I mentioned this on Discord, but I'll say it again here.

Magic and supernatural stuff? Furry stuff? Sure, go for it. I don't even care if that has its own 'other dimension'-or-whatever canon. Heck, indulge in your spoopy fetishes for deathmatches, if you like.

But! I don't believe that male-vs-female should be one of the reasons it's on there. I know we have that development in the pipeline, but as someone who's now been here a while, I can say that's likely still a ways off. What tends to happen when people want something and find a looser, less restricted way of getting it, is that the demand for it to be mainstreamed plummets. And when demand plummets, that thing going mainstream gets pushed further and further from the greenlight.

Let me be clear. I'm not saying Winner's unfair, or bad at keeping deadlines and priorities. All I'm saying is that's how the development process tends to work. Things that are in demand generally get priority. Mixed matches are a niche right now. I don't wanna see the demand diminish any further. :<

And no, I'm not saying mixed matches should be prohibited from the off-canon thing, if it's made. I have mixed feelings on it. All I'm saying is that it shouldn't be one of the focal points.

Thank you very much for voicing your concerns, Cyan. I think you make some valid points. I think by now everyone in this thread has a good enough understanding of what they'd like or what they feel should be going on with this idea. So I made a forum for it.

I kinda agree with cyan there honestly. Love the whole supernatural aspect or just fantasy characters in general.

Honestly not terribly fond of the idea of regular noncannon matches. I feel like if you want that you can always do it via DMs or something. Or at the very least the thread should prolly be tagged NC or something

I personally think it's a great idea for the following categories:

- Fantasy/Science Fantasy wrestling matches (something I personally luv :3)
- Other combat sports (MMA/Boxing, since there are people into them on the site)
- Shonen style fights (unleash your character's final form!)

Somewhat iffy on having wrestling matches on there, unless they result in a...fairly off scenario that would, realistically, permanently change a character.

One question, however. Should there be a separate roster for specifically non-canon chars?

Idk if a separate character section is 100% necessary but it would definitely make stuff easier for people to find, so honestly why not?

I believe a specific roster for non cannon would be unnecessary. For the supernatural stuff there would likely need to be though.
