With that, the ref would call for the bell:

Chika exhaled, the difficult battle was done...but it felt...inconclusive. She stood up, offering her hand to Sam: "Good match...", she would say, trying to help her rival up.

The instant replay confirmed it. The referee called for the bell. Chika's music came on. And with that, it was set in stone. Chika's victory and advancement in the tourney, and Samantha's defeat.

Sam lay there in a state of fatigue. The truth was that it had taken everything she had left just to even try and kick out. And even if she had hung on and kicked out just before three, Igarashi certainly would have been able to finish her off afterward. It was a tough pill to swallow, but swallow it she did.

Sam was sprawled out on her back. She struggled to open her eyes and raise her head. She formed a half smile on her face. She slowly took Chika's hand and accepted her help.

"G...good match....go all the way, will you? All the way to the top..." Roberts gave her opponent her well wishes as she leaned on her for support. The fans cheered this spirited contest and celebrated Chika's victory and the quality wrestling they had witnessed tonight!
