Middleweight Championship Match: Tracy "Circus Cat" Canon vs Tina "Tigress" Armstrong(c) - Coming of Age

Tracy panted and writhed. She felt every square inch of her body fall victim to fatigue and pain. But despite the struggled and despite the grueling toll this match had taken on both herself and Tina, Canon compelled herself to move, albeit slowly. At this point, the only thing that mattered was grabbing that belt above the ring and bringing it home. All the aches and pains didn't matter - or at the very least, they wouldn't after the gold was won.

The luchadora dragged herself out of the table wreckage outside the ring. She led with her forwards as she crawled in a prone position towards the apron. By the time Tracy was a couple feet from the edge of the ring, Tina had already secured a ladder. There was no doubt that Tina would be able to set it up and reach the top with the way Tracy was progressing. The fans cheered as tensions climaxed! As worn down and pathetic as Tina might have have been looking in her first defense of the Middleweight Championship, Tracy was looking even worse! And it only made sense. Tracy was probably one, if not THE toughest opponent for the Tigress to have chosen at the moment. And in a match where she had the advantage as an aerialist as well!

All these thoughts and more swarmed around in Tracy's mind as chants for both the Circus Cat and Tigress grew in volume and reach throughout the arena. By the time Tracy had pulled on the bottom rope and taken her place on the apron in a kneeling position, Tina would already be a few steps up the ladder if she chose to commit to climbing. Just one look at Tina and the belt above was all it took to spur life back into Tracy. With the crowd behind her, she nodded with vigor and reached up for the bottom rope before dragging herself back up to a standing position.

"Your belt!" Tracy declared before leaning back, tugging on the ropes, and launching herself up onto the top rope into springboard position!

"It's mine, Tina!!"

In an impressive display, The Circus Cat would vault onto the rope and bounce off of them to launch herself towards the free side of the ladder! Tracy would land onto the sixth rung of the steel fixture! The ladder would wobble a bit, but it didn't deter her at all! She'd climb up and meet Tina at the apex so that she could reach for the gold and the win in this high-profile ladder match!

Tina was so focused on the ladder that she didn't think about Tracy until she heard her, the woman somehow vaulting on the ropes after taking Tina's finisher through a table not too long ago! "What the hell!?" Tina shouted in shock. She shook her head and reached over the ladder, trying to smash Tracy in the face as hard as she could with her right fist with straight shots to the face as hard as she could! "Stay. fucking. DOWN!" Tina shouted one word with each of the three punches she sent at Tracy's face in an effort to dislodge her. Tracy already put Tina on the defensive for much of the match, shrugging off a good deal of Tina's offense. She couldn't lose like this, not to Tracy. Not to anyone.

Tina didn't hesitate to fire off multiple right hands to try and knock Tracy off that ladder! It was a long way down. But there was no height, no opponent, no circumstance that the luchadora feared in this championship match, bar defeat! The Circus Cat would throw right hooks of her own, trading blows with Tina to try and win out! This one was for all the marbles! Whoever won out on this exchange would surely win the match! Adrelanine and desperation fueled each of Tracy's swings! After three punched, Tracy would pull her head back and then throw it forwards to try and stun Armstrong with a mighty Headbutt!

"Ngh!" Tracy groaned in effort and disorientation!

If the blow hit, Tracy would begin wobbling from side to side. The strike would have her reeling just as hard as Tina, if not more so! The Circus Cat would need a moment to collect herself. The toll this match was taking on her, on both girls, was more apparent than ever! Her grip on the top rung of the ladder tightened. Her eyes dilated! Would Tracy snap out of it and claim the gold to become the new Middleweight champion and bring esteem and style to the belt and LAW?! Or would the number one contender fall to a certain and unceremonious defeat!?!

The women were hammering each other and right as Tina was readying a knockout blow Tracy's headbutt smashed into Tina! The tigress leaned back, gripping the ladder as her body swayed! It looked like she would fall but she was barely able to snap to it and recover, sending a quick jab into Tracy's face! "No! You won't beat me!" Tina shouted as she then tried to grab Tracy's hair and smash her face down off the ladder!

Tina was ready to take a gamble. If she dazed Tracy enough she would grab her by the hair with both hands and toss her down from the ladder while trying to remain up near the top! If she could toss Tracy she would be alone at the top of the ladder simply needing to reach up and grab her title to defend it successfully for the first time since winning it!

The exchange was a heated one, but it would end when Tina seized the moment, and Tracy's hair! It wasn't the cleanest or the prettiest sight. But any concerns about legality and sportsmanship would take a backseat to that title belt! After landing a quick jab to the face, Tina grabbed a handful of the luchadora's hair fraying out of the mask and yanked it towards the apex of the ladder! The ensuing collision had Tracy lifelessly slump onto the ladder. Her weight was the only thing keeping her in place near the top! With the challenger seemingly out of sorts and out of luck, Armstrong once again grabbed that hair and tossed her off the top!

Tracy would fall wordlessly and lifelessly from about a dozen feet. The thud would be heard throughout the arena. The crowd reaction would practically be deafening, but in this rare moment, Tracy wouldn't respond to them. She simply couldn't in her current state. Despite the fact that Tina fought from a place of little more than raw desperation to prove herself, she had won out. Both women pit their hearts and bodies against each other. They put their careers on the line. But this time, the champ came out on top.

Tina saw Tracy fall and once she made sure she was stable enough to climb she kept going the last couple steps, not stopping to admire her work. There was no telling when Tracy would be up again and leaping halfway up the ladder! Tina climbed up, reaching and grabbing onto the title! It felt so good in her hands again, and the tigress began untying it... getting it in her hands as she perched atop the ladder holding the bet high in both hands.

The bell rang and the crowd cheered as Tina signified the end of the match, belt in hand. She draped it over her shoulder and gingerly made her way back down the ladder, the toll of the match quickly catching up to Tina as she nearly fell when she hopped down the last couple steps. Gasping for air she made her way over to Tracy. "Your showboatin' drives me up the wall but damn... you really can fly better n' anyone I ever saw you know that?" Tina said as she knelt down next to Tracy. "I am damn glad I got to fight ya for this. I imagine we'll both be there fighting for more gold in the future n' I look forward to that."

Just like that, it was over. Tracy's eyes would begin to open once the cheers and applause rained in. The first thing she'd see was Tina holding that belt up high. The bell rang soon after. The redhead struggled to try and pull herself up to a seated position. She sat there distraught and pained. Soon, Tina made her way over to her, falling to a kneeling position next to her, showing that the match had taken its toll on them both. As much as this defeat stung, Tracy would scoff and borderline-laugh at Tina's remark.

"Bah! Hehe....Look at you getting all sentimental and crap...you know, for a good while there, I actually felt like you were fighting as if ya hated my guts."

"You best believe we'll be fighting each other for more gold...but next time...next time, I'll acknowledge you as a genuine champ...because that's the least I can do for you before taking a belt away or defending one against ya." Tracy finished her statement by sticking her tongue out at Tracy. Despite the fact that both girls were still kneeling and seated, and could barely stand, she'd extend her hand outwards to shake Tina's hand and congratulate her on a match well fought.

Tina laughed, extending her own hand to shake Tracy's. Sure she was a showboater but damn was she tough... and she packed a punch with her strikes and high flying maneuvers! Tina took a few deep breaths and nodded to Tracy, and the aches of the match were really setting in. It would be a little while before Tina was going to feel 100% again that was for sure. It still felt good to walk into a match like this against a woman favored to win and emerge victorious though. Tina felt like if she could win this she could defend her title anywhere against anyone.

The crowd was still cheering the show as they saw the middleweight title stay put for the time being. If Tina had her way it would be like that for a good long time! Both woman took a moment to bask in the cheers of the crowd... as well as catch a well deserved moment to take a breather.

Wearing a yellow t-shirt and a jeans skirt, Navi made her way down towards the front row of the Koraken Hall's seats.

She only popped up from the locker room after believing the match was soon coming to an end, feeling the champion and the challenger for the title were both getting fatigued by the encounter.

Sure enough, she was correct. With Tina and Tracy perched atop the ladder, the Tigress grasped her Circus Cat's hair, and slammed her head into the top of the steel ladder, the girl lifelessly falling on her back as the brunette champion grabbed the title from above her head, and made the win official.

At that moment, Navi leaped over the barricade, walking towards the ring with a quick step as the arena's security gave chase, before realizing who the intruder was, and giving up on it, having implicit orders not to interrupt LAW drama unless specifically given further orders from the back.

From there, it would take a split second for the blonde to climb in, and step from behind the seating Circus Cat. Even if she would be caught in Tracy's sight, by the time she realized what was going on, it was likely going to be too late.

WIth a swift motion, the blonde snaked her arms around Katherine Hart's protege's waist, and lifted her up into the air, and onto her likely sore shoulders and neck, slamming her into the canvas with a German Suplex!

Tracy was still too tired to stand. The audience was still cheering the tender moment that the Circus Cat and Tigress were sharing post-match. If there were anyone on the roster that enjoyed interrupting a moment like this, it was the one and only Navi Florges. The blonde brute hopped over the barricade and made for the ring with a level of haste and malice that caught everyone in the arena completely by surprise! As the luchadora began to push herself up, she'd find herself being assisted! Tracy's eyes would widen. She looked left and right. But before she could really do anything - before she even knew what was going on, Navi lifted her off her feet and threw her backward, away from the ladder that was set up in the ring!

The redhead would wordlessly fall a good distance behind Florges! She'd crash into the mat on her upper back and neck before flopping further back and falling onto her front! Tracy would lay there lifelessly for a moment. The fans would collectively gasp. Navi had attacked many a woman, completely unprovoked in her career. But the implications of attacking Tracy Canon or Tina Armstrong were always something that wrestler and fans alike had imagined was something she'd never consider! Not only were both women quite formidable in their own right, but their mentors, Alaina Sanders and Katherine Hart were among the last women that anyone wanted to incur the wrath of! Katherine Hart, especially in this case, given the bloody, deep-seeded rivalry between Navi and Kat!

Yet here Navi was, blatantly and despicably assaulting Tracy after a championship match! Tracy seemed quite out of it. The fans would hope that their middleweight champion would or could fair slightly better. And that somehow someway, the Circus Cat wasn't quite done yet....
