Alizeh Mirdori.
Dizzy had a match against Alizeh Mirdori.
When she got the text and found out who the opponent would be for her fourth After Dark match, she’d thought for sure it was some kind of typo. Wrestlers like Alizeh were at the top, the tippy top, of LAW’s hierarchy. They fought in blistering, blazing matchups. They wrestled for belts. They were current and future champions. They were the people LAW put on their merchandise, they signed the big deals, they had the huge fanbases.
You did not see them participating in stuff like what Dizzy had been getting up to with her After Dark matches. Nothing against Yutani Oshima or Viper Weiss. They were top-notch wrestlers in their own rights, and she hadn't stood a chance against them. But they didn’t have the history in LAW that Alizeh brought to the table. Here she was, a Young Lioness with not a lick of high-level experience, taking on one of the best her business had to offer.
It was crazy. Crazier still because, apparently, Alizeh had asked to wrestle her specifically.
That little tidbit baked Dizzy’s noodle the most, and she was still pondering it even now, as she paced about the ring, driving the referee crazy with her constant movement and muttering. She was in one of LAW’s private backstage rings, and everything was setup for all the kinky fun - the ring, set up in the middle of what appeared to be a large bedroom, with a fluffy pink floor, a plush queen-sized bed, and all the toys they could want decorating the walls. It was all she could’ve asked for, but she was too far in her own head to pay it much mind.
Maybe she was looking for an easy win? But that didn’t make sense, her record was already quite solid, from what Dizzy remembered. Her mother had made her watch a few of Alizeh’s matches, and she’d won those handily. They weren’t even in the same weight class, so beating someone like her wouldn’t be much of a feather in her cap.
It just didn’t make sense. But she supposed she would have all the time in the world to ask Alizeh when she arrived. For now, she did her best to keep calm and went into her stretching routine, figuring she might as well stay limber.
Dizzy…ready for action?
