Renewed Rivalry: Clara Gaster vs. Raquel Masters

Raquel was not sure how to feel about this match. The red-headed lightweight paced in the locker room clad in her light blue and pink wrestling attire as she checked herself out in the mirror to make sure she looked perfect for the arena crowd. The history of Clara and Raquel's ex.... who was seeing Clara on the side, then treating Raquel like a side-chick instead of a girlfriend in a committed relationship... made Raquel always doubt herself. Was she not pretty or fit enough? A million questions like that went through her mind whenever she thought of Clara or her ex.

Now was different though. Raquel wasn't the struggling lightweight wrestler she was before. She had been wrestling and winning, finally showing the world that her lightweight title shot wasn't a fluke or just a pity title shot given to a wrestler who had wrestled enough matches to qualify. Raquel was going to show Clara, and the world, that she was more than "just good enough."

As her music played Raquel burst out into the arena with her hands held high. She blew a few kisses to the crowd before strutting her way to the ring, swaying her hips and really showing off as she got ringside jumping up onto the apron in one leap before grabbing hold of the top rope to vault over the ropes into the ring. Raquel smiled and strut about grinning as she anxiously awaited an opponent who was sure to dredge up a flood of bad memories from Raquel.

This was going to be really...really awkward.

Asuka felt like a wild dream for Clara. A girl who appeared out of nowhere, flirted with her, made her realize how she enjoyed women like she did men, and then disappeared into the ether...

...and yet, there was plenty of evidence that Asuka was around for quite a bit...and the most awkward evidence for her was Raquel.

In retrospect, flirting with her, while she had her girlfriend wasn't the right course of action for Asuka. This ended up putting Raquel and Clara at massive odds, and at very personal matches with a lot of tears. Clara also didn't forget that Raquel beat her last time...and only got better as time went on, becoming a solid staple of the lightweight division while Clara was on her hiatus.

Still, it's been several years since all that transpired...Clara wondered what Raquel thought of her now...

Clara walked out to her new upbeat theme song and a new, cute attire as she waved and clapped hands with the fans, who were wowed by the new, quite revealing attire of the Shadow Lord.

Soon enough Clara rolled into the ring, and did one last sexy pose for the fans, before her theme quieted down.

The ads were on on LAW TV giving the ref a moment to check on the competitors...and for Clara to talk to Raquel for a moment.

"Um...h-hey...how are you doing after..."

Raquel saw her coming and scowled. She kept an intense focused stare right on Clara as she approached the ring. Clara came in and sounded well meaning enough but she was asking a question that Raquel would rather not have dealt with. "Don't even say her name. I honestly am more mad at that one than you looking back but if I had my way I'd never see you again either." Raquel said stretching and pacing as she kept looking at Clara. Raquel was a tiny bit smaller as the two were big for lightweights but she was the more muscular woman.

Raquel beat Clara in their last match and she wanted to keep her career momentum rolling against this woman. She felt like making Clara submit to her in their last match was payback for the relationship, but the bad memories and vibes of Raquel doubting herself, doubting her image or look.... all of that was a lot for her. She grit her teeth and stepped to the middle of the ring waiting for the bell to ring. "I know everyone looks at you like a top contender, while I am overlooked. I am going to beat your ass again tonight."

Clara would choose not to say what she had on her mind, which was "fair enough". Asuka did a lot of mistakes in her few years in the company, and Raquel was right to feel that way about both Asuka and herself...though it seemed Raquel had more reasons to dislike the British woman.

"Wouldn't say challenging for the Lightweight belt is being overlooked...and I will prove that I am just as worthy for a title shot! It will not end like last time!", Clara would protest Raquel's words. With Asuka gone for their lives, there was now only the intense rivalry left between herself and Raquel, not for the blonde's affection, but simply who out of the two of them was the better wrestler!

The bell would ring, and the raven-haired Brit would slowly move towards the middle of the ring, motioning to challenge Raquel for a collar and elbow tie up!

Raquel did have to admit she did get a title shot... but since then she had actually wrestled better than before all while seemingly not looking like she would be on any sort of contender list. "If I can help it this will end exactly like last time." Raquel said as the bell rang. She saw that Clara wanted to lock up, and the lean Raquel grinned and lunged in trying to grab hold of Clara! Raquel wanted to use her strength and speed to jockey for position in order to push Clara either back against the ropes or into a corner!

With the match underway, the two lightweights clashed in the middle of the ring! Clara anticipated Raquel's ferocity...but not quite remembering how strong her rival was!

"Mggh...damnit..."

Clara tried to dig her heels into the ground, and try and push down on Raquel, attempting to halt the brunette's advance!

Raquel was pushing Clara back, but the slightly bigger woman was slowing her advance. Instead of just trying to power her way through Raquel had an idea. She tried to wrap her arms around Clara to wrap her up, then lift her up as she attempted to bring Clara crashing to the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex to show off her strength! She was not playing any games, and she knew that Clara was quite the wrestler someone Raquel had to go all in against in order to come out on top.

As Clara tried to block Raquel's advanced, Raquel got frustrated at the stalemate, and would quickly wrap her arms around Clara's body. Suddenly, Raquel would lift the Shadow Lord into the air, crashing her downwards between the canvas and her body for a Belly-to-Belly Suplex!

"AUGH!!!"

Raquel sent Clara crashing to the mat and tried to shift her position, sliding up Clara's body and wrapping her legs around Clara's head to lock in a headscissor hold as her legs squeezed away at the head of Clara! Raquel would land some shots with her fist at the abdomen of Clara as her legs squeezed the air out of her before Raquel struck a pose running one hand through her hair while she flexed her other arm to play to the crowd.

”Mggggh…AUUGH!”

Clara would groan as Raquel put her into a headscissors, pressing on her skull, all the while driving her fist into the Brit’s stomach. Feeling dominant, Raquel flexed to the crowd to much cheering!

“Don’t…get…cocky!”

Clara would try to wrap her legs around Raquel’s shoulders, trying to switch their positions and roll the two of them so that Clara had Raquel trapped in a Matchbook Pin! Clara’s eyes fell on Raquel’s briefs…it would be so easy to bend the rules slightly and grab a part of her attire for leverage…but Clara decided better of it…for now at least…
