Where Angels Fear To Tread

”Afraid?” SA-KI scoffed at that and kicked her way off the turnbuckle, landing near Ryuko’s fallen form. She strolled around the brunette, taking care to keep a safe distance in case the woman tried anything drastic. ”Nah. Just smart. You’ve been wrestling clean, where’d that get you?” She thumbed towards the Mad Scientist as she stepped back, taking position next to the waiting Zero. ”You’re next, Crawford. Save some for me.”

”Naturally.” Maria stepped forward and handed her whip off to Zero for safekeeping, then moved in on the downed Ryuko. ”Sorry about this, dear.” She reached down, seized Ryuko’s head, and pulled it between her thighs. ”But we all have to suffer the consequences of our actions.”

With that weak apology, she grabbed Ryuko’s by the knees and hoisted her upwards, holding her upside down and forcing her body to fold inwards. She let the position linger for a couple of second, ramping up the suspense, then kicked out her legs and hammered her opponent’s skull into the mat, hammering her with a package piledriver - or, as she called it, Impact Play.

Ryuko was hurting and being grabbed again, this time by the crazy Brit who had a love for hurting people. Ryuko wasn't a huge fan of anyone in this crew but Maria was up there with Freia in terms of women that Ryuko hated in Wrestle Angels. She wasn't able to fight back and she couldn't really say much given how dazed she was. "Oh piss off you basic bitches..."

That was all Ryuko could get before the pile driver sent her crashing to the mat with Ryuko in a very hazy gray-out. Not quite unconscious but damn close. Her head throbbed, she was in a wrestling ring with women she hated but she couldn't comprehend anything more specific than that after having her head spiked to the mat. She rolled to her side, weakly cradling her head in her arms and laying still other than that.

Freia, meanwhile, looked on and watched as her crew put the screws to Thunder Ryuko, easing back in the corner for the show. She was smiling - she always smiled during her beatdowns - but there was a sad tinge to it. There’d been a second there where she really thought she could get through to the woman, but some people just couldn't let go of old perceptions. Shame, really. Having Ryuko on their side would’ve helped get some of the others in line, and shown the less trusting Wrestle Angels that they were legit. Someone like Mighty Yukiko was far too goody-goody for this, but she’d wagered the ‘Thunder Empress’ might be close enough to the line for it to work.

Ah, well. Wasted opportunities.

”Nice, nice.” SA-KI clicked her tongue and nodded as Ryuko reeled from Maria’s heavy hit, and started circling her with open arms. ”Okay, just let me have my shot, then we-”

”Let’s end it.”

Freia stepped out of the corner and strolled towards the center, where SA-KI waited and glared. Even through that funky visor she wore, you could see the ire rising on her face. ”Wait, what?” She gave Ryuko a quick, spiteful kick in the side. ”We talked about-” She stopped long enough to smack away an empty soda can that had been heading her way, courtesy of an incensed audience. Deflecting trash was a skill they'd both honed to perfection. ”Son of a…we talked about this. We each do our finishers, then we hit her with the big one. That was the plan.”

”It was the plan. I’m altering it.” She squatted down near the helpless Ryuko, grabbed her hair, and forced her to look up. ”Hear that, Ms. Thunder? I’m cutting you some slack. Don’t suppose you’ll show any gratitude, will you?”

Ryuko was in a total daze and defenseless. She was aware they were talking but couldn't hear or understand what was being said. "What.... just shut up..... Afraid to face women solo...." Ryuko muttered whether it was relevant or not. She didn't move, she couldn't move at this point she was easy prey for the vultures.

Muttering, barely there, not even seeming to realize what planet she was on - yeah, Ryuko was about finished. No need to gild the lily. SA-KI would be pissed about it, but then, she was always pissed about something.

”I’ll take that as a ‘yes’.” Freia let Ryuko’s head flop back down and stood up with a twirl of her finger. ”Just like we practiced, everyone. Into positions.”

SA-KI looked like she had more to say - a lot more - but she fell in line at the signal and took up position at the center of the ring, while Maria and Freia tended to the downed Ryuko. They each took an arm and forced her to stand, effortlessly hauling her back to her feet, then lifted her up in unison and placed her on SA-KI’s waiting shoulders.

With Ryuko suspended and held in all three of their grasps, they looked around and let the moment settle for a few, precious seconds, giving the crowd time to absorb what was about to happen. Bask in it. Really let it sink in.

And then came the plunge.

They brought Ryuko crashing to the ground all at once, just as Zero rushed in and leaped up with perfect timing. The tiny terror gripped her head from behind as she fell, pulling it against her shoulder in the neckbreaker position, adding her own weight to the equation to make the impact that much more devastating.

When Ryuko hit, she hit with insane force, enough to make the entire ring quake and rattle the cheap seats. The quartet would part away immediately after, making sure the entire arena could see Thunder Ryuko.

Or, more accurately, what was left of her.

Ryuko was silent and powerless to even start resisting. She felt herself being lift up... really high... and then everything was a blur as she was in motion, in extreme pain and then blacked out unconscious all within the blink of an eye! The thunder empress hit the mat and laid there unmoving as she was absolutely destroyed by the quartet in the ring with her leaving her a total mess. She would be in a lot of pain when she would finally wake up from this nightmare of a knockout.

And so, it was over.

The four women looked down on Ryuko, smug and smiling, save for Zero and her default, unmoved expression. There was a slight, sad tinge on Freia’s face, but she brushed it off a moment later. She’d made a good offer, here, and it got thrown back in her face. Ryuko would be cursing her name for all of this, but in the end, it wasn’t her fault.

The audience, of course, didn’t get it, and gave her a fresh wave of hate. But that was one of the great things about being Freia Kagami - she didn’t care. ”Oh? Oh, what?” She brought the microphone to her mouth and shrugged, pointing at the unconscious Ryuko with her other hand. ”You all saw that. I offered her everything she could want on a silver platter, and what did she do?” Freia swung her hands through the air, imitating the slap, then threw up her hands. ”Pride goes before the fall, people.”

Freia handed the microphone off to Maria, who strode back to the center of the ring with one on her hips. She planted a boot on Ryuko’s chest and ground the heel against her breast, enjoying the feel for a moment before she spoke up. ”Thunder Ryuko will be the first, but she will not be the last. Today, we’re putting out a call to every Wrestle Angel in LAW - we’re coming for you. We’re here to bring back the company we all shed blood for, to ensure that we all get the shine that we’re due. We are going to tear this company apart, burn it to the ground, and rebuild Wrestle Angels in its ashes, better than ever…and we want you all to be a part of it.”

Now, it was SA-KI’s turn. She reached over Maria’s shoulder, plucked the microphone away, and leaned on the domme as she had her say, never letting her smirk waver, even for an instant. ”But let’s be clear, fuckers. We’re not asking - we’re telling. Hell, we’re demanding.. You’re either with us or against us, there’s no middle ground. Side with us, and it’ll be the best decision of your life, the way to turn around your career. We’re the key. But if you slap us in the face, turn us down, well…”

SA-KI gave Ryuko’s lifeless body a little kick as Freia moved in to seize the microphone once more. All four of them took up position now, standing tall in the center of the ring, looking straight towards the main camera. ”We’re the Fallen Angels, and we’re here to rise up. Pay attention, LAW, because this is the first, last, and only warning you get: Stay out of our way.”

With that said and the point made, Freia promptly tossed away the microphone and sauntered out of the ring, with the others following just behind her. She kept her head high all the way up the ramp, ignoring the jeers from the crowd as they had their little parade. Not a single fuck was given.
