Personality: In-Ring: Cold, uncaring, and dominating. Belittles and insults her rivals in the middle of matches to make herself appear superior. This defiance persists even when she is losing. Despite trying to make it appear that she does not care for the crowd, will try and look as stylish as possible for them during submissions or taunts.
Outside the ring: Seems similar to her in-ring self. Can seem very aloof and cold, with annoyance making her want to ignore people or shout at them. Beneath the cold exterior is a very caring woman who appreciates her friends…but becoming one of her friends nowadays is a herculean task in and of itself.

Past/History:
Spoiler
A young girl from Osaka grew up with a love of pro wrestling after seeing various events around her city ever since she was young, always asking her parents to take her to see at least one show each week, her passion for the sport growing more and more. As she started school, she struggled to find friends with similar interests as her, usually being shunned by other girls whenever the subject of wrestling came up with them. As such, Yuki kept her passion for wrestling to herself.

It wouldn’t be until middle school that she would find out that a new girl in her class was actually a fan of the sport as she was. Yuki grew close with Ai Nomura as she finally found a friend to attend shows with…and would eventually convey her most trusted secret to her – that Yuki wanted to become a wrestler…

…to which Ai, in turn, would reveal that this wish was quite within reach for Yuki, as her mother was a pro wrestler herself in Pro Wrestling Spirit, a fairly popular Joshi company touring Japan operating from Osaka, and occasionally venturing out into the world for a tour!
With the 2 girls entering high school, they would sign up for PWS’s training as an extra-curricular activity. Within a year, the two girls would get their wrestling licenses, officially joining the company’s roster as rookies! Alone, Yuki and Ai would lose more often than they would win…but as a tag team, they would actually find quite a bit of success together, challenging for the tag belts within a year of their debut, though ultimately, the two would come up short in their first challenge.

The two girls would continue steadily improving, starting to win more often than losing, while also aiming for the Spirit Tag Titles…even though a big wall stood on the pass to the titles. Ai’s mother, Rin was the biggest heel of the company, leader of the villainous POISON stable, had just won the tag belts with a partner of her’s. After winning the tournament for number one contendership for the tag belts, Yuki and Ai, “Cold Heart”, challenged POISON for the belts at PWS’s biggest show in Korakuen Hall…

As the two girls continued to compete in the tag team division, Yuki steadily realized that she developed feelings for Ai, falling in love with her best friend the more they wrestled together. Although she tried to summon the courage to confess to her sooner, she decided that winning the belts was the perfect opportunity to confess her feelings to her best friend.

The planned dream would turn into the worst night of Yuki’s life. Despite the two girls’ best efforts, attempts to defeat Ai’s villainous mother would end up in failure. After the match, already heartbroken of having her plans of winning the belt and confessing her love dashed, when Rin cut a promo dressing down Yuki, about how weak she was, that she would not amount to anything in wrestling…while praising her daughter, offering her a spot in her stable if she attacked Yuki.
It took 10 second of hesitation on Ai’s part to strike at her partner, betraying her and joining her mother, wanting to be under her wing to learn from her, improve herself as a wrestler…while also having protection from POISON.

That night, Yuki drove home to Osaka on a Bullet Train, battered, bruised and on the verge of tears.

At school, Yuki would confront Ai over her actions, the two girls breaking out into a brawl that was quickly broken up. After a stern talking to, both girls would act like the other didn’t exist…

After the big show in Tokyo, the company returned to Osaka, holding their annual Spirit Cup round robin tournament. In Yuki’s bracket, she had lost every single match despite her best efforts...

And then came the match with Ai.

A woman scorned; she unleashed her rage on her former best friend. Throwing her outside the ring, and fighting back against her stablemates, Yuki focused her righteous fury on Ai, throwing her across the audience into chairs. Once the two got back inside, Yuki would continue attacking Ai with a steel chair, forcing the referee to call the DQ on the match.

Ultimately, Yuki would go 0 points in the tournament.

Taking a break from wrestling, Yuki finished school. The whirlwind of events of the previous months made her doubt if a career in wrestling was even for her. With the help of Spirit’s promoters, she managed to get a few bookings overseas, to take her mind of the drama in her home company…and potentially discover herself in her trip.

Spending the rest of the year in America, she wrestled across indie companies in US, seeing how varied pro wrestling was in the country. Although definitely boosting her spirits in regards to wrestling, the sting of betrayal was still there, the harsh words from Ai’s mother still stung, about being a weakling, keeping Ai down and that she would never amount into anything in wrestling. On a cold lonely night away from home, Yuki was determined to change the fate that Rin had fated her to.

When she came back to Japan, her return advertised as a big match against Ai, she entered with an elegant entrance with falling snow, and looked like an empress entering the ring. With a cold elegance to her moves, strikes and submissions, she defeated Ai in a dominant fashion, and with a foot on her former friend’s chest, dubbed herself the Winter Empress that would destroy all that stayed in her path.

The confidence to rely on herself, as well as in-ring experience from America were the recipes Yuki needed for success, as she steadily won singles matches…although she struggled to work together with others in tags and trios matches. Still, she managed to challenge Rin for Spirits World Title that she picked up while Yuki was away. Despite utter squashes between the two earlier in her career, Yuki managed to bring the fight to Rin and her stable, managing to get her to a time limit draw.

Right as Yuki planned to challenge for the title again…a much bigger fish became interested in her, as LAW approached her with a contract. It was beyond anything that Spirit have or could offer her. With discussion from all sides, Yuki signed with LAW, working her final month in Spirit, with her final match against Ai on the final day in the company.

Yuki would once again defeat Ai. After the match, in tears, Ai would apologize for what she had done to Yuki…but with coldness in her voice, could only respond: “I am sorry for what could’ve been” to her friend, leaving PWS.
