Eerika vs Suzumi

This place never seem to run low on fresh opponents of only some of them were more interesting. Eerika had done well for herself so far but she had yet to meet a foe that let her really show off her talents. While she was glad management wasn’t shoving her back somewhere she wanted more and eventually it seemed her prayers were answered. Now she was facing someone with experience a new face to her but to the wrestling world she was nothing of the sort. Now she only wanted this women to deliver.

The Goddess of War came out looking like she was ready to fight but with an aura that kept eyes on her as she marched down with authority. No wasted motions or signs of affection for the fans just her, and her soon to be opponent, she climbed on the ring to stand in the center taking in the reaction and then turned to the entrance. No words just her gesturing with her finger for her opponent to come and play.

Suzumi's record ever since she returned hasn't been the most riveting. Two clean losses coupled with underwhelming victories to say the least. She wasn't really a shining star that many new wrestling fans flocked to. Sure she didn't have a negative reception, but not close to a large pop like in her prime. Did taking a break to become an actress cause things to die down perhaps?

Either way she was in for another bout today against an unknown opponent. Judging by past matches, Suzumi expected to fight someone within her size range.

She came to the top of the ramp while "Welcome to Paradise" played, however the Tsunami didn't have any tremendous fanfare. This didn't dawn on her immediately, so she strolled along the aisle and waved to as many spectators as possible until reaching the ring. Hopping up onto the apron and slipping in between the ropes, she finally got a good look at her opponent. A physically imposing heavyweight of greater age. Just gazing at Eerika caused the Wrestle Angel to shiver slightly from suspicion. "This is certainly different..." saying her thoughts out in the open, but she wasn't completely deterred. "Alright I hope you are ready for a beating!" getting into her stance already with arms right in front. Can she really handle an opponent of this calibre?

It seemed Suzumi was intimidated by her appearance given the sudden stop in her step, and she noticed that she seemed to be bothered by her reaction to her appearance. If she was easily rattled she was going to have some fun breaking her down further. An enemy with no morale was an easily beaten foe no matter there size and shape. She put on a brave face but Eerika was already planning to shut her up in a hurry.

"Oh im ready. But you dont seem to be. Afterall I have an army ready to crush you." She said raising her arms and actually getting a reaction from the crowd, it seemed she impressed in her recent matches. And now she was looking to impress again especially now that she seemed to have gotten under the vet's skin and thrown her off.

Suzumi's main strategy involved using her strength and knowledge of submissions to restrain any targets, however could she really grasp this glacier before being struck down? Perhaps this was a challenge or implication that the Wrestle Angel was ready to fight amongst the big leagues around. "Just don't get hit. That's all I have to do." thinking of a game plan

"I am more than ready! And what was that about an army?" only raising an eyebrow from that later comment. Did Eerika have an entourage or stable ready to pounce when things turned dangerous for the heavyweight? That was the Tsunami's first guess. She may have to keep an ear open while attempting to break the ice. Finally the bell would ring signalling the drums of this short war. Suzumi took on large step before circling around her target. The objective was to get behind Eerika.

Suzumi didnt catch her meaning and Eerika wasnt about to waste time spelling it out for her, she had bigger priorities then that, such as simply beating the women. Watching her try to psyche herself up was all she needed to see to feel confident in her abilities that she would be able to take care of this and make sure this match went as long as she pleased. The bell rang and she started to circle her, Eerika moved around watching her the whole time.

Wisely she was hoping to be given her back rather then face a stronger opponent with brute force. But Eerika wasnt about to give up an advantage like that, instead she would try and close in on her foe while keeping towards her, and if she got close enough she would lunge forward to get ahold of her body and pull her into a headlock.

Suzumi obviously didn't conduct any research on her opponent's past in the military, but knowing such information wouldn't have affected her mind further as only in-ring skills matter. Maybe when it comes to approaching the match, she could try to sneak a rollup and earn a quick victory. It wouldn't be considered too grimy since she was just trying to ensure safety. She didn't consider that Eerika was eyeing her at the same pace.

Not wishing to keep the audience in suspense for any longer, Suzumi went off in a sprint and was about to throw a quick strike before reeling back, however this hunter was able to act quicker and keep her catch. "Urgh....let go!" she shouted while her neck was being cranked. Now forced to hunker down, she threw uncoordinated punches at Eerika's arms but it was unlikely she could faze her.

Catching Suzumi down and holding her Eerika was all smiles as the veteran seemed to be struggling in her grasp. Panicked already and throwing some punches to her arms in a desperate attempt to get her to let go or combat the hold in any capacity. The war veteran wasnt having it and would try to crank on her head.

"Why? Dont have what it takes to make me let go." Eerika said as she would lower herself to try and bring herself and Suzumi down so she could try to bring onto her back while keeping her head her captive. Squeezing the head tight to make sure that she had nowhere to go but where the Goddess wanted her to go.

Every wave crashed against the rocks, but nothing was wearing away seemingly. Suzumi's facial colours were becoming closer to her hair with every passing second. Before she could think of bursting into a sprint and flee, Eerika would throw herself down and bring her victim along for the ride.

As a result she let out more cries from the increasing pressure. "I-I-I can handle this!" she shouted despite it felt as if something was going to snap. Her upper body was caught in the trench, so Suzumi resorted to twisting her lower torso and possibly spin out of the hold. It depended how well grounded Eerika's assault was.

Eerika was looking to keep her foe grounded for as long as possible trying to wear her down. Seeing the women struggle and speak about how she can handle this made her smile. Who was she trying to convince, Eerika or her own self. If Suzumi had any mental doubts to play on she was going to exploit them and keep pressing on them while taking her down physically.

"Youd think someone of your status would be spending there time proving such words not vocalizing them." Shortly after the words left her mouth she felt Suzumi shifting under her to get a better position to get out of this hold. She would try to shift with it but she felt her hold and the tightness of the position loosen as Suzumi had undoubtely made her position better which for a moment took the smile off Eerika's face.

Maybe if Suzumi saw the unnerving smile on her opponent's face, she would have been paralysed by fear. Even if she were to escape, would there be even an opening left to capitalise. She had to keep her morale up or this battle may end shortly while the heavyweight takes all the spoils.

Despite the excruciating pressure on her back, she was able spin like a mini-hurricane and gain advantage in the tug of war. "Oh I'll show you!" responding with a half-smile as the pain started to fade. She was going to prove the meaning of her words while continuing to rotate her body hoping to finally escape her opponent's clutches. If so she would continue rolling towards the ring's edge and swipe the ropes, in which Suzumi tried pulling herself back to a standing position and rest for now. This time she had to await for Eerika and then guard her own front.
