With everything said and done, a few weeks later, there was Vera, finally ready for her title challenge.

She had seen her share of losses and wins, but tonight, she was determined to turn everything around for herself. Tonight, she was going to become champion.

She wouldn't wait for a signal from a stagehand, instead leaving for Gorilla Position early, with the roar of the crowd actually helping to soothe her nerves. Once her music started playing on the speakers, she started to make her way confidently up the ramp. She wouldn't be dancing as usual, but sent air-kisses to the cheering crowd, before climbing the ring, and striking a strong pose putting attention to her muscles. Alaina was her's tonight.

With a calm feeling, she made her way to her corner, as she awaited the Champion's arrival

Alaina was ready for this. The champion was set to make another title defense as LAW Heavyweight Champion. She was going to put Vera in her place and show everyone that the amazon was here to stay at the top. Alaina heard her music playing and soon made her way out as the crowd roared!

Alaina struck a pose at the top, flexing and adjusting to show off her figure in her two piece tiger print attire. She came strutting down the ramp with her title across her shoulder while high fiving fans all the way down the ramp. She was smiling, strutting and looking quite confident as she had already been through many tough defenses. She would defend it again for sure!

Alaina slid into the ring and held the belt high before handing it over to the referee and glaring at Vera. "You better be ready, I am going to show you precisely why I am the champion and you aren't." Alaina said as she looked ready to go, waiting for the opening bell!

Vera kept a close eye on Alaina and her title...

"No...MY title...", Vera would think to herself. She had to keep going with the outlook that she was going to win...otherwise, she was going to doubt herself...and make mistakes...and eventually lose.

That wasn't an option tonight. She slapped her cheeks to clear her head, stepping to Alaina to measure up against the Amazon with a confident smile: "What Hippolita said to Heracles before he took her belt, Amazon..."

Vera went to her corner, eyes not leaving Alaina's, as she awaited the bell's sound...

"DING DING DING!"

Vera would rush Alaina from the corner, forgoing formalities to take Alaina's head off with a Lariat!

Alaina shook her head at Vera. "Since I'm Alaina the amazon, I don't really care." She said as the bell rang! She moved toward the rushing Vera and smiled. Vera was eager but Alaina could work with that.

Alaina ducked her outstretched arm and grabbed Vera from behind, anchoring her legs to the ground as she went to lift Vera up to plant her to the mat with a German suplex!

“Aaaah!”, Vera let out in surprise, missing the Lariat as the champion quickly was onto her, grabbing her from the back…and throwing her backwards, straight onto her neck and shoulders for a perfect German Suplex!

“GYAAAGH!!!”, Vera let out, trying to roll through the hold, to get to her feet as fast as she could, trying to not give the champion too much advantage!

Alaina sent Vera down and wanted to use her ring smarts to keep on top of the young challenger. Alaina was up, seeing Vera rise.

Alaina reached out to grab Vera's head swinging her leg back as she tried to ram her knee into the face of the rising challenger!

1 mistake.

Just 1 mistake cost her THIS much in the match already. Alaina was precise and merciless with her attacks, running towards Vera to ram her knee into her face!

“GUAAAAGH!!!”

Vera fell onto her rear, holding her nose to ensure it wasn’t broken…

Alaina took Vera down and wanted to keep piling on. Alaina bent down grabbing hold of Vera.

With a grunt Alaina tried to deadlift Bera up exploding back as she tried to send her flying with a deadlift fallaway slam!

Alaina's rough attacks continued, as she lifted the Russian...Vera weakly attempted to resist, driving her elbows into her jaw, before Alaina sent her flying backwards with a Fallaway Slam!

"AAAAAAGH!!!", Vera cried out as she was tossed around like a sack...as she tried to roll away to avoid further punishment from the Amazon...

Alaina got back up and pumped a fist in the air as the champion was starting off well against the younger upstart challenger! The amazon ran at Vera looking to leap in the air and fly at her, atempting to splash down on top of Vera for a pin attempt!

______

Right as Vera thought she had a moment of rest, the Amazon came at her like a freight train! Alaina would come at her fast, before jumping and squashing her with her body! The ref quickly came in for a pin.

"ONE!"

"TW---NO!"

Vera quickly kicked out. She was hurting already...but wasn't out of the fight yet!

Alaina felt Vera kick out and the amazon got back up to her feet. Alaina pulled Vera up by the arm whipping her to the rope. Alaina would run at her after Vera bounced off extending her arm for a running clothesline!

______

Alaina would forcibly drag Vera to her feet, before forcing her to rush into the ropes. As Vera bounced back, she attempted to outstretch her arm, trying to Lariat Alaina at the same time as she was clotheslining her!

"AAAAUGH!!!"

Ultimately, however, Alaina's forearm would slam into the blunette's chest...but she hoped she at least took the champ down with her!

Alaina and Vera crashed into each other and both heavyweights crashed loudly to the mat! Alaina cradled her head in her arms and kicked in pain. She had to get up and was pushing herself slowly up to her feet attempting to beat Vera back to a vertical base.

______

Vera would slowly find her way back to her feet, around the same time as Alaina! Gritting her teeth, the Russian blunette got ready for another brawl with the Amazon!

Trying to get a jump on Alaina, Vera delivered a hard punch to brunette’s stomach!

______

Alaina grunted and stumbled back as Vera hit her abdomen with a hard punch! She grunted and shook her head not willing to be out-punched by this woman! The amazon stepped up and swung her fist right back into the abdomen of Vera as hard as she could in return!

______

Alaina stepped towards Vera, and despite the hard punch from Vera, the Amazon mustered quite a bit of strength behind a punch of her own!

"GUAAGH!!!", Vera let out, gritting her teeth...but determined to stay on her feet! If punches didn't take down the Amazon, maybe her kicks would! She swung her leg up, aiming once more for Alaina's stomach to try and take as much air out of the champion as she could!

Alaina grunted and staggered just barely staying up as she cradled her abdomen. She tried to stand back up and swing a kick back at Vera hoping to out her through the same punishment!

______

For a moment, Vera thought she had this in this brawl off…only for Alaina to come back at her with a hard kick to Vera’s stomach, and taking air out of her body!

“GUUUUUUUUH!!!”

She wanted to drop down and curl into a ball after her attack. Outstriking the champion was definitely not a way to go…but she needed to get an advantage on Alaina somehow!

As she saw that both of them were quite near the ropes, an idea popped into her head…but she had to make sure that her attacks drove Alaina back, and that she maintained her level of aggression in order to execute her strategy!

Sucking in as much air as she could, Vera rushed Alaina once more, this time with a big dropkick, trying to get Alaina closer to the ropes!

The amazon was surprised that Vera didn't go down and she began to stomp her way closer to the challenger looking to grab hold of her. Alaina was shocked as Vera surged back at her jumping up and planting Alaina with a dropkick! "UGH!"

Alaina stumbled back on limp legs a few steps, managing to stay up but she was reeling and trying to recover her footing before it was too late!

Alaina retained her footing, much like Vera expected. She took a deep breath, knowing her next move was going to hurt her as well.

As Vera rushed Alaina, she extended her arm for a hard Lariat, trying to take Alaina over the top rope…while also hitting hard enough to take herself over as well! As a result, both heavyweights would fall out of the ring, painfully landing at the ring side area!

Alaina was against the ropes unable to move as Vera crashed into her! "ARRGH! OOMPH!" The lariat itself hurt and sent Alaina flipping over the ropes! She lost track of Vera as the crash landing added to her agony! Alaina rolled and laid on her back, weakly kicking the ground as her leg trembled with the kick leaving her groaning in pain!

“MGGGH! AAAH!!!”, Vera cried out, as she tumbled to the floor outside the ring. Her body hurt…but she quickly managed to pull herself to her feet regardless! For now, she had the advantage in the match!

Breathing heavily, Vera would waste no time, and grab the Amazon by her hair and arm, yanking her up to her feet…before trying to throw her back-first into the steel steps with her mighty strength!

Alaina was pulled up after her hard landing and she was hurting with things only about to get worse! She felt her arm pulled and she went running, flying into the steel steps! Alaina howled and flipped over the steps after her painful crash landing, groaning as she kicked the ground and writhed in pain after being crushed by her smashing hard into the steel steps!

______

The audience cheered for violence, but Vera knew she couldn't afford a second to bask in the glory from the fans. The normally Jolly, positive blunette wore an uncharacteristically serious expression on her face, approaching the Amazon as she grabbed her brown hair, lifting her head up, and trying to smash it right up against the same steel steps!

______

Alaina moaned as she was lift up and brought crashing down hard on the steel steps! Her head bounced off and her body flopped to the side leaving her covering her face with her hands and weakly kicking the ground with her legs as the amazon was now in a bad spot with Vera gaining the momentum!

______

The blunette couldn't deny that she felt awful about being so brutal to the Amazon. She had utmost respect for the champion. That's why she challenged for it while she was holding it. Beating a veteran like her for the prize was a dream come true for the blunette. But she couldn't deny that between the two of them, Alaina had a bigger edge, had more will to deal damage, had more will to withstand the pain between the two of them. If Vera didn't allow herself to let loose, the Amazon would simply overwhelm her.

So before that would happen, Vera would have to get at Alaina and take her out before that happened!

The blunette stood up on top of the stairs, grabbing the Amazon's head, trying to lift Alaina up to a stand... and then shove her head between her thighs. With slight effort, Vera lifted the Amazon onto her shoulders.

"Oh fuck...", she could hear from her side, the referee scared over what Vera was planning to do!

If not stopped, Vera would step off the steps, trying to drive Alaina back first onto the hard floor below with a Powerbomb!

Alaina felt Vera grab hold of her and lift, but it was a position Alaina knew all too well. The amabomb was her finisher so the amaozn knew when she was in position to be powerbombed. Alaina shouted and clamped her legs together leaning back and reaching her hands down to catch herself as she attempted to counter this by sending Vera crashing down with a hurricanrana to the ground instead!

Vera dropped Alaina down, slightly regretful of the action towards Alaina... when in reality, the brunette knew all to well how to handle one of her own signature moves. Flipping even further than Vera anticipated, the Amazon landed on her hands when she should've impacted her back. Then, with the strength in her arms, legs and her core, she pulled Vera forward!

The blunette was flabergasted as instead of Alaina, she was the one who was going to hit the ground!

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!", Vera screamed out as she landed, bending and holding her hurting spine!

Alaina stumbled up shaking her head. "Let me teach you about power honey!" Alaina said trying to make her way to Vera. Alaina grabbed hold of Vera and lift her up vertically for a suplex, trying to angle herself to bring Veras back crashing down hard across the steel steps! Alaina was going to be nasty if she had to be and she was more than capable of using the environment to amplify her own strength.

Before Vera even finished processing what was happening to her in regards to the Hurrcanrana, Alaina was already getting ready to set her up for more punishment. The Amazon lifted the Russian in one smooth motion, from the floor to holding her upside down over her head! A moment later, Vera would be dropped spine first straight onto the steps!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!", Vera screamed, punching against the steps, trying to force herself onto her feet...only to end up sliding off the steps away from Alaina onto her stomach...

Alaina grabbed hold of Vera and yanked her up by the hair planting a couple hard punches to her stomach. The amazon scooped her up and stepped forward slamming her down and back first onto the corner of the ring apron to cause her as much pain as possible!

"UUGH! GUH! GUH!!!"

Alaina made sure Vera couldn't fight back properly, trying to beat the air out of Vera with strikes to her stomach, before scooping her off the floor, planting her harsh onto the ring apron!

"MMMMMMMGHHHHHH!"

Vera was finding for herself the power and brutality of the Amazon, 2 of the things that helped her to become a legend she was today...

Alaina sent Vera down hard to the ground and the amazon had an idea. She was going to go big and see if she couldn't put Vera away! The amazon jumped up onto the apron and looked behind her smiling as she readied herself. Alaina would jump up and flip trying to moonsault off the apron onto Vera! Alaina would go for a pin immediately after impact if she was successful to boot!

Vera stared at the lights, breathing heavily, her body feeling like it's on fire. She already knew that she'd have to put her own wellbeing on the line when fighting a woman of Alaina's caliber, but even that expectation was an underestimation of how powerful, how motivated her foe was to win.

As Vera saw Alaina coming from on top, her eyes widened in surprise...

...but within a second, a plan formed in her head.

She took a big breath as Alaina slammed into her, with the Amazon holding on to Vera for a pin. The blunette, however, wouldn't let herself be pinned, instead holding to Alaina's back and shoulder and rolling backwards, on her leg.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

With a fierce scream of both pain and determination, Vera tried to lift the Amazon onto her shoulders, before trying to drop her on her back with a Samoan Drop! Vera tried to capitalize quickly, trying to reach Alaina's leg to try and pin her right then and there!

Alaina landed and went for the pin before being taken totally by surprise. Vera had been hammered yet grabbed and deadlift the amazon up and sent her crashing to the ground! Alaina was in pain, surprised and humiliated as her power seemed to have zero effect on Vera while all she could do was shove Vera off her and kick the ground in pain.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Alaina bridged her back and arched out of the pin before flopping back to the ground gasping for breath.

Alaina kicked out, with Vera letting out an audible: "Черт!" under her breath.

One thing the Amazon was wrong in with the last few seconds of the match however, was that her attack definetely had an effect on Vera. This was a desperation move as she tried to get up after the pinfall...only for her body to not listen to her. Instead, Vera hugged her hurting ribs, the Amazon doing quite a number of them with her splash. As a result, the blunette would lay next to the Amazon, catching her breath after the attack...

Alaina kicked in pain, seeing Vera collapse next to her. Alaina let out a shout and tried to get herself up. She slowly sat up and got to her knees pulling Vera up with her. A tired amazon grabbed Vera's hair with her left hand and began landing big rights with her fist to Vera's face!

Alaina recovered faster than Vera anticipated, grabbing at Vera's hair as she pulled her up...before proceeding to deliver hard right punches to blunette's face.

At no punch did Vera scream.

After taking a good 3 of them, Vera, tired as she was and in an as much of a disadvantage as she could be, tried to fight back against the champion, trying to uppercut her right in the jaw!

Alaina groaned as the uppercut smashed her but she was going her best to stay the course and hammer Vera, she wasn't about to fold before the challenger did if she could help it!

With Alaina not relenting her attacks despite the punch to her jaw, neither did Vera. The two heavyweights proceeded to punch the living hell out of each other, driving their fists across their rival's face again and again and again!

With Vera's position, eventually, she tried to separate away from Alaina, trying to kick away at the Amazon with her leg!

Alaina wasn't backing down and when Vera kicked the amazon it did catch her off guard and stun her for a moment! However Alaina was tired of this woman trying to show off and upstage her. The amazon lunged at Vera extending her arm and looking to smash Vera with a clothesline to send her crashing to the mat!

Vera got an opportunity to get back up to her feet... but that was all she could do before Alaina rushed back at her, arm outstretched for a strike... and Vera's head was still swimming after the vicious headshots from the Amazon, the blunette not knowing where her clothesline was exactly coming from!

Instead of ducking, Vera stuck out her chest, dug her heels in...and withstood the attack!

"GRAAAAAAH!!!"

If Alaina didn't move, Vera planned to attack the champion's chest with a mighty Knife Edge Chop!

Alaina smashed into Vera but Vera somehow withstood the clothesline that would have leveled almost anyone else! Alaina screamed in rage as she took a chop to the chest but she stepped right back up to Vera hammering her back with a hard uppercut to the jaw putting everything she had into it knowing she had to keep fighting to retain her title.

“MMMFFF!!!”, Vera let out as Alaina responded to her chop with an uppercut to her jaw. The mighty strike shook Vera… but she remained standing!

“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!”

Screaming a war cry, the blunette would charge up her arm once more, delivering another hard Knife Edge Chop to the Amazon, trying to wear her down!

Alaina was in total shock as shenhad leveled many women work the sleight uppercut to the jaw but Vera was still standing? Alaina groaned as she was chopped and Alaina screamed as she spun around chopping Vera back as hard as she could!

“GRAAAAAAAAAGH!!!”

Despite Vera’s strongest strikes, Alaina was still standing, and could dish out hard punishment to boot! Grunting, the Russian knew that one more hard strike from the Amazon would floor her…

…so instead of committing herself to a fate of losing the strike exchange, Vera would step away… and then forward, dashing with an outstretched hand, as if for a clothesline…

…only to grab at her opponent’s shoulder, and lift her up into the air, trying to floor Alaina with a Uranage!

Alaina was caught off guard and her eyes widened as she was lift into the air and sent crashing painfully to the mat! She groaned and kicked in pain, the surprise of the move stunning her as mu b as the pain did leaving her flat on her back. This was a bad spot to be in....

Vera's strategy worked! She earned a few jeers her way, but they didn't matter! She had to push her advantage no matter what!

Grabbing Alaina by her hair, she forced her back up to her feet, seizing her head under her arm and grabbing her leg with another, lifting her up, seemingly for a Fisherman Suplex...

...only to fall down and drive the Amazon's head into the canvas, for a Fisherman Brainbuster!

Alaina went up into the air grabbed by Vera as she was powerless to stop her. Alaina was suspended and then brought crashing down on top of her skull! The amazon flopped tothe mat lifelessly and looked like she was out of it, laid out by the fisherman brainbuster of Vera as Alaina laid on her back cradling her head in her arms.

Was she actually doing it? Was Vera actually getting close to defeating the legendary Amazon? Vera continued her offense, not stopping for anything as she climbed up to the top turnbuckle, the audience in anticipation of the big woman taking flight.

After a quick check that Alaina was still out of it, cradling her hurting head, Vera jumped, looking to squash her opponent’s powerful body with her own as she flipped in mid-air for a Moonsault!

Alaina was down and unmoving as Vera piled on. She was motionless on the mat as Vera kept piling on, crashing down painfully on Alaina with the moonsault! The amazon cried out in pain and flopped her limbs to the mat laying lifelessly underneath Vera

So close, Vera thought. There was no way that a consistent assault like this wouldn’t put Alaina down for the count for good.

With that, Vera would grab the Amazon by her hair, looking squarely in her eye before swiftly planting her head under her arm, driving a knee to her gut for a good measure to make sure she wouldn’t interrupt her finishing move, as she lifted the champion upside down to try and drive her skull first into the ground for her Sapphire Waterfall!

Alaina was pulled up in the clutches of Vera once more. Alaina grit her teeth as she took the knee to the abdomen. The amazon was knew was about to be lift up and she couldn't let thst happen. She screamed and slammed a hard body punch to Vera's abdomen before hooking a leg around one of Vera's to prevent herself from being lift up. Alaina screamed as she fought through the pain trying to counter this into a northern lights suplex!

Vera tried to lift Alaina, but every time she tried, she was met with a hard punch to her stomach, dropping the Amazon straight back to her feet!

"D-damnit...ugggh...go u---UUUUUAAAAH!!!"

Screaming as she suddenly lost weight on her feet, Vera sailed through the air, landing straight down onto the canvas for a Northern Lights Suplex!

"UUUUGGGH!!!", the Russian screamed as her already aching spine hit the canvas! Vera cringed in pain, trying to kick her shoulder up to kick out in case Alaina tried to bridge and pin her!

Alaina rolled tonthe side after the impact, wanting to try to collect herself sonshe could go on another run. The amazon staggered up and grabbed Vera, lifting her up and draping her across her shoulders. Alaina jumped up and back, sending Vera crashing down with a samoan drop to try to build her own momentum!

“Have to win… have to get up!” Vera tried to motivate herself, but only got up just in time as Alaina got her mighty hands on her, lifting her onto her shoulders. Before Vera could even thing of fighting back, the Amazon would drill the blunette into the floor below with a Samoan Drop!

“MMMGGGGH!!!”, Vera cried out, hugging her hurting body!

Alaina had to keep going and keep Vera down. She stood up and pulled Vera up shoving her head between her legs. Alaina grit her teeth and grabbed Vera around the waist lifting her up and spinning hee around before planting Vera to the mat with a big amabomb!

______________________

And with that, Alaina used the opportunity. Despite the pain in her body, the champion would swiftly grab Vera, deadlifting her off the floor, and onto her shoulders, deadlifting the blunette as Alaina spun her around and drove her into the mat with her patented Amabomb!

Vera’s mouth was agape, unable to scream as no part of her body was able to move…

Alaina sent Vera crashing down to the mat and flexed her biceps, letting out a loud war cry of a scream before pinning Vera.

Alaina hooked a leg and pressed down pulling the leg tight to her as she was atop the challenger pressing her down tight to the canvas. The official slid in to place to begin the count as the champion was worn out on top ofnthe challenger.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Vera threw everything she could into her finishing stretch of attacks, but she couldn't complete it. Alaina managed to shut her offense down at a minimum damage for herself. As the Amazon pressed her body to Vera, the Russian closed her eyes as the pin sounded throughout the arena. To add to APEX, to Queen of the Ring...her Heavyweight title challenge ended with another failure.

Alaina staggered up and swayed a bit holding her fists high as she was announced as the winner. Vera came into thsi cocky and Alaina was more than happy to have beaten her to retain her title. She did a victory lap around the ring soaking up the cheers of the crowd. She was hurting but sending thst woman down to the mat like that made it worth it.

After lifting Alaina's hand in victory, the ref checked Vera's state, whether she needed help out of the ring. By that time, the blunette would've already sat up, shaking her head as she rolled out of the ring, out of the sight of the cameras, slowly making her way to the back, covering her eyes in case any tears escaped her eyes...
