Re: Yamato Nadeshiko vs Melody Serperior

With Melody hurt after Yamato's kick, she was easily trapped by the Perfect Woman, as she had something devastating in mind...

She would run towards, and then on, the nearby turnbuckle, while keeping the greenette's head trapped, before jumping off the top rope, and falling down, driving Melody's head painfully into the mat with a Springboard Bulldog to the applause from the crowd to the impressive move!

"AAAGH!", Melody screamed in pain, as she laid limp on the canvas, kicking her legs against the mat in pain, and holding her aching skull, Yamato taking the clear upper hand!

Yamato had connected with yet another dazzling move! She remained seated for a second after hitting the Springboard Bulldog. The raven haired wrestler would give the fans in her field of vision a reassuring nod before leaning back towards her downed opponent who was kicking the mat.

Yamato would bear a look of concentration and hopefully on her face, tightening her lips as she leaned her back against Melody's chest and hooked her foe's leg with her arm. She'd attempt to wrap an arm around Melody's head and complete the cradle, thus attempting a pin! If successful, the referee would drop down to the canvas herself and begin to count!

"ONE!"

As Melody laid on the mat, holding her aching skull, Yamato would quickly turn her on her shoulders, hook her leg and head, before pinning the girl.

"ONE!"

And, unsurprisingly, Melody didnt find any energy in her to kick out right away, her free peg not even flailing as ref' s hand fell to the mat for a second time:

"TWO!"

However, at the Aoi d of a two, Melody would start stirring beneath the Perfect Woman. The sole of her free boot and her palms were all on the mat, waiting for the right moment to...

"THRE-----NOOO!"

...push herself upwards with both her hands and foot, raising her shoulders up and kicking out in an incredibly close near fall!!!

Yamato held her opponent securely, hooking the leg and cradling her as she tried to secure the win! People were off their seats as the ref counted. But the moment the third count was about to be called, Melody dug deep to kick out and stay in the match after a near fall!

Yamato would be forced up to a seated position. She placed has hands on her hips and let out a deep sigh. But as soon as her frustration came, it left. The Japanese wrestler remained diligent. She struggled but eventually found her way to her knees and then her feet, stumbling slightly as she did. Yamato would bend down and reach for Melody's head and shoulder, trying to pull the greenette up as bests he could. If she were able to bring Melody up to her feet, Nadeshiko would pull her foe's head between her thighs. She'd hold her there a moment and let out a battle cry before placing her hands on the backs of Serperior's thighs and trying to lift her up to position her for one of the finishers in the Perfect Woman's arsenal: The Package Piledriver!

Despite Melody successfully kicking out, the greenette couldnt simply just get up like nothing happened. Her head was still pounding from the earlier Bulldog. As such, she couldn't get back up under her own power...

That, of course, was easily fixed by Yamato, as she would raise the greenette up by her head...before putting the girl's head underneath her thighs!

Knowing that that position didnt mean anything good for her, Melody started to send punches and forearms to the side of Yamato's body, to avoid getting raised up for either the Piledriver or the Powerbomb. However, thst seemed to fail as the Perfect Woman still attempted to lift her opponent up!

As the last ditch attempt to stop the devastating move, Melody grabbed hold of Yamato's foot, attempting to strongly yank it from underneath the woman to cause her to lose balance and failing to do her move!

With her opponent seemingly dazed, Yamato seemed to again be a single move away from putting her foe away! She didn't want to or even plan to exert herself to this extent in the qualifying rounds, but if Melody wouldn't go down, she'd have no choice. The Japanese wrestler found it easy enough to pull her smaller, green haired foe up from the canvas and positioned her to be lifted into the Piledriver.

With a loud battle cry, Nadeshiko placed her hands on Melody's waist. She'd begin attempting to lift Serperior's into an upside-down position, but as soon as she committed to the lift, the Perfect woman would find a flaw in her move's execution. Melody had grabbed hold of her lower leg! A combination of a swift jerk by Melody's and Yamato trying to lift her foe saw to it and Yamato fell back onto her toned, muscular posterior without having driven Melody into the mat!

The sudden and simple counter would catch Yamato by surprise. In the moment she was falling, she wasn't mindful of how her opponent's landing and how it compared to her own. She'd take a quick second to part her hair and find her bearings while she remained seated on the mat.

OK, maybe this wasn't the best idea for a counter.

As a result of Melody tripping her opponent, she would have her head driven into the mat at an angle. It definitely didnt hurt as much as it would have if she was driven into the mat head first under the force of her own weight, but she would definitely feel a bump in the morning...

Rubbing her head, Melody would realize that this was the perfect moment to hit her finisher! She quickly grabbed hold of Yamato's head, and got the Perfect Woman up from the mat to her feet:

"Sorry, Yamato!, Melody would apologize to her opponent, feeling bad for robbing such an amazing wrestler as her of a chance to get the Middleweight tourney, as she jumped into the air, and wrapped her hands around Yamato's head to drive it into the mat for a finishing Leaf Blade!!!

Yamato placed her hands beside her and on the canvas. She attempted to push herself up off her rear to try and make it to a standing position. But Serperior had other plans for her. As Nadeshiko tried to find her way up, she felt her foe grab hold of her head. Melody wasted no time! Within mere seconds, she forced Yamato up and leaped into the air before twisting and wrapping her arms around the Japanese woman's head and tucking her shoulder underneath Yamato's chin to set her up for a devastating Cutter!

Marks in the crowd would get excited when they recognized Melody's attempt at her Leaf Blade finisher! But the noises excitement would soon become groans and expressions of disappointment when Yamato quickly reacted! The Perfect Woman would place her hands on Melody's upper back, pushing the green clad woman away in mid air, after she had committed to the jump! Yamato would try to free her head from Serperior's grip, pushing the woman forward! If successful, she'd watch as Melody fell to the canvas while replying: "No, Melody-chan! I'M sorry!"

Should her counter be successful, Yamato would dash towards the turnbuckle after her foe's landing. She'd begin to climb it as quickly as she could, hopefully before her foe had risen. The Perfect Woman would try to set up to return fire with a big move of her own!

As Melody took hold of Yamato's head in midair, everything seemed like it was going to be it. Melody would drive the Japanese nature's head into the canvas, and pin her for the 3...

But Yamato as proving that her "Perfect Woman" nickname wasn't just for show.

Managing to catch the falling greenette in midair, Yamato successfully pushed Melody off of her, the greenette losing her grip as she fell to the mat backfirst!

Cringing as she got her spine, she heard Yamato apologizing to her. Shaking her head, she hurried up to her feet, searching for where her opponent disappeared to...

Before seeing her on the top rope behind her! She rushed towards it, hoping to knock Yamato before she jumped off, and hit Melody with her own finisher!!!

Yamato was able to find her way to the top rope. As she found stability up there, perched on the point of the ring in which she felt most comfortable, her foe would begin to rush towards her. The Perfect Woman would again try and live up to her name. From her crouched position she leaped forward with a sense of urgency.

Yamato would attempt to put on a highly skilled display of coordination and timing. Her red boots would leave the turnbuckle as she jumped and flipped forwards. The Japanese veteran would try to flip and land with her legs on Melody's shoulders, as her foe charged at her! Should she be successful, Yamato would use the momentum to throw herself backwards, locking her ankles beforehand to flip Melody back with her and complete her finishing move: The Dragonrana!

"HRAAAAH!" Yamato would cry as she committed to executing the move. Should she be successful, the move would see to it that she'd flip the green clad opposition forwards and land on her chest and neck area. Yamato would complete the rana pin by reaching backwards and hooking both of Melody's legs. She'd place hands on her foe's ankles and lean forwards while pressing them down, resulting in a convincing and compromising pin! With which, Yamato would attempt to win the match and gain entry into the Championship Tourney!
