A First Night of Many... [Drifter & Gaster]

"I know a great many things about you Clara... but you are anything but cowardly. A scaredy cat maybe... but not cowardly." Kay teased with a cheeky yet beautiful smile. She gave Clara a playful nudge with her arm before the two continued on their path.
"I really appreciate what you are saying... but.. don't you be worrying about me. I can take the hits... I've been taking them all my life. What is different now however is that I have you backing me up. I know I can count on you should I ever really get into trouble. Likewise... You know I'm there for you too! If you want me to knock any more Baroness' just point me in the direction!"
Kay could not help but giggle a little however when she noticed a group of young women approaching with pads in hand. Their eyes set upon Clara and knowing her instantly.
"Heh! Someone is popular today. Want me to knock out a few of your fans?" Kay teased when sheepish requests for autographs from the Shadow Lord began to form.

When Clara was done with the latest mob, the two made good progress towards their destination. Both Kay and Clara shared stories and wrestling moments, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Soon enough the restaurant was visible, making Kay pip up slightly.
"Ooo! There it is! I'm not gonna' lie... I think I can eat a full cow right now." Kay yelped out.

"Heh...thank you...", she replied, lightly nudging Kay back as the two continued on their way, with Kay telling Clara not to worry about her, the Brit deciding to trust her girlfriend, and in turn:

"Sure thing...but if going gets tough and really unfair, know that I am right behind you."

Clara glanced to her side...as a few women from across the street approached her with pads in hand, all asking the Brit for an authograph:

"Goodness...Hello! Um...wait, form a line first!", the Brit told her fans as they suddenly swarmed all around her.

With that done, Clara still feeling somewhat awkward about meeting fans, since it didn't tend to happen as frequently on the street, the two continued on their way, arriving right on time to the restaurant:

"You might as well! I am paying for tonight, so treat the restaurant as an open buffet...just remember you have training tomorrow", she joked as she showed her booking on her phone at the entrance, with a waiter getting the two women to their table...

"Oh really? Maybe we might have to have a match on the table to decide who is paying." Kay teased when the two entered the restaurant.

When both Kay and Clara were taken to their table, Kay was taken a little aback by the entire ordeal. The two would have their own booth, with ornate glass partitions either side of the table, yet plenty of room and space despite being slightly closed off from others. It was a busy night, yet not too hectic, with plenty of staff catering to the needs of those around. The table itself was vast, simply designed but decorated by napkins and various glasses for water and wine. Luxurious cutlery was placed neatly and well designed and posh menus were lying in wait. Kay slipped onto her side of the table, her seat essentially feeling almost like an entire couch to herself. It was soft and comfortable, and Kay couldn't help but bounce a few times to further test the cushioning.

Looking around, the entire place was quite posh... but somehow welcoming and not too much. There was a pleasant atmosphere, and the colours of the restaurant were welcoming to the eyes. Their waiter went to fetch some water whilst the two settled, though Kay was clearly looking a little out of place. It was hard to think she had been living on the streets, scampering for what money she could. Often she ate on the street corner, simply eating what she could afford which at one time was not much. Those long sleepless nights were still a fresh memory for the young Canadian, trying to make enough for at least one night in a motel or a capsule. Now... here she was, sitting in comfort... with a knife and fork and a menu. For the first time ever she could afford to do something like this.

"I... I uhh..." Kay whispered, unsure what to say. She had never in her life been to a restuarant, let alone a place like this. It felt like a different world. An entire world away from all she had been through.
"I... I don't even know where to start..." Kay whispered, uncharacteristically a bit sheepish all of a sudden.

The restaurant's atmosphere was calm and soothing as the two women were lead to their respective table behind a separate booth that Clara arranged for. Kay and Clara absorbed the atmosphere of the restaurant, taking it all in as they sat down...and Kay looked quite a bit lost as she sat down, not used to luxury like this...though to be fair, Clara wasn't used to this level of luxury either.

As Kay made her confusion known audibly and visually, Clara lightly grasped her hand.

"It's ok...take it one step at a time. Let's choose the appetizers first...", she would tell her with a smile.

"O.. okay. Sorry. It's just... it's all so new to me." Kay whispered nervously, managing to force a smile that only made the beautiful woman all the more adorable. Following the advice of Clara, Kay began to browse through the menu's, selecting a few starters for the two girlfriend's to share along with drinks. The moment Clara had grasped Kay's hand was the moment she was able to regain some control, and soon enough Kay was herself again.

Some time passed... and Kay thanked the waiter after she took the orders for the Main Courses once the appetizers had been finished with, carefully placing new drinks down upon the table. Kay had been a little adventurous, getting some cocktails, taking a few modest sips from the ornate glass they came in. She can't even remember what it was she ordered, but it tasted of cherry and it was going down like a treat. It was not all too often Kay was able to drink alcohol so she knew she would have to be careful less she let it go straight to her head.

"So pretty... How are you feeling? You know... since we kinda' hooked up and stuff. I'm hoping your not full of regret already wondering what you're doing hanging with a low carder like me." Kay whispered with a joking tone. She licked her lips to get some of the flavour of her drink from them, but managed a beautiful smile as she leaned forwards, taking in Clara who sat opposite her. The girl certainly looked amazing tonight, and it was hard to look away from Clara, taking in her alluring eyes and angelic features.

"Ooh... we should probably... have like... you know... the talk?" Kay soon pipped up, having had a few things on her mind.
"I know you and I are like... girlfriend and girlfriend... but I want you to know that doesn't mean you can stop... you know... doing what you do? I mentioned before never let me stop you doing anything so... I know you are kind of partial to some... interesting matches and stuff. What I'm trying to say is you don't have to stop doing... things... I'm really cool with it you know?" Kay whispered. It was a slightly awkward topic to bring up, and Kay did not know how to bring it up. She was aware Clara usually took part in bedroom matches, and also the odd match with substances like oil and the such... all matches tending to be on the more sensual side of things.

"Don't worry, I'll help you through it!

Clara helped Kay with choices, and after the menus for both ladies were selected, they just talked for a while, Kay calming down from her initial reaction to the restaurant.

Both women enjoyed their appetizers, and drank a few cocktails. Clara remembered not to go too much on the alcohol...especially since she was a very light drinker herself. It was actually a good idea that they didn't take a car. She kept it basic, just drinking a basic mojito.

"Psssht...don't even mention that. If anyone makes fun of us hanging out, then let them talk!", she proudly let out. She wouldn't change what she was doing tonight for the world. If asked to give up her popularity for Kay, she would do so in an instant.

Her beautiful blunette girlfriend looked especially spectacular tonight. It was new to see her like this, finally having enough to treat herself a little...but she was incredibly happy about that.

Then the subject went into an interesting direction for Clara:

"The talk?", Clara asked, confused, before Kay continued...and she got red with embarrassment.

"Oh...oh!"

It was important to talk about this. Especially since shortly before the two women let their feelings known for each other, Clara had a very fun bedroom match with Tracy Canon. It would be really awkward to continue those without any questions:

"It really comes with a territory doesn't it? Just know that if you want to have any of those yourself, I am completely supportive of that..." , Clara would explain...before fidgetting with her fingers a bit:

"Are you completely, 100% sure? I had a match with a noobie recently, Natalia Dominique. She was cute...um!"

"CRAP! Recover!", she thought in her head:

"Not as cute as you of course! But...yeah. Even though it was a regular match, there was a bit of flirting between the two of us, and I held off to the best of my ability...I should really ask this as a separate question, are you ok with me being this...open with ladies in the ring? Kissing them, flirting with them...bear in mind, I will keep the sweetest kisses and hugs for you!", she winked at Kay, but her heart was beating out of control. Maybe addressing the matter directly was a bad idea?

Kay couldn't help but grin, watching as Clara's cheeks began to turn a clear shade of pink at the subject change. It was of course a serious topic, but seeing Clara react the way she did was simply adorable, and Kay struggled to hide that she was enjoying having Clara on the ropes as it were. All at once the tables of nervousness were incidentally turned.
"Oooh... So there is other girls? I bet I'm not even the first one you've taken here this week am I?" Kay spoke out with a forced tone of surprise, feigning betrayal. Seeing the look upon Clara however, she knew it was unwise to keep the act up for long or she might genuinely upset her girlfriend. As such she grasped her hand gently with her own and flashed a great big grin.

"Of course its alright you silly thing. It comes with the job at the end of the day. I've probably said this one too many times already since we left from your place, but it still stands true... I don't want our relationship to change anything for you. I know you get booked to... a certain type of match from time to time and I have no problem with that... honest. I know all about that side of LAW. Who knows... maybe I'll even dip my toe in it too one day. The benefit is, at least I know I get to take you home with me at the end of the night. So kiss, grope and flirt all you want... just don't... you know... fall out of love with me. Plus... I won't lie, sometimes it can be pretty hot to watch you roll around with other girls." Kay added, lightly biting on the side of her lower lip in a slightly seductive manner.

"So Natalia Dominique was cute huh? What has she got that I don't?" Kay then added after a brief with a sly and devious smile, letting her tone indicate that she was back in her joking mannerisms... but desiring to see Clara squirm just a little bit.

Kay started to push the subject further. She definitely enjoyed seeing Clara be as uncomfortable about this subject such as this. She framed it as a joke, however, so beyond a pout, Clara wasn't angry in the slightest.

"I researched the best restaurant for us for hours and this is how you repay me?", she said in a faux dramatic tone, right as Kay switched the subject back:

"Never...I will never fall out of love with you. I promise..."

Though naturally the conversation went back to the more joke-y talk:

"Oh is that so?", she grinned. It was her turn to try and tease Kay: "Do you regularly watch my matches like that then?"

But Kay would soon turn the tables right back at her, asking about Natalia Dominique, Clara pouting once more:

"I already said you are cuter!", she let out, right as the main courses started to arrive...

"Which brings me to my next question... since we're kind of on the topic." Kay began, before pausing and thanking the waitress as she began to carefully slide the main courses upon the table, refreshing their napkins whilst another waiter approached, methodically moving around the waitress to deal the next round of drinks for the two ladies on their first official date. It was quite impressive how the staff worked, but no doubt that was part of the work ethic... a tip would no doubt be on hand... so long as the food tasted good, but judging from the presentation and the slow aroma that rose from it... it was all looking promising.

When the staff members retreated, Kay looked to get back to her point, leaning across the table a little as she carefully picked up her knife and fork. A little thing Clara noticed was that she swapped around her knife and fork to different hands, showing she was actually left handed.
"So... who are your top five wrestlers who you think are the most beautiful or cute. Let's pretend if we weren't going out and you could list your top five pretty LAW girls to go on a date with each... Excluding ourselves naturally... it can't include me because I will wrestle you on this table here and now if you cheat and include me on the list." Kay added, managing a sneaky smile. She began to cut into her meal, licking her lips a little as she watched the juices slowly slide from her dish the moment her knife slid in.

She was going to enjoy this... Kay just knew it... both the food... and the list.

Clara waited in anticipation on Kay's next question. The look on her face let her know that she wasn't yet done twisting the knife in her shadow-y heart...but she patiently waited for the table to be set before striking.

The smell of Clara's main course did snap her out of the waiting, as she picked up the knife and the fork, preparing to eat her ribeye steak. She did notice Kay having her fork and knife in different hands, making a mental note of the fact for the future.

Then Kay finally asked the question, and after she was done, she cut the knife into the meat to try and eat it:

"Oh that...you...grgggh..."

She couldn't keep getting away with messing with her like this, leaving her speechless and her mind in a daze. Her cheeks reddened as she looked to the side, trying to see if anyone can assist her for help...but alas, there was nothing...

...until her brain figured out an out:

"You first! You can't just ask questions like that out of nowhere!", Clara would try and reverse the question on it's asker...
