Lauren vs. Yukino: Apex Qualifier

Lauren sent Yukino down to the mat and she turned to lumber over to the downed wrestler. Lauren jumped up and extended her legs looking to come crashing down on top of Yukino with a big leg drop! The big blonde would try to transition right into a headscissor hold if she was able, holding on and squeezing to choke the fight right out of the smaller Yukino. Lauren knew she had to hit hard and keep the pace slow, and this was precisely what she was trying to do right now.

This was bad. Yukino was flat on her back, still panting and gasping to try to get air back in her lungs, and Lauren was steadily closing in on her. She hadn't expected much trouble from Lauren going into this match, but the heavyweight seemed intent on making a fool of her - and Yukino was paying the price! She clenched her teeth, hissing under her breath as she tightened her fists to try and steel herself. Yukino knew that she needed to get away, and fast - knowing how much bigger Lauren was, she didn't want to be hit by whatever she had planned for her next move. That could well take her out of the match, and that was something she couldn't afford, with her reputation on the line!

When she saw Lauren looming overhead, Yukino could feel something tighten in her stomach as an encroaching sense of anxiety ran over her. But she also knew that if there was ever a time to act, it was now! Just then, she heard Nashi cheering for her, and all the fans joining in rallying behind her. That made a smile flash across her face - if Nashi believed in her, she had to push herself to the extra mile. She knew she could do it - and she wouldn't let anyone down!

Lauren hopped up and kicked out her legs, intent on crashing down on top of Yukino to ensnare her head. But just then, the white-haired girl kicked her legs straight into the air, looking to do a sommersault backward to get away from her opponent! If it worked, when Lauren came down against the mat, she would only hit the canvas!

Lauren jumped up and crashed down to the mat hitting nothing but canvas! "Oomph!" Lauren groaned as she shook her head, slowly stumbling up to her feet. She was stunned and a bit hurt from the surprise and Yukino had a nice window of opportunity to act as Lauren was still trying to get to her feet after her miscue.

Nashi was cheering for Yukino to dodge but at the same time was biting her nail’s terrified if it landed! Thankfully Yukino managed to pull an incredible Summersault roll out making the heavyweight land on her gut”Yukino nows you’re chance but her with everything you got!” she called out to her friend to try and help her out in this ordeal.

When Yukino looked up to see it, a grin crossed her face. Just as she'd expected, Lauren was unable to correct her course in time to stop herself from coming crashing down on the mat - and Yukino had gotten away just in time; she now had the perfect opportunity to act! She sat back up, clenching a fist with her growing sense of confidence as she heard Nashi call out to her from the sidelines. Yukino knew this was her chance, and she wasn't about to waste it!

"Don't worry, Nashi - I'm way ahead of you!" the white-haired girl called out. She pushed herself back to her feet, finding newfound strength from the rush that came from knowing it was her moment to shine! There, she took off across the ring, hopping over Lauren's downed form on the canvas as she passed over it before she hit the ropes on the opposite side - and shot herself back toward her opponent, her elbow raised to slam an elbow drop straight across Lauren's back as she approached! If that worked, she would grab for the heavyweight's arm, going to pull it behind her back and pinning her wrist between her shoulderblades to go for a hammerlock!

Lauren groaned as Yukino came crashing down on top of Lauren. Lauren felt her arm grabbed and twisted behind her as she was on the mat and she let out another long groan of pain! Lauren kicked the mat and then tried to use her free arm and legs to push herself up to her hand and knees hoping to start to leverage herself into a position where she would get out of the painful hold! Yukino was proving to be more of a pain than Lauren expected and she had to prevent her from running away with the momentum.

Yukino launched herself off the ropes, and she was quick to come down on top of Lauren, landing with a thud that rocked the canvas. It sent her heart aflutter to think that she had landed a solid blow against her opponent, and that she was taking back control. But she couldn't rest content with her success so far. Yukino knew there was still more work to be done - and as long as she had Lauren at her mercy, she had the opportunity to apply a more punishing hold. Being able to weaken Lauren's limbs and joints could make a world of difference in a match where she was outweighed, and she was content to exploit that, wrenching Lauren's arm behind her back!

Yukino grinned wider and wider. With every groan coming from Lauren, and every time she struggled back and forth, she was reminded that her best efforts were actually working - and that she just might stand a chance of winning this match! But it was then that Yukino felt the surface beneath her rise and tilt backward, as Lauren got to her knees, and her mouth dropped open in a gasp. Even despite the pain, Lauren was still fighting back! Evidently, Yukino was going to need to do more than this to keep her under control!

She knew that if the heavyweight fought all the way back up to her feet, it would be trouble - she would have Yukino positioned perfectly to deliver a devastating slam. That meant Yukino had to keep that from happening! Her eyes narrowed into a glare of defiance. As Lauren got up, she jumped back, planting her feet on the mat behind her. But she held onto her arm - this time, pulling back on it, and cranking on the wrist for a wristlock!

Lauren was back up but Yukino adjusted, twisting the arm of Lauren and pulling in the wrist lock. Lauren moaned in pain and stomped her legs as her thighs and backside quaked with each stomp. Lauren knew how to counter this though! Lauren twisted her arm around and spun so while Yukino was holding her extended arm the pressure on her shoulder was gone. With a smile instead of a look of pain Lauren pulled Yukino at her while extending her other arm looking to yank Yukino right into a clothesline!

Lauren was fighting back, but Yukino knew this couldn't be the end. Even if the heavyweight was going to try to fight her way back up, Yukino was only going to adjust her strategy accordingly, recentering her balance so that she could keep on putting pressure on her limbs. She smiled confidently - so far, even though Lauren might have been bigger than she was, Yukino knew enough to keep her on her toes. But Lauren had a counter prepared of her own - and suddenly, she spun around in place, taking Yukino for a ride with her!

In an instant, the white-haired girl's jaw dropped as her confident grin gave way to a wide-eyed look of shock! She stumbled around Lauren, her stance wavering and her footing threatening to give out on her. But even if Yukino was disoriented, things were about to get a lot worse for her - when Lauren reeled her inward and struck her with a clothesline that knocked her right off her feet! Her head rolled back with a crack and she fell to her back, her legs kicking up in the air as she landed with a yelp. There, she gasped for breath; the landing had knocked the wind out of her, and she needed to catch her bearings!

The big woman managed to hit the clothesline and she had Yukino down at her feet. Lauren heard the crowd boo but she shrugged it off. The blonde looked down at Yukino and had an idea. She jumped up, extending her arm trying to crash down on top of Yukino with an elbow drop, looking to lock in a side headlock after landing. It would slow things down but in favor of Lauren, something the blonde in blue wanted to do to control the pacing of the match.
