Small addendum to answer some questions thus far! These notes are also now attached to the main post.

• This is NOT first come, first serve. Please, take your time and don't feel pressured to rush!
• If you want to put forward multiple characters, then they need to have their own promo bit! However, multiple characters showing up in one promo are also accepted. ( i.e Joint promos between your own characters OR collaborating with OTHER rosters outside your own. )

A man is coming. You can see that he holding someone and he seems to just simply toss the unknown person to the side. *BUMP*

The man can be seen grabbing something and he comes out into the light with a microphone in his hand.
He went 9ut into the spot light.


"I am Blade, Blade McCharge, also THE BLADE OF THE WORLDDDDDD!

"I KNOW I haven't been wreslting on here and. I know I have been neglected like the other male wreslters. Getting treated like we are just nobodies or that we are jobbers for hire. The Blade thinks that is full of BS.

How can I the Blade of the world show my talent if no one got the balls to face me. That a load of crap. Do I look generic as all hell to you people? Call me Thanos because I seek to bring the male talent back up! We need not to be just some side gag.

I don't really care about march types of that what your thinking. I beilic3 in true equality not that half ass bullshit equality some people pedal. Despite my complaints I must say I am glad management is doing this tourment to give us a way to shine. If grt in there I ma not just doing it for me I ma doing it for the male roster as well! THAT ALL I GOT SAY ABOUT THAT! THE BLADE OF THE WORLD HAS SPOKEN!"

Blade goes to walk way and it seems he throws the mic at somekne and the person grunts and calls him a asshole.

The LAW audience was drawn to the big screen, as none other than Prayuth Sakda - international superstar, muy thai champion, and celebrated LAW signee - appeared on the screen. He sat behind a desk, wearing a thick black turtleneck, and from the look of the room around him, he was in a snazzy hotel room, with a starry night city seen through the windows.

The crowd had a mixed reaction to him - some of them were big fans of his movies, and rightly so, recognizing his talent and knowing he could hang in the ring. On the other hand, Thailand and Japan had some mixed histories and old wounds that hadn't healed. In particular, there was a long-standing rift between muy thai and Kyokushin karate, two similar styles that had clashed often in the past.

But that wasn’t what Pray was here for. Not today.

”Japan!” He gave the crowd a wave and got back a strong response. Off to a good start. ”Sorry I couldn't make it there in person this week. Got a lot going on with the premiere of Black and Blue - my new film, coming out in two weeks, only in theaters. Tickets are available now, see it in IMAX - and it’s been a whirlwind. But I wasn’t so busy that I didn’t hear the news.”

The crowd didn’t need to be told what that ‘news’ was. The rumbling had been going on all week, talk of their finally being a title for mixed matches. It had been the subject of much debate, and not all of it was in the positive, but the consensus was behind the idea of a mixed title. The intergender arena had been steadily growing for years now, and while it wasn’t near the size of the main league, it was definitely at the point where a male title would be viable.

”So, I know what you’re wondering. And, even if you’re not, I’ll answer the question, anyway: Is Prayuth Sakda, international superstar and muy thai champion going to throw his hat into the ring?” He smirked, reached up, pulled off an invisible hat, and threw it across the ring. ”You’re goddamn right, I am.”

Predictably, the crowd reacted mixed, with more than a solid chunk of them throwing curses his way. The ladies seemed more than happy with the idea, though. It's not too surprising; he always tested well with the female audience—one of the benefits of a body like this.

”You might not like it, Japan, but Prayuth Sakda is money. Big money. I’m no stranger to wearing gold.” He brought up his watch to prove it. Rolex, with encrusted jewels. ”You want to bring prestige to that title? Want to go international? You want that belt on my waist. That’s where it’s going, and anybody who stands in my way - male, female - they’re getting their head kicked in.”

Satisfied, he flopped back in the chair and sighed, smirking as he looked out over the audience from his side of the scream. Yeah, some of them hated it, some of them loved it, but none of them would ever forget it, and that was the most important thing. The hype machine was already churning.

”Prayuth Sakda is going to be the first ever male champion in LAW. Get used to it, people. I’m out.”

Fade to black. Done.

Lights, Camera, Action

(This is my female entry, should there be a need for more females)

TV screens flickered and lit up, with a shadowed figure appearing on screen, as if a horror movie had begun. A flash of lightning struck from outside as the shadowy figure, for a split second, had a purple hur, before going back into the shadows. There was a callous feminine cackle before the figure once again lit up due to a second bolt of lightning. Except this time, she stayed lit up, and it was Bernadette Delafosse.

Bernadette

"I hear that you all are going about having these little tournaments without acknowledging that I am already the best? How uncouth and rude of you. Then it looks like I will have to force my way in. Thats right, I, Bernadette Delafosse, will be in this event, and I will crush every last one of you like pathetic little flies. But you are more than welcome to try and defeat me. Ohohoho, what am I thinking, you lot wouldn't stand a chance!"

The TV flickered off to black and there was a few seconds of silence. Then, the screen showed a feather quill moving across the screen, with the words "Come at me, if you dare" being written in fancy handwriting, before the quill evaporated into dust. Finally, Bernadette could be heard cackling from behind the screen.

The screen abruptly cut to another promo applying for the Kings and Queens tournament - but to many, this was one that came as a surprise. When it came into focus, it zoomed in on a scene that wasn’t familiar, and a face that many watching along didn’t recognize. A young man dressed in swim trunks that showed off his muscular build stood on the shore of a tropical beach somewhere, the sun shining behind him and the waves lapping in the distance. At his side, a blue-haired woman similarly dressed for the occasion sat in a reclining chair. In the arena, a few gasps and cheers - some in response to the sight of the unfamiliar challengers, and some just in response to the couple’s looks - could be heard. It was the first time anyone had seen these two in LAW - but if all went according to plan, it wouldn’t be the last.

”Greetings, LAW!” the man said, lifting his hand in a wave as he grinned to the camera. ”So, I know what a lot of you are thinking. I guess a few introductions are in order. I’m Luke Cranston - second-generation wrestler, former champion bodybuilder, and indie star, and this is my lovely wife Flora.” Flora rose from her seat, taking a bow to the camera. ”We’re recording this video from Hawaii - not just because we like to vacation in style, but because it’s right on the way to Tokyo, where we’ll be stopping to sign our contract with Dan the Man himself! That’s right - for all of you watching the indies, the American Hercules is coming to LAW!”

“Now, you might be wondering, why LAW? Why now? Look, I didn’t need to stay with the indies as long as I did. I’m married to a top model, and I was raking in the gates because wherever I went, I drew. Every big promotion out there was waiting to make me a star. But I held off because I couldn’t see myself in any of those places. I was always holding out for something more. Something that really spoke my language, y’know? Because you see where I’ve come in my life, you know the American Hercules doesn’t settle.”

“And, look, I don’t mean to speak ill of my future employer…but LAW was never high up on my priorities. You’ve been highlighting the mens’ side of your roster for a while now, but I’m sorry, I’m just gonna say it, it’s never been all that stacked. Like, I’m sorry, look at the male signings LAW has announced. For the longest time, it looked like all you had to offer was a bunch of twinks and jobbers…and that old guy from United Kingdom Wrestling; has he ever actually been on a televised show? Whatever - what matters is, didn’t really seem worth my time. Why should I bother settling for a promotion where there wouldn’t be any competition at all? But now, things are different.”

“So, I heard about this Kings and Queens tournament? That you’re putting together a tournament designed to showcase the mixed gender side of the roster? And with a belt at the end for whoever can win it all? That’s when it hit me…LAW deserves better than what it has. If you want to claim you’ve got a mens’ division worth watching, it’s about time somebody stepped up to the plate and made that statement correct. A true specimen, if you will. And that’s where I come in.”

Luke drew closer to the camera then, as Flora flocked to his side, hanging off his arm. ”What have I got to offer to LAW? Well, let this speak for itself…” He flexed a bicep, showing off his powerful build, before chuckling a little at his own display. ”But, seriously, I’m not trying to show off - ladies, please, I’m spoken for - but I’m making a point. Suppose one of the guys ends up winning the tournament. Who do you want to see the belt on? Who do you want in all the photos, getting all the attention? Who do you want to be the face of half the roster? Some vanilla midget? Or this guy, right here?” This time, he flexed both arms, puffing out his chest. ”But don’t think it’s just about the body, because I know my way around the ring, too. These muscles are for function and form. And when you see me throwing these guys across the ring like it’s nothing…then you’ll see the potential the intergender division at LAW really has to offer! You want intergender wrestling to put butts in seats? The only thing holding you back is yourself - but I just might be the missing ingredient.”

With that, he turned to the camera one last time, flashing a winning grin, before he pulled his wife in for a kiss. The screen went dark. But one way or another, change was coming to LAW - Luke Cranston would make sure of that!

Audrey's Instagram follower count was a number that would be considered modest at best. She wasn't a big star by any means, but still she managed to draw in her own little niche crowd, and it was mostly for them that she performed. Normally, that was enough for her. She didn't care about pushing her subscriber numbers to new heights or making sure her every upload was trending. Her small social media presence was solely a way for her to connect with the small fanbase she had, nothing more. And she was fine with that.

But today, though, she watched with glee as the view counts on her most recent reel skyrocketed, and a few extra followers tricked onto her page. Tagging the official LAW account no doubt had something to do with it. Which, of course, was the whole point. Worst case scenario, even if she wasn't selected, she'd done her part in pushing the promotion.

The redhead felt quite giddy over the attention her announcement was getting, and so she decided to replay it for herself one more time, making sure to sign into her backup account so she'd be seeing it just as all her followers would - without all the analytics.

Audrey-on-screen stood with a smirk on her face in one of the LAW locker rooms,

; the camera was a little shaky, and her arm extended out of the frame, a clear sign that she was holding her phone as she recorded.

"Hey there, Sparklers! Got some news for all y'all thirsty nerds that I think you're gonna enjoy.

"So, for those who don't know, LAW's about to host an official mixed tournament, and it's kinda a big deal! We've got a ton of lovely ladies here, and we all know they can kick some ass. And it's no secret to any of you who've been following me that there's also plenty of men here that can kick names and take ass, too. I suspect that's why at least half of you horny bastards are here following me, hah!"

She took a moment to shake her head, with roll her eyes, sending some loose strands of hair swaying. Still, she kept on her grin. She knew why people liked her, might as well play it up.

"But, it might come as a surprise to my dear thirsty followers that the mixed division has only recently been taking off! Crazy, I know. Now, I'm not saying I have anything to do with it, but, well, let's face it, I've made plenty a male look good in the ring, haven't I?"

Another quick pause to wink into the camera.

"Anyway, this tournament is a grand opportunity to showcase how us women can hang with the men... or rather, how the men can hang with us! In case you can't already see where I'm going with this, I'm going to do my part in making sure this tournament in a success! And that's why, right here and now, I am officially submitting my name."

The redhead held up a finger to the camera, as if to silence a crowd.

"Now, before y'all get your hopes up, I can't promise anything. There are limited spaces available, and believe me, I am well aware of my record. And then, assuming I am selected, I can't say what kind of match they'll give me. Because let's be real here, it's no secret that I ain't afraid to fight dudes. And after the kinds of mixed matches I've already been through, it'd be hard to give me anything worse, right? So there's no point in limiting myself."

Her smile slipped a bit as her expression turned a bit more serious.

"But listen, whether I get picked or not, I want y'all to watch as many matches in this tournament as you can. A mixed division is only one branch, but having that branch thrive will only help boost the entire organization. These guys-"

The redhead paused again, thinking over her words. She couldn't justifiably say what she was about to, given the proof that existed.

"Well, most of these guys are good, respectable people, and they deserve a chance to accomplish something here, too."

Audrey's smirk returned as she prepared to finish.

"And if that all isn't enough for you lot, look at it this way; a thriving mixed division means you'll get to see more of me being twisted like a pretzel. I know you sick freaks love that shit. So step up and give this tournament all your support, and show them that you want more!"

I'll update y'all soon as I hear back. Till then, stay feisty!

The reel ended there. Audrey was quite pleased with it, all things considered. Her performance generally shined more in action rather than in words, but no one could say she hadn't put in any effort. All there was left to do was wait.

[APlaying]

Having just finished filming several scenes for her next projects, Snow had finally made time in her schedule for this moment. During these months she had worked hard to get ahead with her career as a professional wrestler, while not neglecting her work as an actress. Now that she finally had the freedom to fight the fights of her choice, she decided to give herself the luxury of participating in events that would further her career in LAW. The stage spotlights immediately dimmed, as the instrumental version of her entrance theme began to play and the lights slowly turned blue, and Snow's silhouette began to lighten on the screen. She was on one of the recording sets where they were filming one of the projects she was working on, showing a nice smile as usual in her entrances.

Among the audience, her fans and loyal followers shouted with euphoria at her presence, the audience in general was excited to know how she would be announced in this event, after a few seconds of silence from the actress, the cameraman would give her the signal to start.

Snow

"Very good afternoon everyone!" She would say enthusiastically "Although I was not able to attend personally today, I want to tell you that your support so far has given me a lot of strength, to overcome the obstacles that have been presented to me during these months, which I have spent enjoying fighting for the circuit." I would say very positive about it.

"But the fact is, it's time to look for challenges, more challenges to face." He would settle back in his seat to pose firmly. "Since I've been doing martial arts, I've always been excited about the idea of being able to take on people who have a good physical advantage over me, to take them down and dominate them even though I'm smaller. And an event that consists of facing men and women sounds very great, I knew it was something that I would not allow myself to pass up, I know that the girls who sign up for this event will be tough enough to defeat men twice their size, and it will give the public a good show where they will not know who to support, if their favorite professional wrestler or the gentleman who manipulates her like a braid". He would say with a chuckle, the audience would also let out a few laughs.

"So as many of you know, in my movies I am constantly facing opponents that are not only twice but even three times my size. And many times I'm the one who comes out on top, but it's time to prove that I'm capable of doing it off-screen as well. And if any man thinks he's going to get his first title shot in LAW, he's going to be sorely disappointed when they're floored to see me take that away from them." She exclaimed excitedly as she clenched her fists tightly showing a challenging expression.

The audience applauded as the screen went dark and her theme song slowly stopped playing.

[Bare]

Second female entry

"AWHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

A loud wolf howl immediately came through as soon as the feed cut in on the next promo, before the scene came through, showing a old school wrestling ring, not the clean, new model ones LAW used, no this one looked like the old beat up ones that had entertained people decades prior. A single spotlight shone down on the ring, leaving the rest of the venue in shadow, except for four posters in the back that had hanging lights over them, showing the lucha masks on them offering at least some idea of where this may be, or who may be speaking, at least until in the next moment or so a figure sudden leaped past the camera and over the ropes, landing in the ring elegantly before they popped to their feet, revealing it to be none other than LAW's newest Luchadora La Dama De Loba!

Striking a pose as she did so the camera would be lifted up and smoothly approach the ring while Loba smiled and cartwheeled backwards to create some room as the camera angle settled on top of the corner, causing Loba to look up with a smile just barely visible past her mask. "Hola como estas? La Dama De Loba here, and if you don't know about me yet that's fine, I'm still new after all. But for those of you who don't know, but can plainly see, I'm a Luchadora, one of the best you'll ever find! I trained in Mexico under the best and I've been inspired by the best!" As she said this Loba would puff out her chest proudly while the feed cut to show clips of her training, along with a old home video of a teenaged Loba watching a Kat Hart match live before cutting back to her in the ring.

Smirking a bit and relaxing Loba would roll her neck while lifting her fists up. "I'm still... very new to LAW, but in the short time I've been here I've already fought one man, and I've fought many before I came here, as well as women, I'm not one to shy away from conflict, in fact despite my happy and bright demeanor I LOVE to fight. It's the wolf in me." At this Loba would grin a bit wildly for the camera as she approached it. "Wolves, love to fight, its how we establish dominance, now with wolves, they stick to fighting within their gender, its how they determine the alpha male and female..." Loba said while pausing just in front of the camera, a smirk falling from her face before looking up with what could only be described as hunger in her eyes.

"I'm not like that though. Male? Female? Bring them all on, I'll eat them all up and pin or submit them or ko em! Cause its my time now, Loba time, and I won't be denied! I'll fight, and claw and bite my way through any and all challenges, I won't just be Queen of the Ring, I'll be the Alpha of the Ring, standing above everyone, and that will just be the start! The start of La Dama De Loba, you can all bet on that! Awhooooo!" As she said this, getting more and more worked up by the second Loba would walk towards the camera before swinging her leg up as she did so, showing surprising flexibility for a girl her size as she brought her foot up to smack the camera right in the lenses, forcibly cutting off the feet with one final howl!

Drake Benton Promo Post.

Interviewer: “This is Mai Kobayashi and I’m here with ”The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton. Drake, how are you today?

”I’m hungry.”

Interviewer: “Oh I’m sorry. We can get you a snack.”

”A snack won’t cut it. What I hunger for is violence and gold. And this upcoming tournament will provide me both.”

Interviewer: “I see… What does this tournament mean to you?”

“It means I finally get the opportunity to prove that I’m a top guy. In a proper division where I belong. Hardly any men fought each other in LAW before me. LAW had no formal mixed division with a championship when I arrived. So I made it. I destroyed everything LAW threw at me. If anyone should be a mixed champ-

Interviewer: “Open Gender Championship, actually”

“What the fuck ever. If there’s a championship for men, I deserve it because just look at me. I’m a dominant athlete. I came to LAW and I made an impact. Just ask Oscar.”

Interviewer: “Your actions in LAW have been surrounded by great controversy. First you brutally assaulted Oscar Orela-”

”Heheheheh that was pretty funny.”

Interviewer: “You then engaged in multiple backstage altercations with other wrestlers, have a history of controversial tweets, and even were disciplined for throwing chairs into the crowd during your match against Rylie Marshall.”

“Listen, it’s not my fault the wrestlers in this company are soft and can’t cash the checks their mouths write when they go toe to toe with me. I’m a conversation starter. People talk about me. They may boo me. They may hate me, but I live in their head rent free. You want ratings. You want people or care about this sport? Put me in, coach!”

Interviewer: “Oscar Orelash has put in for the tournament. Any thoughts if you two are matched up?”

”I’d beat his ass like I did before. It’d basically be a bye round for me. It would be pretty baller if I bulldoze past him to championship gold.”

Interviewer: “One person you didn’t bulldoze was The Rascal Rylie Marshall. She defeated you to retain the Lawless-“

”Fuck this. Lemme just say that I pushed her to THE LIMIT. And I’ve continued to train like a maniac since that loss. In this tournament, it doesn’t matter who’s in front of me, man or woman. They’re just a steppingstone on my way to championship gold. Because I am championship material and I will show it when I destroy anyone LAW puts in front of me!

Oh and since you mentioned it, can I have that snack now?”

Interviewer: “And that’s time. Powerful statement from Drake Benton. Will he be entered in the tournament? Back to you.”

Alexios Promo Post.

”Yiassou. I am Alexios Laskaris, also known as the Iron Titan. And I am putting in for the Open Gender Championship tournament.

<Camera cuts to Alexios bench pressing 225 lbs while talking>

I am a fighter, a wrestler, a warrior. I always train. And I have been training for an opportunity like this.”

<Alexios finishes his bench press set and the camera cuts to him holding two Olympic silver medals>

“I put all my blood, sweat, and tears into winning these. Not just for myself, but for my country Eλλάδα.”

<Camera cuts to Alexios talking while doing pullups>

”After the Olympics, I was faced with a choice. Become a corporate drone obsessed with endorsements and influencing on behalf of the corporate overlords, or build my own career my own way. So I came to LAW to work from the ground up and make myself into a star. And this tournament is my chance. I will win the LAW Open Gender championship!”

<Camera cuts to Alexios Greek dancing while Greek music plays>

”Greek culture is rich with stories of heroes. Winning glory in combat… being remembered for eternity… it’s in my blood. I will prove it to you come tournament time.”

<Camera cuts to Alexios cooking a beautiful Greek-style chicken, potatoes, and Greek salad.>

“Oh and LAW? Get you a man who can do it all.”
