Thank you Luna. I think you're right. Organizing a ppv will require people to establish their character. Establishing characters takes time. I don't think a ppv in the near future will be feasible. Maybe in a few months depending on how our user base continues to grow and whether or not user activity stays high, which it is right now.

That being said, I think holding smaller scale things in the special events portion of LAW could be realistically done in the near future. Could you or anyone else give me your thoughts on whether or not you think that would be feasible?

Lol mini tourney with top posters would finish fairly quickly. Though I feel like just throwing all 4 into a tag match would help differentiate it from other events, since we'll likely be doing tourneys later.

I'll probably mention this elsewhere for visibility. But anyone is allowed to post a specialty match at any time. It'll get sent to me and I'll have to approve it. Which I probably will. You can also send a pm to me after submitting the first post of the thread with reasons justifying why you feel it belongs in that section for added measure.

Regardless of who gets involved, top posters or not, I think that in the short term, everyone should focus on organizing matches they feel are important enough to go in the special events section.

I also encourage everyone to read the titles section in the site rules. One of the things currently preventing us from introducing titles is that characters aren't allowed to compete for them prior to wrestling at least 3 matches. And there's a bunch of other rules, too. I'd like for people to become familiar with those rules. And again, I'd like people to include work towards big matches and small events for now, as opposed to ppv's and titles. That'll come later.

Personally I think if we do an event even if it's meant to be quick/small it shouldn't just feature a limited amount of users like 4, even if those 4 are the people who post the most consistently. At that point it'd feel like everyone on the site other than that select group of people were missing out on something neat, although I think an event with the aforementioned 4 person tournament as the main attraction/focus would still be cool.

They will definitely get their due. Top posters, as well as everyone else are allowed to have small events, specialty/high-profile matches, and so on, anytime by way of the Special Events section. So no one should get left out on that front. As for bigger events and ppv's, when we're ready for them, we'll organize them in ways that ensure no one gets left out.

I agree with you for full on/large scale events. I tried to make it so that everyone can do things to feel included and highlight their characters particularly unique or important matches with the special events section. They don't have to be reserved for top posters or any other select group. Other groups of people can hold other events of multi-woman matches while other stuff is happening.

For example, if myself and 3 other users decide we want to do a 4 person tourney in the special events section, and in the same day we start it, you decide you'd like to do a Lumberjack match with yourself and a few others (an opponent and a few other users that would be rp'ing the lumberjack/jills), both of those matches can happen concurrently in the special events section. There's no real limit on small events or high-profile matches.

That was my strategy for making sure no one gets left out on that front. If you feel it could be improved or replaced with something better, please let me know. I'm open to suggestions and I'll try my best to implement something that works for everyone.
