Everything ached.

Her head, her back. Even her cheeks from being pulled by the gremlin that was Halloween. She probably even liked that movie because it was a Halloween themed movie, right? It sounded like a spooky old time movie and it did have puppets so probably. Morgan would have to ask sometime.

Though that might have been the scrambled brain she was dealing with as she picked herself up off of her face and rolled over. Groaning, she blinked a little in the overhead lights. Maybe it was the lights but she did seem to recall Halloween had put her in this situation so a friendly asking about movies seemed silly given the circumstances. In fact, Morgan had the opinion that her opponent was almost assuredly due for her own payback and...

The audience was roaring?

Show biz had afforded Morgan the experience to read an audience. How were they engaged and what might be engaging them. This particular sound was like a buildup, like everyone in the audience were rolling up in a higher pitch to indicate something they were waiting for. Like a bunch of frat bros hyping up the guy who is chugging a beer for a finish.

Halloween didn't seem like she'd drink a beer in the ring. So she was doing something else? The audience sound approached the peak and Morgan did what anyone without wrestling experience would do. She raised her legs to guard herself but as she saw the figure of her opponent soar into view, Morgan took a gamble at the airborne opponent and threw both of her feet out to kick at the incoming projectile. Halloween.

”Oooooooooooo…”

Halloween wouldn’t lie, she loved when the crowd did that. Despite being so small, she had never been what people called a ‘high flyer’, preferring to keep the match grounded and rely on her technical and striking skills, since it wasn’t like her tiny body could do a ton of damage even if she did land a good crash, but…well, she was in a mood to indulge today. To trod the road less traveled.

And that road was going to have her dropping down on Little Miss Morgan with a Swanton Bomb, in three, two…

There was nothing wrong in Halloween’s flight plan, but it was abruptly canceled at the last second as something - she couldn't tell exactly what, but she guessed it was Morgan’s feet - slammed into her midair, knocking her tiny body away. She let out a hoarse, surprised cry as she was flung away, and the blow sent her tumbling across the ring, under the ropes and out onto the floor, which she ungracefully crashed down onto with her back.

Yeah, not doing that one again anytime soon.
