Bast was, to put it mildly, a big woman. Not the biggest, but definitely a good deal heavier than the average LAW wrestler, even among women in her own class. So when she came down on Tina with the full force of the samoan drop, she made an impact that rocked the ring and had the audience wincing. A good, solid hit.
She rolled off and rose to her knee, just in time to see Tina reeling in the opposite direction and hear Cersei’s frantic cries. ”Pin! Pin!”
Right.
Bast sprang forward, crawling after Tina quick, and pulled her back so she could drape over her chest. She grabbed her leg and pressed down, going for a classic pin - she had little confidence in it working, but that wasn’t the point. It was all about the pressure.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina felt herself crushed as Bast pinned her and kept her flat on the mat. "Ngh.... ya think that's it?" Tina said through grit teeth as the much heavier woman pressed down on her.
"ONE!"
Tina screamed and bucked her hips up while thrusting to the side to break the pin at about a one and a half. She tried to go with the momentum she made as she rolled away from Bast this time pushing herself up to her feet knowing that she was going to fight back. Tina rushed right at Bast and tried to clothesline her again, sort of. Her arm was extended but Tina intended to duck down and get behind Bast. She wanted to grab the big woman around the waist and use the momentum of her moving to transfer as quickly as she could into a German suplex to show Bast that she wasn't protected from being lift up herself just because she was bigger.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
No, Bast did not think that was the end, though she wouldn’t have complained if it was. The sooner she could put this woman down and be done with the match, the better for everyone involved. The last thing she wanted was to drag this out and seriously injure the woman.
Then again, that might not be up to her, either way. After the pinfall, she’d expected Tina to lose a step, take her time getting up, be open to something else. Instead, her opponent came back at her with a full head of steam, rushing at her with what she thought was going to be a lariat.
It wasn’t.
Instead, her opponent ducked down, swung behind her and gripped her around the waist. Bast didn’t panic at first, thinking this had to be a waistlock or the setup for some kind of hold. Nothing serious. Not a big threat.
That thought changed when her feet left the canvas. Bast’s eyes shot wide as she was hefted up, brought over, and came slamming down on the mat, hitting with a force that sent vibrations well beyond the ring. The impact was hellacious, and she was sent rolling away from the crash, flopping over and over until she came to a rest on her back. Seething, writhing, hissing.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina sent Bast down and the tigress getting impact on a lifting move made the crowd pop! Tina got up and pumped a fist in the air seeing Bast on the mat. She began to run over and wanted to take a page out of Alaina's playbook. If Bast wanted a shot at the heavyweight veteran the young blonde from England was happy to keep hammering the hyped Bast!
Tina jumped up and extended her legs looking to crash down on Bast with a leg drop, and she was eager to quickly snap on a headscissor hold! Sure Tina was smaller but her legs clamped together with her ankles crossing made her feel good against Bast only able to pry with her arms.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
”Bast!” Cersei’s shrieks echoed across the ring. ”What are you doing? Get up!”
The only thing she’d be getting in response was a half-hearted grunt, as the Hammer of African wilted under her opponent’s assault. Tina might’ve been smaller, but the woman knew how to pour on the pressure, and she seemed bent on not giving her any space to catch her breath. Bast had only just started sitting up when the woman descended on her once more, this time coming in with a leg drop that caught her hard on the chest, landing with enough impact to make her whole body jolt.
That would’ve been bad enough if it was the end of it, but it wasn’t - she followed up a second later when she wrapped her head up in a tight headscissor, clamping down with no small amount of force. It was a jaw-crushing, head splitting hold, and all Bast could do for the moment was writhe around in it, turning her head around just enough so she could look up at her opponent - which just made the hold hurt even worse.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina grit her teeth and leaned back, clamping as tight as she could. She glared back at Bast and shook her head. "Not sure what your mouthpiece said but I'm not some washed up little middleweight. I know I have a target on me and women like you see me as a stepping stone. I'm not here just for you to elevate yourself." Tina hissed as she kept the hold locked up tight squeezing away as best she could while keeping her gaze locked onto the eyes of Bast.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Bast couldn't understand a word that Tina was saying.
Not for lack of trying, though. It really had more to do with her having a pair of thighs muffling her ears than anything, just another annoying side effect to having her head squeezed. She was also pretty sure she heard Cersei’s squealing over the crowd’s raucous cries for her to submit, but she didn’t pay any of it much mind.
Her only thought was standing. Fighting. Surviving. Those were the thoughts that coursed through her head as she wrapped her arms around Tina’s thighs, clamped tight, and began to rise up.
She pushed up to one knee, then the other knee, then her foot, then the other foot, and continued to surge upwards from there, until she was standing tall with Tina on her shoulders. She teetered back for a second as she righted her balance, then charged forward at full blast to slam her opponent into the nearest corner, looking to plaster her with a buckle bomb in the hopes of hurtig her - and, more importantly, dislodging her.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
"Ngh... no way.... damn it!" Tina hissed as Bast stood up and held Tina keeping her from letting go! To that end Tina clamped down as hard as she could and rode it out....
At least she did until her forced crash landing against the turnbuckle! Tina howled in pain and crashed to the mat in a heap groaning and kicking as she rolled to her side and writhed on the canvas in pain. That hurt, and she was immobilized in agony. She had given Bast all she could but Bast fired back and fired back hard. This didn't bode well for Tina.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
As soon as Bast landed the Buckle Bomb, she fell flat on her back and gasped, sucking in air and filling her lungs. She rubbed her neck, too, still feeling those thick thighs are her neck. Tina might’ve been smaller, but she had a lot of power packed tight in that frame. If the two of them were the same height, she wasn’t sure this match would be going anywhere near the same way.
All the more reason for her to bring this match to a tight, orderly conclusion. She rolled up to her feet and moved back in to reach down and grab Tina by the head, lifting her up with a quick heave and throwing her against the turnbuckle. She only just bounced off them when Bast rushed to her, raised her leg, and hit her with a stiff knee to the stomach, making sure she sunk it in deep to fold her in half.
All while Cersei barked from the sidelines. ”Again, again!”

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina was yanked up and sent running to the ropes leaving the staggered, dazed Tina to bounce off and rush right at Bast powerless to stop what was coming! "AAARRRRGGHHH!" Tina howled as she knee smashed into her doubling her over and lifting her off her feet leaving her to fall to the mat in a heap on her hands and knees! Tina moaned and cradled her abdomen, seemingly out on her knees as she swayed about. She felt like her rib cage was completely smashed and pulverized, gasping for breath as she struggled to even breathe!
