After every match the two shared, it seemed hardly any words were exchanged to say the least. Kasey sat alone backstage as His tag team partner Bill had wandered off to god knows where, having presumably vanished until the next time He was called for a match. At this point Kasey was a little used to it but nonetheless curious as to why the two could barely even discuss preparations for next time they teamed together.
Well at least the match was a good spot of fun for the two; having won another handicap bout in which they were able to put on a rather promiscuously dominant display for the audience and each other. It still felt admittedly a little unearned for Kasey as He was mainly leeching off of Bill's dominant work within the ring to achieve His own desires against the competition... But He was confident that despite His advantages when His partner was around, He could still go toe to toe whenever the time came for it. It just happened to be He was... focusing on tag team wrestling instead as of late. A thought He reminded Himself of as He sat on a production crate, tapping His heels together while daydreaming of the next exhilarating display of dominant wrestling that was sure to come for Him. A breath down Kasey’s neck. A heat emanating from behind him. A single word, uttered with a familiar Irish brogue.
”Boo.”
The Morrigan had been wandering through the backstage area, prepping for a tag match she had with Sabine later on, when she saw her favorite little boy toy hanging out all by himself in the shadows. Just the sight of him brought back all kinds of pleasant memories from their time together. Good ones, if a little shorter than she would’ve liked. To her shame, she hadn't been able to followup on their initial meeting as well as she would’ve liked. Just a matter of life intervening.
But she could make up for lost time.
With stealth that most wouldn’t have expected from a woman her size, she snuck up behind, gave him the surprise, then stepped back to watch the inevitable fireworks display with a slight chuckle. ”Kasey-Boy, been a while.” She folded her arms. ”How’re you hanging?” Hello, handsome.
He didn't even need to turn around or engage before knowing who it was. A instant chill ran down His spine and a His eyes widened- If He had expected this in the least perhaps He would not be as startled but to be honest with Himself it was somebody that hadn't crossed His mind in quite some time...
"M-morigan?"
Kasey finally creaked His neck back to confirm what His ears had heard and senses felt and it was true- The Morrigan was standing right behind Him.
*CRASH!*
Kasey practically leaped away as He awkwardly ended up falling off the production crate He was on- The instinct reaction of His body being to get out of dodge as fast as possible! That was until He found Himself laying awkwardly on the concrete after slipping and falling right on His back- Staring up at... At The Morrigan.
"Gah. Fuck."
Kasey slumped His head back against the concrete as He lay in His rather uncomfortable position, realizing She was a human being and not some kind of demon out to get Him. "Sorry."
The chuckle was expected but it still stung. It had been quite some time since Kasey had His career altering encounter with The Morrigan during which He realized so many things about Himself and yet... Felt like He had not capitalized on. After The Morrigan dragged Him through hell and back, Kasey learned of His submissive urges and feelings that He should consider Himself a more capable competitor- But from a stroke of fate He happened upon His tag team partner Bill instead; Who subsequently had been the domineering force in all of their matches since, allowing Kasey the luxury to coast by as a lackey to Bill's domination.
Instantly a wave of both regret and guilt racked Kasey's mind as He didn't even quite know what to say to The Morrigan now that She was here. Apologize? He hadn't done what She advised; He felt no stronger, no better. He certainly felt good about His dominant victories but now that Bill wasn't physically here He felt like He was back at square one; might as well be back in The Morrigan's basement once more.
"I'm good."
Kasey's reply was the most transparently daft of all He could've chosen- He didn't even believe it Himself as the words left His mouth. Yet He dusted Himself off and clambered to His feet to appear at least partially presentable to The Morrigan-
"Still doing the uh, the thing?" Fucks sake Kasey what the fuck is that even supposed to mean?
The Morrigan stood still with a smirk and watched as he completely spazzed out, though she had to fight the urge to help the poor guy before he hurt himself. It didn’t come to that, thankfully, but she took no small amount of pleasure in watching him flail about in a panicked mess. It was good to see that he hadn't changed too much, despite his fortunes changing radically since their lives last intertwined. Still a bit of a spaz, but cute in his way.
She hopped over the crate and sat where he’d been sitting a moment ago, crossing her legs for a leisurely sit while he got his stuff together. She idly checked her nails as he straightened up, those she raised a brief eyebrow at the apology. Wasn’t expecting that.
”You look good.” She gave him the once over, top to bottom. His body still looked sharp. ”Damned good, I’d say. Victory suits you.”
Even if it hadn't been entirely his victory. While she wouldn’t say she was an avid watcher of his matches, she’d kept up enough with him to know of his recent forays into tag wrestling, something that seemed to be working out well for him.
The Morrigan slid over enough on the crate to give him room and patted the space beside her, inviting him to sit - though, given their relationship, she wasn’t sure if he’d take it as an invitation or a command. That would be fun to test out. ”Enjoying the tag division, huh?”[/coloor]
The flattery He received as He stood up felt undeserved as He stood awkwardly, unsure of how to react initially; Until The Morrigan patted the space beside Her on the crate for Him to join Her as if the two were old friends catching up. Or was it more as a command? Was She attempting to stir back up those emotions from His POW punishment to see if He was still as subservient and docile as She left Him?
The thought truthfully was angering to Kasey- That Morrigan thought She could just strut up to Him backstage and expect Him to bow down to Her as if nothing had changed- That is, if that was Her intention. It was hard for Kasey to get a read on the Woman; their last encounter ended rather nicely considering how it had begun but was that just a idealistic retelling in His head? He wanted to show that The Morrigan didn't control Him like some pet; He didn't even need His tag team partner for this either- He could handle Her no problem. After all, He must have learned something in the time since?
Kasey crossed His arms and stood directly in opposition to Morrigan's offer for Him to sit- He wouldn't want to just lap up to Her so easily. "Enjoying is a word for it. Been kinda crushing it lately."
Maybe if He believed His own bullshit it could come across better? Obviously there was no way He wanted to feel like He had regressed, especially in front of Morrigan. It just made sense to play Himself up and focus on the accomplishments He has made since they last were together.
"Me and my partner have been running through quite the... competition. Fairly dominantly as well. You're looking good though; hows uhh... whatsherface- Your partner? Win as much as me lately?"
The balls to speak to Her like that was fairly commendable given Her stature- something Kasey had definitely not forgotten and was now taking in whole as She sat in front of Him~ Would this be a smart move in the end though?
When Morrigan patted the spot beside her, she expected Kasey to hop to it like a good boy, eager and willing. While it had been a while since they last crossed paths, she was fairly certain she’d left the pecking order between them clear enough, and the two of them had been in a healthy place. It was a shame she hadn't capitalized on it, and she only had herself to blame - not that she would admit as much out loud.
Instead, he was holding his ground, standing up, doing his best attempt to put on the tough guy act. It was kind of adorable, really. At least, she’d call it that if she was ever the type to find something adorable.
”Crushing it? Well, fuck, color me impressed.” She slid over on the crate, taking up the space she’d offered him, and leaned back on her elbows to stretch out her legs and put her body on display. Her legs spread, not so broad as to be obvious. Just relaxing. Easygoing. If she happened to do so in a way he found visually appealing, well, so be it. ”And dominant, too? Not bad. You’re coming up in the world, your partner’s a lucky man.”
She kept her tone casual, kind, but there was the smallest hint of a smirk flickering up as she side-eyed him, as if she were curious to see how much he was buying into his own hype. Sly sarcasm wasn’t the only blade she had to prick him with, either.
”Sabine’s fine. We’ve got a match coming up soon, is what I’m here for.” A bit of misdirection to throw him off. A feint. Now came the haymaker. ”Did you like having sex with me, Kasey?”
She idly checked her nails as she asked the question, with the same enthusiasm of someone asking what the weather was like.
Morrigan's casual approach to the conversation did not go unnoticed as Kasey battled within Himself to continue to act confident and self-assured, while The Morrigan didn't give off a single hint She was acting in any way other than as Her natural self. This became a very evident problem to Kasey as She casually spread Her legs and body out for the more scantily clad male to see... And in a instant He felt a rush of memories coming back while He unintentionally began ogling Her body.
Any other Woman with a similar stature perhaps He would feel differently- But considering the imperative nature of His time with Her, it was going to be hard for His body to try to not get... well. shit.
Kasey slightly unsubtley went to lean His back against the production crate- getting closer to Morrigan which was a little intimidating but well worth it so He could oh so subtly lean with His back towards Her. Staring off into the hallway ahead of Him, pretending He didn't even care for Her presence while She corrected Him on Her partners name-
...and then ask about their sexual encounter.
Kasey visibly jumped a little as the question was asked; the crate pushing back slightly as His body almost caused Him to flee on the spot- Until He regained His composure slightly and opted to instead just stand in place with a bright pink blush beginning to come across His face.
"uh.. I um, y-yeah."
He stammered out a embarrassing response; ashamed at Himself for even feeling so fucking nervous... But He had to seem at least a little sure of Himself in front of Her! He was supposed to be ahead of these feelings; past that night! He had a NEW partner and was DOMINATING in the ring!
"Well yknow- I don't even give a shit. Alright? I, I've done a lot since then and you got me at my worst. You got lucky and thought you could expose me. Well too bad; I got a new partner now and- we can do whatever the fuck we want."
Kasey wasn't even sure if He answered the question presented; His tirade all the less convincing by the fact He didn't even look in the direction of The Morrigan while spewing it off. Although it did admittedly make Him feel a little more sure of Himself- Some of what He said held a bit of weight! If He was lucky, The Morrigan would take it as a sign to simply leave and keep out of His life for.. forever.
That was about the reaction she was expecting, yeah. Though she had only really met Kasey the one time, she’d gotten to know him reasonably well that night - in multiple meanings of the word. That was the thing about BDSM, in her estimation. It had a way of unwinding people. Revealing them. You could come to know a client better in two hours than some of their closest family members ever would. In the darkness, away from the confines of society, people became closer to their true selves.
Kasey had shown her some of that. He was hiding it now, but despite his best efforts, she couldn't see him getting rid of it completely.
It was cute to see him try, though.
She sat through his tirade, unmoving, perfectly still except for the occasional blink. It was like he was trying to escape the conversation, but if he wanted to leave - really, truly - he’d just…leave. He wasn’t chained to the floor, she hadn't beaten him in a POW match, and nothing was tethering him to this spot in time. He was only here because he wanted to be, whether he realized it or not.
She could have said many things in response to his explosion, and she would. But, for the moment, she let silence reign. The Morrigan planted an elbow on her knee, leaned forward to rest her chin on her fist, and simply stared at him for a few agonizing seconds as if she expected him to continue. As if she was waiting for something to happen. It was the same uncomfortable silence that interrogators often used to push suspects, and she found it equally effective here.
The Morrigan waited, waited, waited until the exact moment the silence slipped into insanely awkward territory, then abruptly spoke up, cutting the tension with a buzzsaw. ”I liked having sex with you, too, Kasey. Was kind of hoping we could do it again, sometime. Maybe even now, if you’ve got a minute.” She glanced down at his groin, then back up with the faintest hint of a knowing smile.
”But,” She pushed off the crate and stood with her hands on her hips, letting her shadow stretch over him in the pale light of the room. ”I’m curious where this is coming from. ‘Cause it’s not you. Don’t think so. You say you can do whatever the fuck you want?”
She leaned forward, placing her face on the edge of his personal space. ”Prove it. Do something to me. Right now.” She brought out some of the wild edge in her voice, a tone he would no doubt recall from their time together. ”Show me what sort of man you are.”
Kasey's eyes darted back on occasion, expecting a reaction to occur, but instead He was met with an eerie silence while He continued to feign true interest. What was She doing? What was She thinking? Why was... Why was this so fucking awkward..?
Every second She just sat there was torturous- Kasey just wished She would leave Him the hell alone already and yet- He didn't move a single muscle to leave either. He simply stood in place getting more and more aggravated He could hear Her breathing without the dignity of providing a verbal response.
”I liked having sex with you, too, Kasey. Was kind of hoping we could do it again, sometime. Maybe even now, if you’ve got a minute.”
His heart was racing. He didn't have the faintest clue what He expected Her to say- Anything would have caught Him off guard but this choice of words hit especially well. His response was an expected continued silence, no longer darting His eyes back to see what She was doing and instead focusing intently on a nearby piece of wall that surely would hold the answers of what He was supposed to do or feel in this scenario. That bright pink blush had now encompassed His entire face- thank god He had a mask on at the very least.
Morrigan followed up with a rather accusatory tone; leaning into His personal space as She called Him very easily out on His bluff. ”Show me what sort of man you are.” Apparently the kind of man who didn't have anything to say. Kasey felt Her hot breath against His skin while His hair stood on end- He recalled so many details about how His own body had felt after being dominated by Her~ Details that He had thought were tucked far away in the furthest corner of His mind- Now crawling back and enveloping His body. Stimulating Him to want to-
"I DON'T NEED TO PROVE JACK SHIT TO YOU!!!"
Kasey turned swiftly around; a furious expression etched across His face as He now stood directly towards Hers; uncaring about the fact He was hard as a rock while addressing Her.
"I mean it. You got LUCKY. Alright? I don't need your ass for any reason; I got my tag partner and I can still beat anyone on my own if I really wanted! So how about you ask your Girlfriend to whip or chain you or some shit while I keep my fucking business in the ring!"
Kasey's burst was abrasively loud- hopefully not loud enough to attract any unnecessary attention as Kasey made their interaction sound like a squabbling couple more than anything! But as He finished speaking and all that was left was His fiery breaths forcing their way out of His mask- did He this truly feel like this course of action was a smart idea?

The Morrigan knew men. Women, too, but in her opinion, men were so much more fun to toy around with. Maybe it was just her experience and perception speaking, but she had infinitely more fun with the less fair sex, prodding them and poking them and getting reactions out of them. It was probably a societal thing, norms imposed on them, expectations they couldn't meet.
Kasey, though, wasn’t like that. While she enjoyed teasing him a bit and might have viewed him as a toy at some point, they’d evolved past that during their time together. So this…
Unexpected. Unwarranted. Unwanted.
When she got up in his face, she could see the reactions under the skin - the subtle twitches, the shifting of skin, the flicking of the eyes. Memories were coming back to him, no doubt remembering the time they shared and the joy of being inside her. She wasn’t sure what to expect after that.
What she got was an explosion. The man erupted in front of her, spewing venom her way at an incredible volume, with enough force that some of the hairs on her face flew back, enough to reveal her scarred eye. She held her ground, still except for the occasional blink and brow furrowing.
What was she supposed to say to that? How could she respond.
”Oh, I see.” She titled her head to the side, enough to get a crack out of her neck. ”You’re that kind of man, then.”
She huffed and shrugged her shoulders as she stepped off to the side, looking like she might just leave altogether. She stopped before she could get too far, though, and turned his way, keeping her face placid as she looked down, then up again at his face. ”If that’s how you feel, Kasey - really how you feel - fine. Tell me to leave you alone, right now, and you’ll never see me again.”
