Dark Match: Troy Lincoln Vs. "JJ" Janella Johnson

Troy was, by no means, a light man. While that splash wasn’t as bad as it would’ve been if he’d had ample space to throw his body, he still had a lot of weight to bring down, and he knew it had to have a hellish effect on JJ’s significantly smaller body. It was a match-changing move.

But a match-winning move? Only one way to know that.

As JJ reeled from the attack, Troy rolled over, grabbed her arm, and crawled back to get her away from the ropes. Once she was at a sufficient distance, he draped his body over her, pulled her leg up, and went for the pinfall.

The referee came over, dropped beside them, and started the count up. ”1…!”

"TWO!"

The referee's hand went up and started to descend when JJ groaned and arched her back, trying to spring up and bridge out of the pin with enough force to get Troy to roll off of her! JJ would slump back to the mat having continued the match but looking like she was hurting. She was. JJ would try to roll away from Troy, doing her best to force herself back up to her feet and stumbling about a bit as she did so.

Huh. Two-count.

Troy rolled his tongue about his cheek as she escaped and moved to the side, clearly hurting. She was on the edge of giving in, but he wasn’t quite sure how best to push her over. The exact last thing he wanted to do was drag this out longer than need be.

There was zero time for consternation, though - she was already starting to recover, and he refused to lose the gains the he’d made so far. Moving in, he reached down, grabbed her shoulder with one hand and her legs with the arm, and used this grip to heft her up with ease, placing her on his shoulders.

”Look, you’re tough, I get it.” He pulled down on her neck and shoulders, cranking her with a classic torture rack. ”But there’s no shame in giving up after a match like this, got it? You already put up a hell of a fight, miss.”

JJ groaned as Troy lift her up and held her as her torso began jolting with pain thanks to the torture rack! "AAARRRRGGHHHHHH!" JJ howled and thrashed about, clearly in pain while she was stuck in the hold. JJ was in trouble and this strong man was in control. It all seemed like a bad spot and it sure was. JJ's body had taken a beating at the hands of Troy. He hit so hard and couple pile on punishment fast.

JJ shook her head and aimed every fist and elbow shot at his head that she could trying to free herself by falling down behind Troy while coiling her knees up, hoping to pull him right down into a backstabber to escape the hold!

Just a little more. Just one more plunge, and this was all done. JJ had put up a great fight, far better than anyone would’ve guessed with the size difference, but that legendary gumption was only ever going to carry her so far, and this was the end point. One more plunge, and they were done.

”And here we-”

That was when it all went wrong.

Troy’s eyes shot wide as he took an elbow to the face, and another on top of that. It wasn’t much, but the sheer surprise and ferocity worked wonders - he was letting go, no way around it, and she was coming down behind him, grabbing his neck, and…

He let out a hoarse cry as her knees shot into his back, blowing the wind clean out of his lungs and knocking him forward. He went to his hands and knees and stayed there as he tried to catch his breath, while he reached around with one hand to caress his aching back.

JJ took Troy down and knew that she had a chance to really show off. She looked out to the cameras as she stood and flexed a bicep. "Hey Sienna, I just want to show you that I am just as buff and bad as you! Watch this one!" JJ said as she pulled Troy up. He was about 60 or so lbs heavier than her according to JJs initial estimate, so that would mean this either paid off and shocked everyone or failed miserably...

JJ bent her knees and went low, putting a hand on the front of a shoulder and the other on the front of a hip. JJ grunted, crying out as she lift Troy up attempting to lift him high overhead, locking out her arms and keeping him up for a second before sending him crashing down hard to the mat with a military press slam! It was a feat of strength that would sap JJ but also do a number on the blonde all while firing up the crowd.

Sienna? Who was Sienna?

Troy was vaguely aware of JJ’s voice talking to someone, addressing her with the nearest camera, but he was a little too busy being in pain to pay it much heed. That last attack had done a number on his back, a back that was still reeling from everything else he’d suffered in this match, and the mounting damage had finally caught up with.

He pushed up, trying to rise to his feet so he could mount a defense, when she came in and cut him off. His mind raced, trying to figure out what her next move would be - a DDT, a chokehold, maybe lay into him with some strikes?

Nope. He got a military press slam.

It was a move he wouldn’t have expected from her in a thousand years, so yeah, it was more than a little shocking when she not only managed to lift him up, but held him aloft for a few seconds before he was sent crashing down to earth, with gravity doing most of the dirty work. He landed hard on his back and rolled off to the side, where he laid and gritted his teeth, seething as the pain compounded.

JJ sent Troy crashing down, gasping for breath and flexing her biceps. "That's right! Y'all see what this little powerhouse can do huh!?" JJ said before looking back at Troy. JJ ran to the ropes and jumped up landing on the middle rope and spring boarding off, twisting her body and sailing through the air with out-stretched legs as she looked to hit Troy with a springboard leg drop, intent on attempting to pin the big man afterward! She showed off some serious girl power, and now a bit of speed and agility with a dash of good old fashioned thick thigh offense. The crowd seemed to be eating it up, and deep down she hoped that the big blond wouldn't hold it against her too much...

Was this match rapidly going downhill? Yeah.

Troy didn’t like to admit that sort of thing, not wanting to let doubt creep into the way he did things, but it was becoming increasingly hard to ignore the downward spiral this whole thing was taking. Not as he laid on the mat, and definitely not as she came crashing down on his chest with a leg drop from on high, knocking the air clean off his chest.

”1…!”

To make matters worse, this was one of those special attacks that left him pinned afterwards, which meant that he had to dig deep and escape the pinfall right after being attacked.

”2…!”

Troy threw his hands up at the last second, breaking the count just as the referee’s hand was coming down. As winded as he was, he still had some gas left in the tank.

JJ was feeling good about that pin... but Troy managed to break the count! "Damn it you really do have the muscle to tussle with a real grappler huh?" JJ said, slapping his chest as she stood up to her feet. She grabbed an arm and tried to lift him to his feet before sending him running to the ropes. JJ took a breath and ran the other way a second later. She hoped to jump up onto the middle rope and springboard back off of it again, this time flying at the running Troy with a missile dropkick!
