A Shadow-y talk (for Highfly)

Immidiately after Clara's and Raquel's match ended in a draw (due to the interference from Laura Leiner), the Shadow Lord left for the locker room. She didn't like the note on which her and the brunette left off, wanting to patch things up as best as she could...even if it would involve a lot of shouting.

In reality, of course, Raquel had every right to be upset, with her girlfriend Asuka getting quite intimate with the Shadow Lord more than once during their match...and some place else, an incident that the Boston native was unlikely to know about...unless Asuka told her...or someone who was at the gym at the time told her....

The more the Brit thought about trying to have the conversation with Raquel, the more anxious she got over the potential conversation. What will be the result of this? That Clara won't be able to even converse with the girl she had a massive crush on?

With a heavy heart, she entered the public locker room:

"M-Ms. Masters? Are you in here?", she called out for the brunette as she stood in the doorway...

Raquel was sitting on a bench about to take her attire off for a shower. She was upset about her relationship with Asuka seemingly falling apart as well as GASTER having her beaten in the ring. Raquel came into LAW th inning she would be the cream of the lightweight crop.

Her record was.... all right, but far from where her family back home expected. If she ever wanted to be taken seriously like her brothers she had quite a ways to go.

Raquel heard a familiar voice call out to her. Raquel looked over in that direction, a scowl etched on her face. "Yeah. What do you want?" She asked, standing and squaring off, ready for a fight if GASTER tried to pull anything.

With Raquel standing tall facing Clara, having a really angry expression on her face, the masked girl would come out of the doorway, and towards the brunette.

"Look, I apologize...for what happened in my match with Asuka. I let my feelings get the best of me...I honestly didn't know she had a girlfriend at the time. I am ok if you are angry at me for that, but I just don't want you to think I want to steal her away from you...", she would explain, nervously fidgetting with her fingers...

Raquel nodded silently pacing a bit. She stroked her chin as she paced and looked back at Clara. "OK. I believe you. However, Asuka knew she had a girlfriend but she still did what she did too. That is what bugs me." Raquel said before sighing. "You are the one she seems to be more interested in than me and when I had a chance to go out and prove myself in the ring at least there you were at the end, in control with me looking like a dumb rookie. I am just..... shit. I feel like I am done." Raquel said before shaking her head and sitting down, looking down at the ground.

Clara listened carefully to Raquel. realizing that the girl is in a similar crisis the Brit found herself before leaving for Japan...of course, she couldn't relate to Raquel with her girlfriend seemingly openly cheating on her without saying a word:

"I...I don't believe you are bad, especially at wrestling! You were going toe-to-toe with me right until the moment Laura interfered, there were plenty moments when I wanted to just stay down or tap out for this to be over. Don't be that hard on yourself in terms of your skills..."

"...as per Asuka...I am sure she loves you just as much as you love her. I don't think whatever happened both times is anything more than teasing..."

"...!", Clara would try to make Raquel feel better...before realizing that she spouted out more than she should've...

Raquel raised an eyebrow and stared at Clara. "....Both?" This was news to her. She saw the match on TV and had been fuming ever since. Her schedule and Asuka's had been opposite lately and the two hadn't seen each other much despite living in the same house. Raquel was now feeling dejected and outraged. Was Asuka just looking at her like a flavor of the month? Was she gonna be booted out because Asuka no longer fancied her for anything?

Raquel shook her head and turned away from Clara, facing her locker. "Thanks. I appreciate you coming back but... I dunno. I need to talk to Asuka, not you." She said plainly.

"AAaaaahmm...no that's not what I...", Clara attempted to fix her mistake, but her attempt to backtrack failed. Raquel heard her loud and clear that Asuka did flirt with her again later...

"I...I understand", she quietly replied, leaving the saddened brunette alone on the bench, and left for her own locker to get changed (though likely needing some time to go to the shower, given that Raquel likely would've liked to go in first, and another meeting with her former opponent would've likely made things even more awkward...
