When first accepting this particular assignment within the sterile confines of her Chief Superintendent's office, the Interpol Agent envisioned as best she could just what exactly the mission would entail as she flipped through the confidential information within the folder offered to her. Undercover operations, infiltration, expunging potential narcotics trade and extortion rackets...Chun-Li surmised that this assignment would be anything except mundane, otherwise none of this would have come across her desk. One of a seasoned officer with an unyielding adherence to the indisputable rule of law with little room for shades of grey when it came to its application, but who was beginning to speculate as to whether she was handpicked for this mission for reasons which had little to do with her aptitude for criminal investigations. Chun-Li patiently boded her time as she scanned over her immediate surroundings from behind a curtained off area besides the raucous Tiki bar, soaking in the festivities of a tropical paradise with the radiant amber gleam of a miraculous sunset as the backdrop. She figured it was no surprise that Honolulu defied all expectations when it came to its breathtaking beauty, a small part of her wishing she could have brought Li-Fen with her to experience such a tranquil yet jovial setting. Except even here amongst the thralls of euphoric partygoers and enraptured tourists, she couldn't help but ponder about the paperwork waiting for her back in the Japanese Interpol office or alternate methods of approaching her investigation. Several arrests had been made and Interpol seemed pleased with her progress, but still she-"HM? OH, RIGHT!!!" Chun balked as her theme started playing and compelling her own entrance through the billowed curtains.

A mix of cultures playing throughout the speakers, combining a hip hop beat with oriental flavor into a melodic and soothing track that was practically engulfed by the hollering appreciation of that the beachside partygoers were bearing witness to, a vision of Chinese elegance and curvaceous allure behind the azure blue of a stretched taut swimsuit. Commanding steps taken throughout the martial artists approach towards the ring with audience members diverting their attention from the exquisite sunset now that something of comparable beauty began approaching their vicinity. Appreciative of the fandom she's garnered throughout her newfound wrestling career, Chun offered polite waves and demure smiles but politely declined offered Mai Tai's and selfie requests before the experienced fighter modestly entered the ring through the tethered ropes. A wobbled stutter step taken before she became comfortable with the unorthodox footing available as she approached her side of the ring. She eventually settled her back against its corner turnbuckle with legs crossed and arms draped over the adjacent ropes. Chun-Li's old martial arts master always did stress the importance of broadening her horizons and taking the time to travel the world in search of fighters whom she could refine her own techniques against, she just didn't anticipate she'd be performing such a task on all expenses paid Hawaiian excursion. Palm trees swayed in the seaside breeze as Chun took a soothing breath of the salty air, taking the time to appreciate her serene surroundings given she may never have the time to vacation in Hawaii in her life ever again. Not to mention she wouldn't have the time to once the match started against an adversary whom she...earnestly had a strange feeling about...

The next song wasn't Juri Han’s usual theme. She’d decided to go with something a little special for the occasion.

“I’ve got you under my skin…”

Juri wasn’t what you would call a great singer by any real measure, but she could hold a decent tune when she wanted to, and today she definitely wanted to. Her voice came out over the loudspeakers, crooning over the lapping waves and the murmuring crowd, enough to send the birds flying from the trees.

“I’ve got you deep in the heart of me…so deep in my heart that you're almost a part of me…”

She didn’t sing for people often, mind you. It wasn’t something she cared to show much, like a little secret she reserved for those lucky enough to get close, very close, to her, to know the little things. Like the way she smelled after a long shower. The feel of her skin. The taste of her lips. All things the woman inside the ring would likely remember well, along with the unmistakable tenor of her voice.

“I said to myself, this affair never could go so well. But why should I try to resist when, baby, I know so well…”

The crowd parted, and the woman sauntered out, one hand on her hip and the other holding a microphone, her bare feet padding across the sand, her body nearly spilling out of the

she wore. The crowd gazed at her, unsure what to make of the haunting entrance, but she paid them exactly zero mind. Her gaze never left the ring. Or, more specifically, the woman inside.

That was enough of a solo for one day. Juri tossed the microphone away, not particularly caring where it landed, and made her way up the steps and through the ropes. With her hands behind her back, she strolled along the ring, nearing Chun-Li, her head shifting this way and that as she took her in from different angles. It was kind of funny, really - this woman had been chasing her hither and thither for years, but this was the first time she’d gotten a good look at her. The first time she hadn't been one step ahead.

She moved closer to Chun-Li, saying nothing, until she was just inside the woman’s personal space. Once there, she breathed deep, closed her eyes, and savored the scent for a moment before opening them again, a soft, wanting smile on her face.
