Ugh. Alex, frankly, hated this part of the match. The ‘showing off’ phase.
She knew it wouldn’t be forever. She knew her girlfriend would get things together and take control of the match in the way she knew she could. This was just her way of getting a feel for the opponent, stretching her legs, gathering data. It made sense.
It was also her way of getting under Alex’s skin and ticking her off. Or trying to. That was the point of that cute little slap, she was sure.
She just groan and tried her best to ignore it for the moment, as the two little speed demons continued their duel. Unfettered, Makie came in again to meet Betty, with what looked like a clothesline at first - of course, she couldn't do anything so simple. Instead, it was a feint and one that she bit on. By the time she’d turned around to face the joshi, it was too late, and she got snagged by the woman’s legs for her trouble.
Betty was pulled forward, hard, and would’ve wound up on her back if not for a little mid-air trickery. She didn’t fight the momentum; she rolled with it, turning the toss into a flip and landing daintily on her feet. She kept running from there to the corner, where she scrambled up the pads, flipped off the top, and attempted to come crashing down on Makie with a Moonsault Press.

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Makie felt her legs clamp around Betsy's head, and practically heard the other girl's muffled gasp of surprise. She let instinct take over as she dropped forwards in a roll, aiming to flip her opponent head over heels.
Releasing Betsy in mid throw, Makie rolled forward onto a graceful crouch, and hopped up...
....just in time to see Betsy rebounding at her with a graceful moonsault.
The collision smashed Makie right off her feet and sent her crashing into her back, gasping loudly as as the other girl fell against her. As annoying as this was, though, she was quietly impressed at Betsy's counter. Damn, this girl's high flying skills were actually pretty damn good...

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
”Incoming!”
Betty’s moves were graceful, quick, dazzling, but the collision with Makie was anything but. In her defense, there was just no way to be all that stylish when you were turning your body into a living projectile, but that was fine. It might not have been all of those things, but was something more important: Effective.
She came down hard on Makie, sending them tumbling over, with her coming out on top, exactly where she wanted to be. While she knew there was no chance of it working, she decided this was a good time to go for a pin. But not just any pin.
Sinfully sliding over Makie’s body, she let the woman feel the full weight of her breasts dragging against her through the suit, as she reached down, hooked the leg, and pressed their chests together. That put their lips tantalizingly close, close enough for them to taste each other’s breath, close enough to kiss…but Betty found enough restraint to keep from doing that. For the moment.
”What’s wrong, cupcake?” She hummed as the referee slid over to start the count. ”Too much?”
The referee slapped the canvas beside them. ”1…!”

Re: The Akamatsus vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Makie groaned as she ended up on her back, finding herself on the receiving end of a moonsault-- one of her favourite moves, no less. The annoyance of that bothered her a lot more than the lingering hurt to her back. She wasn't given much time to think on that, though, before Betsy wrapped her up for a pinfall.
But not just any pinfall.
Makie's leg was hooked, and then she suddenly felt very conscious of Betsy's body against hers. This wasn't a standard pinfall, where the opponent just so happened to be pressing down against you: Betsy was deliberately playing to the crowd, and making sure that Makie could feel every curve, every contour pressing and mashing up against hers. Her face went more than a little red, especially as Betsy's lips drifted tantalizingly close to hers.
And despite it all, Makie found herself smiling. A part of her was more than a little tempted to let this count go to three.
"Heh...not at all. Maybe not close enough."
And with that, Makie would kick out with both legs, aiming to power out of the pinfall. If she managed that, then she would roll backwards up to her feet; breathing hard, she would brace herself, the moment Betsy started to get back up, Makie would rush forward, faking a kick...and then instead rush past Betty, kicking backwards to try to swipe her boot into the side of her foe's head!

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Betty was playing with her food too much. Alex hated when she got like this.
She didn’t want to deny her lover the chance to have her fun - this was the sort of environment she thrived in, after all, and you could get some good results out of her when she was amped up. But she would rather the woman play these sorts of games after they’d got a good feel for their foes, not before.
She did not like the smile on Makie’s face as she got back up, seeing the trickery in her eyes. She was up to something, but she didn’t learn what until the woman rushed forward and started up an obvious kick. Betty moved to meet it was a kick of her own, but, of course, that was the point - she bit on the feint, missed the kick, and stumbled forward , needing a moment to adjust.
But this time she was ready to strike again, it was too late. Makie’s kick struck her in the head, and she wound up stumbling forward, a path that took her to the corner, where she wound up leaning against the pads. One of the neutral pads, not the Akamatsus’, but that was likely just luck. Betty looked too out of it for that to be a tactical decision.
