Melody Serperior vs "Prism Girl" Anzu Mazaki - 5 Count Match

Right as Melody landed her Suicide Dive, she quickly rolled away from Anzu to survey the damage she had done to the girl. She managed to sandwich her between the announce table and herself, Anzu rolling on the floor of the outside of the ring as a result of the dive.

Melody felt slightly sorry for the girl, but underdog or not, she wanted to win this just as badly as Prism Girl. Picking the girl up by her head and the skirt of her outfit, Melody would carry Anzu towards the ring, rolling her inside underneath the bottom rope.

As she stepped on the apron, planning to get in normally, she got an idea in her head as she saw the still lying Prism Girl in the ring.

Instead of simply stepping back into the ring, Melody would balance herself on top of the top rope, before springboarding off of it, and rotating in midair, aiming her back at the magical girl for a Springboard Swanton!!!

Anzu would soon find herself rolled back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Anzu was faced down on the mat trying to crawl toward the ropes but then she'd feel the pain of Melody's Springboard Swanton. "AAAUUGGHHHHH!!!!" Anzu grunted in pain as Melody crash landed on her hurt back. Anzu' movement toward the ropes was stopped effectively as she remained faced down on the mat trying to recollect herself so she could try to battle back into this match but currently her back was becoming a problem.

With Melody's high-flying attack successfully landing on the magical girl's back, Melody wouldn't waste any time, and roll Anzu on her back, hooking both of her legs to try and keep her down for the 5 count!

Anzu would get rolled up for the pin and the referee's hands would start to slap the mat. "1!..." Anzu would start to realize her predicament, and then the referee's had would come down another time. "2!..." Anzu still had onditioning from other matches that she had to kick out before a three count. So Anzu forced herself to roll her shoulder off of the mat as she grunted. "GGRRRRAAAAGHHHHHH!!!!!!" Anzu grunted as she got out of the pin but still needed time to recover.

Melody satisfyingly laid on top of Anzu, thinking that she likely won't kick out, not even at 5...

And yet, the magical girl stayed in the match, kicking out even before the three count!!!

Melody got off of her opponent for the match. With the combo of moves she hit her with just now, there as no way she wouldn't have stayed down for 4 at least. She had little doubt in her mind thst the girl's losses were likely a case of bad luck:

"Alright. Let's continue..., Melody would say as she would pick up the Prism Girl by her head to get her back to her feet.

Getting her head into a front Facebook, Melody would drag Anzu towards the ropes. Having her back to the crowd, Melody would attempt to blindly climb the ropes, only to jump off of the top rope with Anzu's head under her arm. From there, if successful the greenette would jump off of the top rope, and try to drive Anzu's head into the mat for a Springboard Tornado DDT!

Anzu gritted her teeth as Melody put her in a Front Facelock. Anzu wasn't one to take a beating lying down...(Who am I kidding) Anzu wasn't going to stay down tonight. Anzu would start firing off punches to Melody's stomach periodically, but that didn't stop Melody from going begin to Springboard off the Top Rope. Anzu hoped she learned enough from her wrestling class, as she tried to reverse Melody's momentum by countering with a Reverse Atomic Drop. If it worked, Anzu would try to follow up with a Step Up Enziguri to capitalize the best way she could.

Right when Melody started her decent to slam Anzu's head into the mat, she felt Prism Girl's hands wrapping around her, realizing in a split second that her DDT wouldn't find it's mark...

Instead Anzu, would drive her, tailbone first, into her
knee...

...or maybe that was Anzu had in mind when she did her Reverse Atomic Drop, as she slammed the greenette cooch first onto her knee!

As her mouth formed into the "o" shape from pain, she wouldn't have time to dwell on the pain in her nethers, as Anzu would drive her foot into the side of her head for an Enzuigiri!!!

Melody went down hard from the move, both her arms going to the aching places on the side of her head and between her legs. The ref wouldnt mind the Low Blow in the standard match, however, as the intended target for the Reverse Atomic Drop is still the tailbone. As a result, it was one of likely only 2 legal low blows in wrestling, with the other being the double team headbutt

Anzu would get back up to her feet after the Enziguri found it's mark. This was her chance, and she wasn't going to waste it. Anzu would get back up to her feet and would go toward the ropes. Anzu would look back at her downed opponent before she'd jump up and off of the ropes for a Lionsault to try and land on Melody's stomach. Anzu had fully committed to this move as she attempted to fully change the tide and hopefully hit Melody and go for a pin to try an obtain her first win in her career.

With Melody floored by Anzu's Enzuigiri, Melody later on the mat, holding her head, staring at the ring lights above her...

...until they were closed by Anzu's flying silhouette, as the girl flew through the air, and landed on Melody's stomach with a Lionsault!!!

As the Prism Girl pinned her, the ref started her count:

"ONE!"

"TWO!...NO!"

Melody would manage to kick out right as ref prepare for the third count, as the greenette denied Prism Girl her first victory in wrestling!

Anzu had a shocked look on her face thinking that she was so close to a victory for once. It seemed like Anzu was still in the dark on the fact that this match involved a 5 count pin. Anzu would get back up to her feet before she'd begin to attempt Leg Drop Melody across her throat repeatedly getting up after each attempt. If Anzu landed three Leg Drops consecutively, she'd try to climb the top turnbuckle before looking back and attempting to hit Melody with a Moonsault from the top rope.
