Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
Angela sat up a few moments later, running a hand through her hair and shaking off the hit. It was hardly the first time she’d been hit with that move, and with no offense to Gold Ace, it was far from the worst. The little guy had speed, but the bodyweight wasn’t there to make it truly devastating on her end. If nothing else, though, she had to admire the man’s drive.
Dizzy wasn’t of a similar opinion at the moment - partly miffed about what just happened to her Mom, partly miffed that she was in the middle of getting thrashed. She was still reeling when he lifted her up and got close - real close - mashing their bodies together as she looked at him with wide eyes.
Before she could state just how iffy she was on the flirting thing, he jerked back and sent her flying overhead, launching her with a suplex. Her lightweight body soared across the ring, and she came down hard on her back, rolled once, then rested face down. She stayed there for a second, too, before she began the slow, arduous process of trying to push up to her feet, groaning all the way.

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
He could do this, he could do this, he could do this!
Dizzy was down, and her mother, even if she hadn't actually interfered in the match at all, was down, meaning she couldn't warn or advise Dizzy for the moment, which meant he had full opportunity to capitalize and bring this match to a close.
With Dizzy starting to slowly push herself up again, Ace moved to the turnbuckle corner most opposite the girl, bending his knees and watching, waiting, his body trembling with excitement and anticipation. Before she was fully up to her feet, but upright enough for his purpose, he charged in towards her, putting his speed to go use and clearing the distance in no time, jumping as he reached her and swinging one leg out towards her in an arc, his leg stretching past her head as it swung, and if his timing was right, if she didn't duck or counter him, the flat of his foot would soon "SMACK" against the back of her head as he nailed her with his enzuguri like version of the Shining Wizard, or as he called it, the Shining Ace!

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
Okay. Okay, this was bad, but not irreparable, right? Right.
Dizzy just had to get up, that was the main thing. She was running out of gas, but this match hadn't gone too bad, all things considered. If she could just get up, she could figure out something, come up with a way to turn things around. She just had to stand up, find Gold Ace, and then move on from there.
Only problem: Where was Gold Ace?
She found out the answer to that question in the worst way possible, as the man came rushing at her before she could rise up all the way. He was on her knee, there was a flash of movement in the corner of her eyes, and all she knew was that a lot of pain followed it. Dizzy went flying away from the impact, came down hard on her back, and found herself staring up at the light, blinking and wondering what the number was on the truck that just hit her.

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
NAILED IT!
Several in the audience winced as they saw and heard the "SMACK" of Ace's foot nailing the back of Dizzy's head, sending the girl tumbling across the mat until she landed flat on her back. It was a well executed move, and Ace hoped that, if his moms were watching, they'd approve of his technique.
Ace pushed himself back up and scrambled over to the fallen body of Dizzy, hooking both of her legs, pulling them high enough up in the air that the girls cute butt was pointing up, his upper body draping over her own as he pinned her, the referee dropping down to make the count:
"ONE!"

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
Ow. Ow. Ow.
Dizzy laid there, groaning, as she tried to blink the world back into existence. She’d taken hard hits before, but never quite like that one before, shutting her entire body down. She wouldn’t be getting up anytime soon, which likely meant…
Yup, she was getting pinned.
”2…!”
Dizzy tried to squirm her way out as he held her tight, but her body wouldn’t respond. Nothing was moving, nothing was happening, the best she could manage was a little twitch, and that wasn’t nearly enough to get things moving. She was done.
”3…!”
She groaned and flopped back, relaxing now that the match was over and taking a breather. Sure enough, her mother came in under the ropes a second later, coming over and kneeling beside her. ”Dizzy, are you okay?”
”Yeah, yeah, I’m fine.” She rubbed her skull. ”Might have a bump later, but otherwise fine.”

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
There was the first count, the second, cmon cmon...YES! THREE!
With the third pin counted, the referee signaled for the bell to ring, and Gold Ace released the woman's legs, jumping up to his feet and raising his arms in the air in celebration. He did it! He won! Years of training, years of being a fan, of practically growing up in a wrestling ring, and he had scored a victory in his very first match, the referee girl coming up to him and raising his arm in the air, while the crowd, who barely knew who he was, gave him a polite applause for his victory, feelings of pride and elation bubbling in his chest as he pointed at the nearest camera, first making his signature "A" hand sign, then speaking towards it.
"Moms, Sis, I know your watching, this win was for you guys!"
With that message delivered, and after basking in the glow of victory for another couple of moments, he turned back to look at his fallen opponent, seeing her mother checking on her. Well...he had some apologizing to do, didn't he?
He walked up to the pair, first looking down at Dizzy, offering her a friendly grin and a thumbs up. "Heya. I hope your heads alright. I just wanted to say, thanks for a great fight, really. You were good! You scared the hell out of me, you had me like 3 different times, I barely escaped!" he exclaimed, not hyperbolizing any of his words, before he turned at looked at her mother, his friendly smile now faltering into a more nervous looking one, as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his blonde head. "Uh...Heh...right, Miss...Dizzy's Mom. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for the whole..."dive and crash into you" thing from earlier...it really wasn't anything personal..."

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
”Mom. Mom, seriously, I’m fine. Seriously. Seriously.”
It was easy for her to say that, but that didn’t mean her mother would be convinced, as she continued to check her skull like she could see fractures through the skin or something. While Dizzy was sure there would be an Advil or two in her immediate future, she wasn’t about to collapse or anything. Nothing that an ice pack and a good night’s sleep wouldn’t fix.
She was just to go for another round of protests when Gold Ace came over and spoke to them properly. While Dizzy wasn’t the type to hold grudges over a loss, she was a wee bit miffed about him taking out her mother to get there. Still, though, he seemed like a nice enough guy who maybe just got a little overzealous. Not the end of the world by any means.
”Ms. Belti. But you can call me Angela.” Her mom helped her up to her feet and stood alongside her, before giving him a polite bow. ”And there’s no hard feelings, friendly fire happens in wrestling all the time. Just take a little care next time.” There was some slight heat in her last sentence, but she never let it boil over.
Her mother looked him over and tapped her chin, contemplating for a few moments, before she spoke her mind. ”Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re Ace’s child, correct? Silver Ace?”

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
Gold Ace blushed and rubbed the back of his blonde head awkwardly as Angel-er...Ms. Belti, introduced herself and forgave him for his cheap shot against her, though he blushed and stood much straighter when he caught her tone about taking more care next time, immediately understanding her meaning.
Being surrounded by women growing up, like his moms wrestling friends and his tough grandmother, Valley the 1st, had given him a healthy respect for, and attraction to, older women, allowing him to pick up on and understand tone shifts like this one. He got a pass this time...but only this time.
His blush got a bit redder in fact, as the older and quite attractive Angela spoke again, directly asking him about his parentage
"Yep, thats me Ms. Belti! The Second Gen Son of Silver! She taught me just about everything I know, along with my other mom Valley of course!" Ace said with a cute giggle giggle appropriate for a twink, both a little embarrassed at his own enthusiasm, but feeling very proud of his heritage at the same time as he continued.
"Why do you ask Ms. Belti? Do you you know my moms?"

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
While Angela wouldn’t have had a problem staying in the ring for a while longer, the referee was giving them an awkward look, one that she had seen on other officials before. The look of someone who very much wanted the wrestlers in the ring to get out so they could continue the show, but didn’t quite want to say it.
Taking the hint, she ushered Gold Ace and her daughter to the ropes, sitting the middle one and letting them pass through, only speaking again once she was on the apron and on her way down. ”I never met your mothers, though not for lack of trying. The cards simply never came down that way. Ships passing in the night.”
She hopped off the apron and straightened up as she made her way up the ramp, with one hand on Dizzy’s shoulder to support her. ”I’d have to imagine they would be proud of you tonight, though. A good debut, and you handled yourself well.” She gave her daughter a quick shake, rousing her attention. ”You agree?”
Dizzy popped to attention and nodded, shooting him a thumbs up. ”Oh, totally. You had a lot of spunk, really threw me for a loop in there.”

Re: Gold Ace vs. Desdemona Belti - Teenage Wasteland
Gold Ace looked towards the referee girl as she looked awkwardly at him, not taking the hint until Angela started to leave the ring and he was forced to follow to keep up. Things certainly moved fast in Law, win your match, raise your arm, and get the heck out of the way so the next match could start.
So Ace followed along, hopping out of the ring and walking to the back alongside the mother and daughter pair, clasping his hands behind his head in a relaxed manner as they walked, though he quickly blushed as both members of the family gave him praise for his in ring victory, showing some bashfulness as he chuckled appreciatively.
"Heh...thanks. I appreciate that, that's really kind of you guys to say. I'm nervous about what Moms are gonna say. I'm sure they'll point out mistakes I made, but I do hope I made them proud. But hey!" He said, turning to face Dizzy. "You did really good too, like I said, you kept catching me off guard and nearly had me beat, you kept me on my toes for sure. It was really fun!" He exclaimed, holding one arm out towards Dizzy, offering her a friendly fist bump.
