Angie Samson vs. Bast - Stepping Stone

Unread post by BlackAkuma »

Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Victory by pinfall, submission, or knockout.

***

Cersei was in a bad mood. When Cersei was in a bad mood, everyone around her was in a bad mood, and since Bast was invariably within shouting distance of her sister…

She’d been raging all day, ever since she heard who their opponent for the night was. Apparently, LAW management had responded to Cersei’s demands for competition by serving them up a match against some fresh rookie - while they didn’t know too many specifics about the woman, it hardly mattered as far as Bast’s sister was concerned. She just saw it as a slap in the face - someone unworthy, another wrestler far beneath the level she wanted them to be at. She was never the sort to exercise patience. When she wanted something, she wanted it now, and right now she wanted nothing less than to be at the top of the heap.

It was impatience, it wasn’t going to get them anywhere, and Bast would’ve told her sister as much if she thought she would listen.

”Slow down.” Bast took longer steps than usual as they made their way down the ramp to keep up with her sister, as the smaller woman came stomping down towards the ring for their match, moving remarkably fast for a woman in high heels. ”The ring isn’t going anywhere.”

Cersei groaned, but she did bring the pace down a notch, enough for Bast to keep up and the two of them to move side by side, looking like the unit they were supposed to be. ”I just want to get this done. If management isn’t going to take us seriously, I don’t see the reason we have to put any effort into this.”

There was no ‘we’ in this - Bast would be doing all the fighting while Cersei hung outside the ring, barking orders. But, again, she wanted to keep the peace, so it didn't serve her to point that out. Instead, she chose to keep her mouth shut and just enjoy her
, letting it help her focus as she came rolling into the ring.
Bast and Cersei

Bast made her way over to her corner as Cersei paced around the ring, doing her best to focus on the task at hand. While she wasn’t expecting much for competition, she knew better than to let her guard down. LAW could throw you surprises, she’d already learned that in her short time with the company, and she had to be ready for anything.

It was that time again, Angie was contractually obligated for another gruelling wrestling match... She dreaded the sunset as each passing minute would always mean it was closer to showtime for the audience and a night of misery for her. Even though she got a bit of training thanks to her friend Erika, she was still going in with pretty low expectations. Being kept in the dark so often can only lead to a greater feeling of anxiety, which was instead replaced with fear once she watched her opponent on the monitor make her way down to the ring.

"Why is there two of them?! I thought this was supposed to be a one on one match..."

Angie was in her usual position behind the curtain near the production staff who always seemed too busy to give her the time of day; It was getting more and more frustrating every time she had to wait by them wearing her stupid contractually obligated attire... She felt like she was going absolutely nowhere. She could only pray that her next opponent wouldn't hurt her too bad; But judging by her intimidating appearance that probably wouldn't be the case.

"I-Is this person a cage fighter?! What the fuck is wrong with you people??? She gonna fu-"

Angie's complaining was interrupted by the generic LAW music that accompanied her to the ring. The production staff once again completely ignored her as they waited for her to expectantly walk through the curtain. Angie scoffed slightly at the utterly rude behaviour before somberingly coming to the realization she may as well get on with it... It's not like they were gonna stop the match anyway.

And so she emerged once again into the cold arena. Her eyes couldn't even focus on the audience at all this time as she kept her gaze down at the ring where the muscular fighter stood... She felt like she was walking into a deathtrap. At least her other opponents looked like wrestlers, this Woman looked like she punched brick walls for a living. Angie gulped as she slumped her way down the ramp and towards the ring...

At ringside she noticed the other woman who accompanied the fighter looked more like she was a businesswoman as she stood outside the ring... Is she allowed to be here? Angie didn't really understand what a manager does but was appreciative that she wouldn't have to fight two different Women at once...

"~Oh... oh my god..."

Standing on the apron, Angie got a proper good look at her opponent. She was the most intimidating person she had ever seen. She was ripped beyond belief and carried the attitude of a hitman- Her stoic gaze shot right through Angie's terrified expression as she stared dumbfounded. She was wearing proper fighting gear; a black crop-top and tights... A intensely stark contrast to the loose stripper clothes Angie came to the ring wearing. It looked like a Hamster about to take on a Panther.

Angie simply stood on the apron holding the ring ropes; her mouth laid agape and her legs began to tremble. She was sure of it~ This was it. This was her last night on earth. This Woman was going to fucking destroy her.

No.

God damn it, no.

Bast felt a deep well of dread roil in her stomach as her opponent came stumbling out from the back, looking for all the world like a lost fawn in the woods. She could see the woman coming down to the ring, and she could already tell that she was a tiny thing, far smaller than her, not even close. To make matters worse, she wasn’t a fighter - Bast had been in combat her entire life, had fought all manner of opponents, and she could tell when someone was lacking in that experience. There was a way that a wrestler carried herself, that anyone with any sort of skill moved on their way to the ring, and she saw absolutely none of it in Angie. If she didn’t know better, she would’ve thought this was some fan who’d accidentally wandered down.

Bast groaned, already knowing the way her sister would react the moment Angie made it to the ring and she got a good look at her. Sure enough…

What is this nonsense?

Cersei hopped up on the ring apron to the side, looking between Angie and herself as if she was having trouble processing what was before her eyes. ”This is…this is…” She glared towards the blonde, as if she was some insect that had dared to crawl its way to their pristine ring, a bug in desperate need of squashing. ”That’s it. That is it. Bast!” She slid her finger across her neck. ”Make an example of her. We need to handle some business after this.”

‘Make an example’. Bast knew what that meant well enough, and she trusted that Angie did, too. She kept her face cool and placid as she turned to the smaller woman, but her inner workings were a different story, as she tried to put together a way forward here that didn’t involve crippling some poor woman in the ring.

After a moment, she sighed and curled her finger towards Angie. ”You.” Her expression softened, as she tried to coax her opponent into coming closer. ”I need a word with you.”

”You.”

The commanding words sent a shiver down Angie's spine as the fighter motioned for her to come closer; Angie's mind raced in a panicked frenzy as she imagined the horrible things this woman could do to her. Is it too late to run for it? Probably; this woman would catch her without breaking a sweat. On top of that, pissing her off like that would probably just make things worse. There really wasn't any way around this was there? Angie crossed the ropes to step into the ring properly; her whole body shaking erratically as she slowly shuffled step-by-step closer to her opponent.

The only positive Angie could see in this situation is a commendation for her own bravery; how she was able to even share a ring with this person was astounding. Or stupid. Angie stood directly in front of her opponent with her head bowed; completely unable to make eye contact with the Woman as Angie stared blankly at her solid abdomen.

"I..."

Angie tried to speak but did not even have a plan of what she was going to say. Should she beg or plead for mercy already? That didn't work well with her past opponents, they would simply use that as ammunition to continue their assault. Maybe she could ask a question or try to make herself seem relatable; maybe then she would go a little easier on her? Could she have some sympathy? All these questions raced through Angie's mind as the only sound from her was her exasperated breathing and intense heartbeat.

Good, Angie listened and followed instead of doing something stupid like trying to bum rush her or run away. She wouldn’t have blamed her for the latter - on paper, it might’ve been the smarter move. But while Bast wasn’t out to hurt her, she didn’t want to raise her sister’s ire any more than absolutely necessary. Cersei wanted an example, so she would get it. Or, at least, she would think she did.

Bast waited for Angie to sheepishly approach, then took a step forward and loomed over her, letting her shadow cast over the smaller woman. She emphasized the size difference between them, making the dire nature of her situation absolutely clear. Some in the audience booed, knowing the tragedy that was about to occur, but others cheered it only eager to see the poor woman get shredded. Bast figured they were the target audience. A sizeable portion of the LAW viewership weren’t interested in seeing competitive matches. They just tuned in to see people getting utterly demolished in the middle of the ring, often in sexual ways. The more brutal, the better, and Angie was on the menu.

With her face away from Cersei, she softened as the referee came towards them, preparing to start the match up. ”I’m going to have to throw you around a bit. It will hurt some, but listen to and do what I say, and I’ll try to make it look much worse than it actually is.” She straightened up a bit and folded her arms, still cutting an imposing figure, but not overly aggressive. ”I can get you out of this in one piece, but you need to trust me. Understand?”

God, she hoped this woman was smart enough to realize a good deal when she was offered one. And that she had some acting ability, that would be good, too.

As her opponent intimidatingly loomed over her, Angie felt the dread rise from her feet all the way up to her chest. Her empty gaze directed at Bast's body widened as the Tall woman bent over to speak to Angie~ She began hyperventilating and her entire body tensed up as Bast began to whisper to her- A... what?

Angie slowly stared up to look the Woman eye-to-eye properly; She looked down at Angie still with a stoic demeanour but not one that indicated she would lie for no reason. Angie was... confused. She really didn't know what to think, she really thought she was about to be completely crippled but maybe this Woman was telling the truth... S-she might actually have met the only competitor so far to show her any common decency, somebody that may actually understand the predicament Angie is in...

"O- ok... Th-thank.. you..."

Angie whispered a nervous thanks... maybe she would only get a little roughed up but... At least... She silently prayed that this Woman wasn't just toying with her like the others, not like she had a choice against her either way. Small tears already began to form in the corner of Angie's eyes; brought on by a combination of Fear, Confusion and Relief. She bowed her head down once again and told herself to play along. It would only hurt a little. Hopefully.

…was she crying? She was actually crying. Where had they found this woman at? Angie was pretty enough, but she clearly had no business in this ring, and it was a miracle that she had been put in a match with someone like her. She shuddered to think what would’ve happened if she had been put against a monster like Stone, who would have no qualms dismantling her if Stick willed her to.

It was a question for another time. For now, Bast’s only concern was getting Angie out of here in one piece. How best to do that?

Bast leaned forward as the bell rang, speaking just long enough for her voice to be heard over the ring. ”I’m going to ram you into the corner. Go limp, don’t fight it.”

She gave Angie just enough time to process what she was saying before she ducked down, let loose with a panther’s roar, and rammed her shoulder into her opponent’s stomach with a short charge. She wrapped her arms around the woman’s waist as she plowed forward to clutch her close, then lifted her off the floor and threw her up against the pads. She moved in right after she hit and pressed their chests together, keeping her pinned so she wouldn’t go flailing forward after the impact.

If Bast was expecting an act from Angie that wouldn't be hard to come by~ She braced for the worst as she expected every hit and maneuver to be as real as they came- Which explains her reaction as Bast lifted her up in the air while she plowed her shoulder into Angie's stomach.

"Ahh- AHHHHHH!!!"

Angie kicked her feet wildly as she was completely lifted in the air with ease; t-this was going too fast! She barely had time to feel anything before she was already being thrown into the corner turnbuckle! Her back impacted suddenly with the fabric of the turnbuckle which she tried to jump out of by instinct but was stopped quickly by Bast pressing her chest against Angie's squishy breasts!

"Ah.. uh... uhhh..."

Angie worryingly moaned but was a little shocked as- sh-she wasn't really hurt~ The impact scared her a bit and she felt their bodies pressing hard against each other b-but it... Maybe this lady was telling the truth... Angie's expression continued to have a mix of fear and confusion on it as Bast pressed herself against Angie just enough so she wouldn't fall forward- Angie could only pray silently at this point.

”Rip her to shreds!” Cersei cried out for blood at ringside and slapped the apron. ”I want her broken!”

The crowd was booing, Cersei was raging, the referee was looking over like she was about to watch a car wreck - so far, so good. Bast braced her feet and lurched forward, pretending to put far more effort into hold Angie in place than she actually was. In truth, she couldn't kept her pinned with one arm, and it wouldn’t have even been a struggle, but she needed to look like she was giving it her all, like she was the enraged beast they thought she was and that Cersei was baying for.

She brought one hand up, grabbed her own hair, and pulled it free, letting it cascade around her face, as she gave Angie a quick read. The woman still looked for all the world like a deer in the headlights, but she seemed to have calmed a bit, a good thing. It would make her easier to work with.

Bast gritted her teeth and let out a guttural growl, a wild animal’s cry, before she brought her lips next to Angie’s ear and whispered. ”I’m going to pretend to headbutt you. Sell it. Just jerk back, when I move forward, act like I’m knocking you senseless.”

Bast reared back, took a deep breath, then whipped her head towards Angie’s at high speed, letting her skull come close, so close to smacking against her head. She stopped at the last instant, however, as her freed hair flew forward, covering the nonexistent impact. It would all fall to Angie’s acting skills, though - they both needed to participate for this dance to work.

Angie was breathing heavily as she remained pinned in the corner~ she looked with wide eyes at Bast for answers as the tall woman leaned forward to give her more instructions...

"o-ok..."

Angie looked forward nervously as Bast began to lean her head back; despite Angie knowing she should expect it to not hurt- she still winced and let out a few nervous breaths before Bast was ready to strike... As Bast's head began to shoot forward, Angie didn't even need to act~ She let out a terrified yelp just before Bast's head stopped right in front of her face! Angie froze for a second- and after probably too long randomly shook her head from side to side- She then loosened her muscles and let her body go limp as Bast continued to hold her up in the corner- It probably looked... Well Angie wasn't quite sure- this was all happening so fast! She closed her eyes and pretended to look like she was sleeping... Is that the same as being knocked out?
