Mephistopheles was a whole lot of things, most of them evil or malevolent, but “stupid” was definitely not one of them. He clearly saw through the Snake Queen’s intentions to lull him into a false sense of security so she could ambush him, a classic trap used by ring villains that the clown demon already knew all too well
The Heartbreaker looked him up and down, taking in his exotic clown costume that he’d designed himself, while asking if being a harlequin was his gimmick. “Let’s say it is, buuuuuuuuuuuut with a few differences. And I’m guessing yours is being a daddy’s or mommy’s little girl who thinks she can get away with anything without consequences,” he replied playfully to his opponent, as a sort of introduction.
He noticed a certain unease in Vivy’s movements, as if she were pretending to want to treat him well; it was clear that the mere presence of the demon in the establishment greatly unsettled the place’s manager. The way she held her arms and fiddled with her clothes revealed her disdain for her surprise opponent.
It was very clear that the queen wanted to see the Chaos Harlequin destroyed and humiliated tonight. All because of the mere fact that you could compare them just a little bit in the way they acted so theatrically and strangely in the ring and in their outfits in front of the audience.
And she said what was obvious and what everyone was already expecting: that she hated him. She said this while giving him a look of pure hatred, which the demon returned with his own eyes full of the same emotion as he approached his rival. His smile was now one of utter malice, and he said mockingly, “At last we agree on something, though we differ a bit on the proportions,” in response to his rival’s statement.
And just as they were about to fight, the woman with the wild hair changed her expression and pointed out something unsightly on his face, specifically on his nose. The devil was in shock for a few seconds. He had just checked himself in the mirror, and everything had been fine. Was it powder left over from his performance, or was it smudged makeup, or what? He turned around, putting his back to his opponent, to see what had happened to him.

Re: When the "Die Dämonin" walks into a pub - Mephistopheles vs Vivi
ViVi snorted when Mephisto fell for such an old trick.
The Hellish Harlequin turned his back at the rather sudden comment, searching for a flaw in his makeup or somewhere around his nose. A flaw that wasn’t there.
The pinkette merely shrugged, rolling her eyes as she shot the spectators a knowing little smirk before driving a shin between the jester’s legs!
A straight kick to his bollocks, just to teach him exactly where he belonged when he was standing in front of her and turned his back on her in such a rude way. If the kick managed to bring him down to his knees, the Pink Queen would plant a hand on his head to keep him steady. She would then lift each of her legs over his shoulders before driving him face-first into the canvas for the Devil Kiss.
"Why don’t you just stay down there and let me keep the show going, fool?"
And with that, she would begin raising and lowering her hips, hammering the local ring’s canvas with his face.

Re: When the "Die Dämonin" walks into a pub - Mephistopheles vs Vivi
Makeup was very important for the "Harlequin from Hell" act; it was the foundation of his entire character, even though it didn't seem like it, which is why he made sure to keep it on at least until the start of the match. Fun fact: that white stuff on his face isn't makeup, it's his natural skin color
And when he realized there was nothing wrong with his makeup, it was already too late, and the clown took a kick right to the groin from the other demon in the ring. The demon, seeing that the German was still trying to stay on his feet despite that, forced him to his knees so she could perform the Devil Kiss.
The devil began taking multiple blows to the head, which were making him dizzy, but he kept laughing despite the damage, and for a moment he managed to stop Vivi’s legs from slamming his head into the ground again, allowing him to get back up with the Snake Queen’s legs still wrapped around his neck so he could improvise a piledriver.
After that, he reached one of his hands into his groin to pull something out, which turned out to be a plastic guard he’d been wearing because he sensed she was going to attack his groin.
