Wrestling Information
Strategy: Starts off slow to get the general feel for her opponent. Once she gets enough momentum, will try to overwhelm her opponents with as many powerful moves as she can. In case the match goes in her favour, will mostly go for Highflying moves. If her opponent gets too much on the offensive, tries to ground them with holds in order to get advantage.
Style: …Dive. Although she knows a good number of moves of all kinds, she is a high flyer at heart, so unless required, she would much rather jump off the top rope than trap opponents in holds or get them into the air.
Preferred Attacks: Springboard, Top Rope and Dangerous (Second) Rope dives, splashes, moonsaults, sentons, swantons, Shooting Star Presses, Diving Leg Drops, Diving Elbow Drops, etc.
(When asked to name a non-aerial favourite attack, Lya simply answered “Those exist? XD”).
Preferred Matches: Anything except hentai
Favorite Matches: No-DQ, Ladder, Falls Count Anywhere, (During the interview: “Hmm…do you have Deathmatches?”
“We do indeed Ms. Eon”
“0w0. Sign me up for that, fam!”) Deathmatches of any kind.

Physical Appearance: (See pic) A slender, but incredibly fit, red haired woman. Has enough muscle to lift women her size and weight...and a little bit beyond that as well.
Personality: Pure extrovert. Outside of the ring, Loves to go out into the city as much as she can, taking with her whoever she can (even if it is against their will). People who know her believe that she is constantly on a constant adrenaline rush, and that she is addicted to adrenaline.. Believing the saying that “Life is Short”, Lya wants to get as many different extreme experience as she can in her life time (“When I have money for that, that is…donate to my Patreon…justkiddingidonthavethat…doneedmoneythough…”)
While she got into wrestling because of her family, she loves the sport, and aims to have as much fun as she can in her matches because of that. Her extreme personality translates into matches by, on instinct, trying to get to the top rope as much as possible, and if the match allows trying to throw herself off higher and higher places purely for the rush of adrenaline in her blood, pain be damned.
As a trainer, will push her trainees to absolute limit every day (allowing minor rest in between days with training sessions), looking to bring the best out of people she trains.
Past/History: Lyanna was born on November 30th, in Montreal, Canada. Both her mother and father were wrestlers, making her, as well as her twin brother Ned (older than her by a few seconds), second generation wrestlers.
Her parents weren’t the most accomplished wrestlers, her father only winning the secondary or tag team titles in promotion he participated in, but her mother not even winning any women titles, despite getting a few attempts at dethroning champions in federations across not only Canada, but also US, Mexico…and 1 time, in Japan. Still, while not the top draw, their names brought people into venues, allowing the Eon family to leave a consistent middle class lifestyle.
All her life, her parents told her that she didn’t have to choose wrestling as her profession, and that she always had a choice in her future career. However, as Lya and her brother Ned watched the hottest period of wrestling in the late 90s unfold before them during their teen years (watching both American companies like WWF and WCW and Japanese companies like AJW and NJPW), the pair were dead set on getting wrestling training, and following in their parents’ footsteps.
Their parents started training them in 2001, and in 2 years, they were allowed to wrestle dark matches in indie feds passing through Montreal. The reputation of the 2 grew and grew, and more indie feds took note of the duo, booking them in lower card matches. Slowly, but surely, the pair improved, noticeable by them climbing the cards in the indie feds in Canada…With their parents realizing that their children had a born talent for the business, they decided that, to improve, they needed to go to other wrestling schools throughout the world. With that, they’ve sent the pair to Mexico, to receive additional training there.
In Mexico, the pair got 3 months training before debuting in the Universal Federation of Lucha Libre…with new names. Although the pair were allowed to keep their original identities, Ned, and particularly Lya, loved and respected the mask tradition of Lucha Libre, choosing to put their masks on and wrestle in their new identities (Lya being known as “Red Dragon” and Ned being known as “Blue Dragon”), their tag team collectively billed as “Twin Dragons”.
They enjoyed good success in tag competition…until the pair were scheduled to fight the reigning tag champions – Celestial Bodies. They managed to win the titles on their first attempt…but were immediately scheduled to defend them a months later. During the title defence, Ned botched a Tope Suicida to the outside, injuring his neck. Referee stopped the match on the spot, and upon assessing the damage, gave the titles to CB.
Upon further medical evaluation, it was revealed that Ned would require surgery, and would be on the shelf for a year after that if successful…but even then, this injury significantly shortened his career.
Upon her brother’s request, Red Dragon tried her hand at solo competition in Mexico. Since she almost always competed in tag matches with her brother, it was difficult for the Red Dragon to readapt to wrestling solo. But, slowly but surely, she started to get wins, and a short while later, at the end of 2006, managed to succeed where her mother couldn’t, and won the Woman’s title of UFLL.
She defended UFLL title for a year, up until her brother got better from his injury. Deciding that, while he wanted to continue wrestling, he wanted to milk as much time as he could before his injury put him on the shelf permanently, he left for UK to improve his technical wrestling game. In addition to that, UFLL started a partnership with a Japanese promotion Rising Sun Puroresu, scheduling a joined show at the end of the year, with one of the scheduled matches being between UFLL and RSP women’s champions. Red Dragon managed to hold the title for the full year to secure the spot on the card, as would her opponent from Japan – Yoko, who managed to hold her title for 2 years and 20 title defences to her name.
On the press conference for the event, things got heated between the 2 ladies, with Red Dragon eventually challenging Yoko to put her title on the line for the match, with Yoko challenging the red Luchadora to do the same. Both ladies agreed, and the friendly champion vs champion match was turned into an intense title vs title match.
Despite Red Dragon going into the match as an underdog against her larger opponent, she managed to defeat her opponent with her “redacted” (see the super secret finisher above), being the first girl in 2 years to do so…
Despite the complications that came with being the champion of the 2 companies on friendly terms, Red Dragon took on the challenge, signing with RSP while maintaining her UFLL contract. And she wasn’t looking on losing either title.
As both companies were full of hungry rookies and veterans looking for their taste of the gold, the technico Luchadora began to struggle more and more in her title matches, becoming more and more arrogant with each passing defence, looking more and more desperate each time…until the day when she was fed up, and simply hit her opponent with a chair during one of her scheduled UFLL defences, DQing her in the process.
The scheduled rematch for the same challenger then next week would not yield any results for the rookie either, as Yoko would interfere into the No-DQ match between the 2 women, helping Red Dragon defend her title, under the guise of respect towards her foe for defeating her, seemingly wishing to help her 2 title reigns thrive, no matter what she had to do.
From there, her partnership with her former enemy would slowly turn from a team into a stable, with a few more women joining to back the villainous Red Dragon up, with the stable terrorising both UFLL’s and RSP’s women divisions, rookies and veterans alike…
…until one day, Yoko, and the entire stable, would suddenly turn on Red Dragon mid-match, beating her up, causing her to lose her UFLL Women’s Championship title…
The reason for Yoko’s betrayal? The scheduled match for Red Dragon’s RSP Women’s title in a months. No one else would help RD’s counteract her former friend’s stable in her title match over the Red Dragon’s shady title reign, and despite the valiant effort from the red haired luchadora, she failed to beat the number’s game, losing back her title to Yoko.
Still bitter over both the betrayal, Red Dragon challenged Yoko for a rubber match between the two of them for next months. Originally, Yoko refused, citing that there was no reason for her to fight the Luchadora…until she put her mask on the line. Intrigued by the concept, the heavyweight champion accepted, with the match scheduled for Tokyo Dome for February. During the last few months of the build to the match, UFLL’s and RSP’s partnership came to an end, causing RD to choose between the 2 companies. Undeterred, she sided with RSP, moving to Japan full-time, fully determined to beat Yoko in the one on one encounter, even goading Yoko into not having her stable in her corner for the match. With the rivalry building up more and more as the date of the match slowly approached, it was decided to turn the 2 women’s match into a barbed wire deathmatch, both Yoko and Red Dragon agreeing to the stipulation.
Arrogantly, the luchadora believed she would easily beat Yoko…
…but, despite the heated match, after 3 finishers from Yoko, put through the table with the final one, Red Dragon lost…and she took off her mask in disgrace, passing what remained of it from having her face raked by Yoko shoving it into the barbed wire to her rival, Lyanna Eon leaving the arena to the applause from fans in the arena, but massive disappointment in herself.
Despite her stellar performance, when she looked back at the damage she did to her friends in both companies and unable to meet the same performance she did during her feud with Yoko or even her title reign…during the entire time she wore the mantle of Red Dragon, in the aftermaths of the deathmatch against Yoko, Lya announced that she would retire from Pro Wrestling at the end of the year. Wrestling her final match in October 2011, she retired at the young age of 23…
Still, not wanting to be too far from the business. Her brother Ned recommended Lya to open up her own Wrestling School in Japan, thinking it was a good idea to develop new promising talents as redemption for the rookies she unfairly held down during her titles reigns. Having quite a lot of money left over from her 2 title reigns…that’s exactly what she did, opening her school in early 2014.
Although she accepted local people from Tokyo, Ned helped his sister’s school get international exposure…eventually scouting two promising talents from his friend’s school in Melody Serperior and Navi Florges, offering them scholarships to move to Tokyo, and learn wrestling from his sister.
Taking him up on his offer, the 2 girls moved to Japan, meeting with Lya and training in wrestling with her, debuting on Japan’s indie stage a year later…and then in a large company of AFW in 2016, and then the new, promising company in LAW in 2017.
Through watching her trainees (especially Melody and Navi) succeed (and occasionally fail) throughout the world reignited the spark, the fighting spirit in Lyanna, with the red-haired woman quickly realizing that maybe she went retired too soon. Contacting one of LAW’s talent scouts, she managed to arrange a try-out for December 2017. Passing LAW’s test with flying colours, the former luchadora signed up with LAW, while simultaneously maintaining her wrestling school and training the next generation of wrestlers.
