Reiko Hinomoto vs. Ms. Spencer - Refresher Course

A good footing, a solid base, and perfect timing - once again, Ms. Spencer was impressed with her words, glad she hadn't fallen flat attempting such a move. The mud could be especially punishing for wrestlers like her, who did their best work with traditional moves, doubling the effort required for even the simplest things, but considering how long it had been since she last attempted such things, she was doing well despite rust.

She was certain that Ms. Hinamoto could say similar things when she was in control of the match - if that happened. For now, however, Ms. Spencer was firmly in the driver’s seat, and she was of a mind to keep it that way for as long as possible.

After landing the suplex, she looked over to see her opponent laid out, reeling from the blow, the mud doing little to cushion her impact. A prime pinning opportunity. While she had little faith in its success, she wished to keep the pressure on her opponent at all times, to keep her on the edge and give her no quarter, so she rolled over, threw herself onto Reiko’s chest, pulled her leg inward and went for the pinfall.

The referee was clearly not used to operating in mud, nearly slipping as she rushed over, but she made it, dropped down and began the count.

Laying in the cold mud with the sun’s rays shining down on her, Reiko writhed in the mud with her face barely above the surface of the mud as she tried to pull herself back together. The weight of the mud clinging to her body was immediately felt as she was slow just even sitting up, giving her opponent enough time to splay herself on top of her, pushing her back down into the mud as she hooked her leg!

She gritted her teeth as Ms. Spencer folded her with a hold on her leg and gave everyone watching a good look at her mud covered rear as the referee got into the position slower than usual as she smacked the mud once.

But once was all Reiko was willing to give her as she brought her other leg up, thrusting it upwards while shoving her arms to kick Ms. Spencer off of her! Her pride as a Wrestler wasn’t willing to let her opponent even get a second count on her this early in the match as she rolled onto her hands and knees, keeping herself above the mud to catch her breath as mud dripped off of her body!

While Ms. Spencer had never gotten to know Reiko on a personal level, she had always respected the woman as a competitor. Steadfast, honest, hardworking, she was the sort of young woman that she wished Ms. Welsh could grow into, someone who could approach the sport with dignity and grace. Rumble Roses had been right to make her the company's mascot in all but name, the perfect flagbearer for what their sport could be at its greatest.

That being said, the competitor in Muriel had always seen the woman as something as a rival, and she’d greatly hoped that her skills hadn't diminished since they parted ways. As she pulled her in for the pinfall, this was a brief but prescient worry, one that dissipated when she managed to kick her way out after a count of one. No, this Rose had no shortage of petals to pluck.

Good. ”Very well, Ms. Hinamoto.” Muriel nodded as she rose up behind her fallen foe. ”Let us continue.”[/color=#800000]”Let us continue.”

Not wanting to give her opponent too much leeway, Muriel moved in swiftly, reaching down to grab hold of her opponent’s foot. It wouldn’t be the easiest thing to do in the slippery mud, but she tried to twist her with an Ankle Lock, hoping to do some damage to her lower body and further hamper her movement in the volatile substance.

Forcing her shoulder up and splashing mud about, Reiko managed to save her chances at victory and kept herself in the match as she shoved upwards into Ms. Spencer, forcing the older woman off of her. Her breath washed over the mud, sending small ripples with each breath she took as she tried to get onto her fours to recollect herself.

Mud dripped off of her body, from her chin down to her chest, but as she tried to catch her breath her opponent was already in position to continue her onslaught as she picked her foot! Reiko's eyes widened as her leg was lifted up into the air, wrenched on by the painful joint hold! "Nnnngh!!" Reiko cried out, her body hanging just above the mud as Ms. Spencer held her foot in her busom!

A weakened leg was going to be a great disadvantage, especially while she had the mud to slow her movements, Reiko knew she couldn't be in this for long. Thinking quick, she took a breath as she dipped forward, tucking in and attempting to roll forward to either slip her leg out or if Ms. Spencer proved to be tenacious, send her tumbling forward into the mud!

Muriel held the ankle tight, making sure to keep it clutched tight against her chest. Leg spread wide, good base, all she could ask for with this mud in the way. It was important to remember the fundamentals, even now - while she was fairly certain the idea of this whole thing was for them to get down and roll about in the dirt, she had no intentions of ditching her training and resorting to a base catfight, and it was good that Reiko seemed to be of a similar mind. They were Rumble Roses, they were above that.

The Zero Fighter would prove that now, when she engaged in a canny escape, more than most would have the wherewithal to even attempt. Muriel had been fighting to keep her position and even considering whether or not she should attempt to scissor the leg, when the woman tumbled forward and pulled her along for the ride, forcing her to roll forward just to avoid falling flat on her face.

It wouldn’t have been the easiest maneuver on a draw surface, but the mud made it unpredictable, irritating, awkward. Muriel popped to her feet and spun about, only to nearly fall flat at the last second, barely maintaining balance. After a second of adjustment, she brought her arms up in defense and looked forward, unsure of how Reiko would capitalize.

The fact that both her and Ms. Spencer had elected to have a real women's wrestling match in mud, showed both of their experiences tussling around in the muck as Reiko rolled through, pulling Ms. Spencer with her as she now had a fresh coating of mud across of her body. But she had managed to free herself and sent her fellow Rose for a ride. Sitting up, mud rolling down her skin, she saw Ms. Spencer quickly rising to her feet but even with their experiences, the mud was still a wild factor in their balance.

Seeing a chance, Reiko quickly rose up herself as she wrapped an arm around the waist of Ms. Spencer, pulling her into her body as an audible wet smack rang out. Breasts mashed into breasts as Reiko's other arm joined in the wrapping, locking at the base of Ms. Spencer's spine, sinking her weight to leverage the hot Teacher up and over, twisting to toss her down into the mud with a Belly to Belly Suplex!

Muriel had suffered a setback here, but she was sure it would be a temporary one, easily recovered from. While Reiko had managed to turn the tides for the moment, momentum was still firmly on her side, as she had managed to stay in control for most of the match thus far. She was confident she could keep things on her side.

Just as soon as she got the mud out of her eye.

Yes, one of the more irritating things about a mud match was getting the infernal substance out of your most sensitive places, a fact that she was quickly reminded of after the tumble. It wasn’t the easiest thing to remove mud from one’s eyes while your hands were also muddy, but she made a go of it as she rose up, clearing her vision just in time to see Reiko rapidly closing in.

She tried to move away, to counter, to do anything to avoid Reiko’s grasp, but the Zero Fighter was too quick on the draw this time, and she was caught before she could get away, wrapped up in a slim but strong pair of arms. Her feet left the floor and she went sailing overhead as Reiko executed a picture-perfect belly-to-belly suplex, one that left her rolling all the way to the edge of the ring.

Muriel came to a stop on her chest and laid there for a moment, before she shook her head and began to push her way up.

Snapping back and popping her hips for maximum leverage to heave Ms. Spencer up and over her head while falling backwards into the mud. Another splash of mud erupted out with both bodies crashing down into to the pool. Reiko quickly sat up out of the mud, the fresh coating cascading down her body before settling to her skin, looking over her shoulder to see Ms. Spencer had placed much distance between them as such was a sign of a experienced wrestler such as her.

Rolling around onto her knees, Reiko quickly began to make her way towards Ms. Spencer, making sure that her momentum would continue to build to overtake this match, stomping through the mud to cut into the recovery time of her opponent!

Reaching the Canadian Teacher, her hands shot down for that cut off top that Ms. Spencer wore, it may have been considered a little underhanded but with all the mud and the slick nature of it on skin, Reiko wasn't going to take any chance as she pulled on it to get Ms. Spencer up out of the mud, positioning herself to get her head underneath the arm while her own release the shirt to wrap around the waist for more control over her opponent, dragging her back towards the center of the mud pit looking to press her advantage with another suplex, a Back to Belly variant!

Ah, yes. The legendary Reiko Hinamoto comeback. Muriel should’ve seen it coming.

While the Zero Fighter had never gone undefeated in Rumble Roses, there was a difference between winning against her and beating her. The woman had a dauntless spirit and was incredibly resilient, a fact that Anesthesia had learned the hard way on multiple occasions. Muriel knew that putting her down would be no mean feet, but even so, she found herself taken off guard by her opponent’s pugnacious riposte. So much so that she as easy pickings as the woman came to take advantage of the window she had created.

She had only just begun to rise when she felt Reiko grabbed at her top, forcing her upwards and pulling her in tight. Muriel recognized it as the beginnings of a belly-to-back suplex, but she wasn’t in a good position to do anything about it at the moment, still too stunned by the previous move to mount a competent defense.

Up she went and down came, hurled through the air by her opponent’s impressive attack. The mud did little to dampen the impact, and she rolled off her back and flopped to her stomach, her face down in the mud for an irritating moment. She stirred soon, but it was slow going, still stunned by the mounting damage.

Building upon a swell of momentum, Reiko Hinomoto was showing the depths of her wrestling ability even if it was inside of a mud pit. Undeterred by the goop, whether it was by experience or sheer determination she continued to execute her wrestling in spite of the mud weighing down her body! Lifting Ms. Spencer up, holding her parallel with the pool for a brief second, Reiko dropped all the way down to her back into the mud with another splash erupting around them!

Laying beside Ms. Spencer, her back felt some of the momentum of the impact but being able to distribute it across of her back, her opponent was ensured that she would not have the same fate. Trailing down her skin and coating her with a light brown coating upon her body as she rose up on her knees, she had a string of big momentum changing moves land on Ms. Spencer and she saw an opening!

Knee walking towards Ms. Spencer, splashing and shoving mud about as she hastily made her way across of the pit, she grabbed onto the shirt and short cut off jeans of her opponent, yanking on them to flop the Canadian Teacher on her back before laying across, pinning her down in the mud!
