Up Up Down Under vs Thundergirls

Brea and Yasmine were in the locker room getting ready for there match and excited to finally get some action as a tag team. "You still remember that move we worked on right?" Yasmine asked adjusting her top. "The one where you lift me up? Yeah, just make sure I actually land on someone" Brea replied as she adjusted her bottoms before both sat down to tie there boots almost at the same exact time. "Hey, theres a reason we practiced it like twelve times" Yasmine said with a giggle before standing back up and offering Brea a hand up that the blonde accepted with a smile. "Thanks. How do I look by the way" Brea asked before twirling a bit. "Great. What about me?" Yasmine replied stepping back to give her tag partner a better view. "Hot!" Brea replied with a giggle before grabbing Yasmine by the hand and leading them both out into the hallway and towards the curtain with them both skipping down the hall until they reached it.

The two then waited, there arms around one another, one might mistake them as lovers though Brea would deny that heavily despite Yasmine herself having a massive crush on the blonde. There music then started and the two stepped past the curtain onto the stage, the two making a pose by leaning against each others back before the two skipped down the ring high fiving fans along the ramp until they both were at ring side and both went up the steel steps before stepping inside the ring and went to opposite corners before climbing the turnbuckles and waved to the crowd before hopping down and walking to there corner with Brea exiting the ring showing that Yasmine would be the one starting them off.

Alaina couldn't believe it. After finally getting into a tag match not long ago to keep things rolling for The Thundergirls she was scheduled for a tag match again, filling her with joy, pride etc.

The problem is Tina was accidentally doubled booked and at an autograph signing a few hours away.

Clad in her two puece leopard print wrestling attire Alaina was running through the halls, trying to find someone... anyone... to replace Tina. If not then this would be a one vs. tag team handicap match which the amazon was okay with. She just had her heart set on representing The Thundergirls, not herself.

As she rounded a corner though she smiled and shouted, running up to a statuesque young blonde powerhouse.

"Valerie! I need you NOW! You are now my tag partner and honorary Thundergirl! Congrats! Now let's go bodyslam some bimbo streamers turned wrestlers!" Alaina said as she grabbed hold of Valerie half dragging half lifting her and running towards the gorilla position so they could make their entrance!

”...what?”

So, this was not how Valerie expected her day to go. Not at all.

It was only mere happenstance that she was even at the arena and in her wrestling gear. She was on standby duty - on call in case they needed someone to fill in for a match and to sign autographs. Not the most glamorous way to spend one’s Saturday, but she was more than happy to be a company woman and go along with it. She was being paid, after all.

But then, out of nowhere, Alaina popped out and grabbed her and suddenly she was in her first tag team match alongside the heavyweight champion of the world, and, and, and…

It was a little much.

”Whoa, whoa, whoa!” She tried to slam on the brakes as best as possible, with the Amazon tugging her along. ”What’s going on, now? Tag team match? Streamers? What?”

"Tina was booked a few hours away for a promotional event all while we were booked here for a tag match. We were supposed to wrestle some Aussie streamers turned wrestlers. Those little girls can't handle us so this will be a chance to see some amazons and dolls in the ring together again!" Alaina said slapping Valerie on the back as she kept walking to the gorilla position dragging Valerie with her.

"Hey! Kenji slight change, Valerie is an honorary Thundergirl tonight so when ya announce us adjust the combined weight and all that jazz accordingly. I will owe ya for this and thank you!" Alaina said to one of the workers she seemed to know at length as the two walked by.

The Thundergirls music played and the crowd roared seeing Alaina come out, holding her title high. They also cheered Valerie, but quite a few confused faces could be seen in the audience. "Just go with it." Alaina said to Valerie as they paused near the top of the ramp. "Lets flex on 'em." Alaina said with a chuckle. She stopped and flexed her biceps, tensing up her whole body and then striking another pose winking to the crowd as she wanted to try to intimidate the women she saw in the ring.

After the impromptu entrance Alaina and Valerie entered the ring and Alaina looked at Valerie. "I know that this was a bit hectic and unexpected. I will kick it off so you can hang out on the apron, watch that other partner of theirs and process things." Alaina said climbing through the ropes to start things off for her team.

”I just wait can we have a second to wait stop need to talk about this hey hey hey-”

So, this was taking her totally off guard, and there was little Valerie could do as she was dragged along by the bigger, older veteran wrestler. This wasn’t an opportunity she could refuse, a chance to team up with not only a champion but one of the most venerated female wrestlers of their generation - she just wished she had an opportunity to prepare for it, was all. Her mothers had warned her that opportunities like this could come out of the blue, that she had to seize them when they came her way, but…

Whatever. In for a penny, in for a pounding.

She came out alongside Alaina and tried not to look as nervous as she felt, most likely failing miserably in the process. She was more than happy to just get into the ring and face off against their opponents—two young women that Valerie didn’t recognize. Not a knock against them; she just didn’t pay much attention to the tag division because, well, she wasn’t a tag team wrestler.

”Right, I’ll just…yeah.” She nodded and slipped back between the ropes, taking her position on the apron and looking on. Maybe this would be an easy thing for her - she was the heavyweight champion, after all. She might not even need Valerie’s help, though she wasn’t even sure if that would be a good thing or a bad thing.

"It will all be fine, we got this and we'll just out-wrestle them!" Alaina said she stepped out towards the middle of thr ring holding her arms out to show the full extent of her muscular figure to intimidate the smaller Yasmine.

"Come on gamer girl, show the amazon what ya got!" Alaina said as she held her hands out for a grapple.

Brea let out a yawn as she leaned back in the corner as the two Aussie's waited for there opponent's to arrive. "Maybe they didn't even show up" Yasmine said putting her arms down on the top rope before resting her head on them. "Pfffttt that would be the luck, out first tag match and the bitches don't even show up for there smothering" Brea replied right before there opponent's music started up and the two women appeared. The two women were bigger though that didn't seem to bother the cocky Aussie's as Brea gave a dramatic yawn patting her mouth her hand as the two women walked down to the ring and soon both teams were in position ready for the match.

Brea then stood up straight looking Alaina up and down. "I have more than you can even handle Grandma!" Brea taunted as she walked towards her opponent smiling the entire time. Brea simply shrugged before tying up with her larger and likely much stronger opponent acting as if she has a chance in hell of matching the Amazon's strength.

Alaina smiled as this woman tried to talk down to her. This was going to be quite fun. DING DING DING! As the bell rang Alaina grappled with Brea and forced her back looking to barrel her painfully into a neutral corner across the ring! Alaina was going to follow up with crushing knee strikes to the abdomen hammering that torso as she kept Brea pressed against the turnbuckle!

"You don't know how hard granny can hit do ya?" Alaina asked as she kept the knee strikes coming!

There opponent's most certainly held the size and strength advantage over both and yet an overconfident Brea chose to grapple with a much larger and much stronger woman compared to her with Yasmine chewing on her lip knowing it was probably THE most stupid thing Brea could do right off the get go and she was proven right as the bell rang and Alaina near effortlessly went Brea into a corner. Brea's eyes widened trying to lash out as alarms went off in her head as her back touched the turnbuckles before feeling the Amazon's muscular legs and knee slamming into her stomach repeatedly driving a bit of air from her lungs with each consecutive hit taking advantage of the Australian blonde early.

Alaina powered Brea against the corner and landed her strikes to satisfying effect. She grabbed Brea up by the throat and lift her up with one hand before spinning around to send her crashing to the mat with a choke slam as she looked to really establish herself early! The amazon had to set a good example today after all. She was focused, unrelenting and not backing off even if the other team seemed to be in over their heads on paper. On paper didn't matter. Performance in the ring did and Alaina was giving this poor woman 100%!
