agonizing pain forcing her to drop to the canvas, clutching her hurt limb. The ref, who was at count 4 of her count out, actually grew worried, and about to exit the ring to check on the Joshi's wellbeing...before Chika hit the mat in anger, and tried to fight through the pain. Match was going on, regardless of how she was feeling...

...and that's despite the fact that when she put her weight onto her hurting left leg, the pain was so bad that she almost fell again. She kept her mouth shut, and managed to keep balance, as she tried to find her way back onto her feet. Because of Chika's current state, Marie would be standing long before Chika would even try to get back up to her full height, giving the Quebecer plenty of opportunity to attack!

Hearing the clang of flesh hitting steel was music to Marie's ears as she stood up and saw Chika barely able to stand up straight. A malicious smile formed on her face before she lunged towards the injured leg and tripped Chika so she hit the ground. The moment Chika was prone, Marie would hook the leg under the arm and delivered a ddt to further injure it.

The ref proceeded with the count, now up to 5, as Marie recuperated outside of the ring...and saw Chika's hurting leg.

Like a predator hunting her prey, she went straight for it, grabbing her leg right as Chika tried to fully get back to her feet, and nailed the leg with a powerful DDT!

"GRAAAAAAAAAAGH!!! You'll...pay for this...", she shot an angry glare at her rival.
