GOD(-san) vs Fallen Angel; Sachiko Kanda vs Maria Crawford

Sachiko watched Maria carefully, noticing the hesitation the English Dominatrix was wrestling with in her mind. Sachiko knew and her knew that if this fight turned into a slugfest that, ten times out of ten, Maria would be knocked out on the floor, like most of the other men and women that ever dared to throw punches with her. Not that she could blame her, even among WA royalty, the list of women that could go blow for blow and come out on top was a short one, with few being excited to try and make it onto that list.

After a good moment or two, Maria seemed to finally have resolved herself and brought her arms up, seemingly inviting Sachiko to lock up with her in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Sachiko could see what Maria was up to and she had to admit, it was a smart move. If she could make the match a "wrestling" match instead of a "boxing" match, then it would give her a far better chance. Sachiko could disregard the invitation easily...but that just wasn't her style.

"Okay, Maria. Let's see how much you've improved." Sachiko thought as she approached Maria and locked-up with her, all while being cautious of whatever sort of cheap trick the Dom might try to pull. Time to see if Maria's strength had improved enough to give Sachiko a good run in the opening exchange of this match.

It was a small thing, but Maria breathed a sigh of relief when Sachiko looked like she was accepting the tie-up. While the woman wasn’t a weakling by any means and was undoubtedly competent in pure wrestling skills, the prospect of keeping this as a test of wrestling skill was certainly preferable. A single punch from the green-haired bruiser was one more than she wanted to take. Even if she did come out on top in the end, she would much prefer leaving the ring without many bruises.

The two met and locked horns, with Maria immediately getting a feel for Sachiko’s raw power, pushing her back a few steps before she dug in with her heels and stopped the retreat. While her opponent was the stronger woman between them, winning a contest like this boiled down to far more than just physical might. On the technical side, she had things covered.

Maria rocked back, gave a little ground, then ducked low and spun under her opponent’s shoulder, coming out behind her. She grabbed Sachiko’s arm as she went and tried to pull her into a hammerlock, trapping her with the deft move so she could start early work on that arm.

Unsurprisingly, when the two Angels locked horns, it was Sachiko that quickly took the lead between them. It was obvious at a glance that between her and Maria, that Sachiko had the superior power, her training as a boxer required her to be able to land devastating blows on her opponents, something that many an Angel in the locker room could attest to. What did surprise Sachiko though was that Maria would dig in her heels and stop them both after a few steps back. "Good to see your improvement wasn't just for show, Maria." Sachiko thought to herself as she eyed Maria carefully to see what she would do next.

She wouldn't have to wait long though as Maria would proceed to rock back and duck, causing Sachiko to briefly lose her balance and allow Maria to get behind her and grab her left arm! Before she could pull away, Maria would Sachiko's arm back and put it against her back in a hammerlock hold! "Gah" Sachiko would grunt in pain as Maria began her work. It was obvious she intended to work Sachiko's arms as much as possible to take some of the power from her punches. It was a smart tactic, and one that Sachiko would more than likely have to put up with during the entirety of this match. For now, need to try and endure it until she could find an opening or until Maria made a mistake to get free.

So far, so good. Though, really, Maria would count every second of this match when she wasn’t getting punched in the face as a small victory.

Right now, she was in a good place, having managed to not only get behind the boxer, but neutralize one of her two best weapons, holding her arm hostage and applying pressure with the hammerlock. She knew she couldn't stay here forever, but she could milk the moment for all it was worth, pulling the limb further and further into a position it was never designed to go.

”Feeling some discomfort, ‘GOD-san’?” She chuckled at the moniker, hearing it out loud made it sound so silly. And people called her arrogant. ”Spoiler: It’s only going to get worse.”

She demonstrated why in the next moment, as she ducked under Sachiko’s free arm, grabbed her from the side, lifted her up, and brought her crashing down right on her shoulders, trying to nail her with a hammerlock version of the classic backdrop suplex.
