Submission Match: Kamen Moon vs. GASTER!

Kamen Moon kept herself propped up on the mat with one shoulder, and allowed the Shadow Lord's body to weigh down on her. Beneath her mask, Moon was grimacing. She knew she had to force a submission out of GASTER, but how far was the heroine willing to go, to do so?

Her aching legs tensed, as she locked in the hold. Moon held the triangle choke in place with one hand, while her "bad" arm propped her body up. The pain was significant, but hopefully nothing compared to what she was putting GASTER through. Now, if she could only her that ...

Finally, Moon felt the tap of GASTER's fingers on her thigh! A massive sigh of relief escaped Kamen Moon's body, chest heaving as she felt waves of relief pass over her body. The ref started to call for the bell, and Moon let her legs collapse out of the hold, letting GASTER fall wherever she may.

Moon rolled away, but not far. She more flopped, flat on her back and staring at the arena lights. Exhausted, gasping for air and sheened in sweat, the masked heroine was nonetheless grinning from ear to ear. Her first night in the ring professionally, and her first victory! Moon could feel tears start to well in her eyes, overwhelmed at the moment. She let the lights warm her body, and the cheers of the fans fill her ears. Everything hurt, and would only get worse as the adrenaline faded. But for now, Kamen Moon was victorious!

Moon wouldn't keep GASTER trapped after the Shadow Lord tapped out, with her rolling off of the Lunar Heroine as she laid on the mat, holding her head as she felt the blood rush right back into her head...

She felt the disappointment of the loss wash over her. While not arrogantly, she acted like a superior in skill towards Kamen Moon, and that ended up costing her in the end, with Moon was much closer to the Shadow Lord in skill than she imagined. And the heroine's win was the biggest proof of that. She was less ashamed of losing, as much as she was of coming so close to winning tonight's contest against the rookie wrestler

Silently, she rolled out of the ring, letting Moon enjoy her win. As she got up to her feet, her entire body, and most importantly, her head, hurt like hell, to the point of her almost stumbling to the ground. The referee for the match would thankfully help her, leading her into backstage. Clara knew she needed to find Kamen Moon after the match, primarily to apologize for her hurt arm...

Kamen Moon's eyes were wide beneath her mask as she heard the closing bell of the match. She had released GASTER immediately, but other than that her head was in a haze. The ref came over to her, to lift her arm as she was declared the victor of her first ever professional match.

Moon looked out over the sea of cheering faces, and the reality of it began to settle in. The announcer called her name, making her victory official and sending a rush through Kamen Moon's entire body. There she stood, center of the ring, victorious. The ref raised her good arm, and Moon soaked in the cheers of the fans.

Tears began to well up beneath the mask, and Kamen Moon's pert chest puffed out in pride. This was just the first step, she told herself, to truly becoming the heroine she wanted to be! Moon approached the corner turnbuckle, and pulled herself up onto the second rope. Her movements were stiff, her entire body sore, but she mounted it, and struck a pose for the fans.

Moon grinned ear to ear, lifting her hand in the sign of a 'V' over her eye. She kept her aching arm near her belly, the sting reminding her of how close she had come to failing, that night. When she glanced over her shoulder to see GASTER, the Shadow Lord was already gone. A chill went down Moon's spine, but she tried to push it out of her mind. She would deal with the repercussions of defeating GASTER later, she was sure. For now, she would enjoy her moment with the fans.

One last time, Kamen Moon brought the 'V' symbol up to her eye, before lifting it high over her head, tucking her aching arm behind her back. Moon beamed for the fans, trying to push back the pain long enough to present herself as the conquering heroine, vanquisher of evil, and the night's victor. Even if she was leaving the ring banged up, sore, very nearly utterly defeated by her vicious rival ... Kamen Moon was still the victor. Kamen Moon tried to keep that thought at the front of her mind to push past the incredible pain, as she memorized every detail of this first, incredible moment.
