Akiko wasn't the type of person to cower in fear when a challenge came knocking. Still, while she was putting her old school uniform over her sport clothes in the changing rooms, she couldn't help but to be a little worried. This was her first time fighting a male afterall, it wasn't like she was scared of fighting a guy, she's done that already in the past several times. No, her worries where mostly because she knew how LAW went, they were sometimes lewd, or straight up pornographic. What if this male tried to step out of the line? The Japanese girl took notice of how her fists clenched, her face was very hot, she went to a mirror to see that in fact her head had turned into a tomato due to her anger and embarrassment for a fight that hadn't even started. "This is ridiculous!" She said out loud, mostly to herself because she was getting pissed off at a person that still hasn't done anything to her. After getting a little more focused, the brunette went towards the arena to wait for their intro. Spoiler
With her eyes hardened to give her pretty face a tough stare, Akiko waited backstage for the beginning of their match. All she knew was that this match would be decided by KO, and that her opponent's name was Kanji, also known as "The Emperor", but she couldn't find anything about his alignment, not exactly a Heel, but the descriptions that she was able to obtain weren't exactly of a Face wrestler either. While she pondered on this, the girl started to hear her music beginning to play. Spoiler
It looks like her time to think just ended, now it was time to act. Akiko entered the stage, hoping to hear the cheers, and while she did, they weren't exactly as many as she wanted. It looks like her previous matches failed to make her popular. Such banal matters that she thought didn't had effect on her surely started to make her get in a bad mood from the get go. She did waved to the public out of politeness, but she wasn't smiling while she did. The green eyed girl couldn't help but to be a little disappointed about her lack of fans.
She hopped on to the ring, waiting in the center of the ring for this Emperor tom make his appearance. Maybe releasing some steam by giving this guy a beating would help? She chastised herself for those kind of thoughts about beating up someone she didn't even knew. But who knows? Maybe he would be the kind of guy that deserved to get his ass kicked? A part of her was hoping that her foe was an asshole so she had a justification for ripping him a new one.
Kanji made some last minute stretches as he waited backstage in the gorilla position. It had been a while since his last match and he was eager to get some action! He loved Rise and Naoto, but just accompanying them to the ring was not what he came here to do. His opponent for the night was some little girl called Akiko Kurozu, all Kanji knew of her was that she hasn't really made much of a splash in LAW before now. Kanji wasn't too worried about beating her, he was much more worried about the crowds reaction to watching him beat her up. Of course a real man doesn't care what others think of him and does things his own way, but that didn't change the fact that getting boo'd fucking sucked.
Speaking of boo's that was what he found waiting for him as he made his entrance, walking out onto the ramp as the crowd let him know exactly what they think of him. Kanji glowered at them and walked down to the ring with a scowl, glaring right at Akiko as if he was getting ready to pound her face in. Which wasn't entirely inaccurate, considering how this is a KO's only match. As Kanji climbed into the ring he would roll his shoulders then start cracking his knuckles "Hey, name's Kanji" he said, giving a smile that gave mixed messages considering he was cracking his knuckles at the same time. Truth be told he couldn't wait to get started. Spoiler

The first sign Akiko had of Kanji were the orchestra of boo's that he brought with him. "Yeesh, and I thought that they didn't appreciated me" She thought to herself as her first response. When the Emperor finally was in front of her, she would have to confess that she was hopping for someone more impressive. He had the face of a thug, many people would find this guy intimidating, but she was hoping for someone that looked more like... well, an emperor.She hoped that her unamused stare didn't made him angry. He came greeting her while cracking his knuckles with a smirk in his face that was almost asking for a fight, the brunette didn't knew if he was trying to intimidate her or if he was just that eager to start the fight.
"Akiko, a pleasure" She bowed slightly at the male right after he did the same. She wasn't sure of what to make of Kanji, between the hostility the people had for him, and the way he looked like someone pissed on his cereals, he started to remind her of herself in a way, not that she was hated in LAW or anything, but the kids of her neighborhood where very scared of her back when she was just a kid, calling her names like "The Terrorizer" just because she put some bullies that where messing with her brother in their place. She knew that people tends to judge someone on their looks more than anything else.
She was thinking about all of this in her corner while she waited for the match to begin. Even if Akiko wasn't fast to judge people, she was well aware of the nature of their fight, a thug or not, Kanji was going down tonight. When the bell finally rang, the girl walked towards him, she wanted to see what would be his first reaction to a direct attack. She wanted to get close to him, and when she was, she would start it up with a barrage of punches to his torso. He was taller, so she wouldn't be able to get to his face just yet, and she also wanted to see how this guy defended.
When Kanji greeted Akiko in a somewhat misleading way the girl would take it in stride and give a polite bow as she introduced herself, leading to the thug-looking man awkwardly returning the bow "Great! I hope you're ready, cuz I don't intend to hold back!" He yelled, pumping his fist enthusiastically. Not too long later the bell would ring, signalling the start of the match. Kanji walked up to Akiko as she did the same, when the two of them met in the middle Akiko started throwing out punches to his torso. Kanji took the first few blows right in the stomach, grunting with each one that hit, but he weathered the storm and reached out to try and grab Akiko by the shoulder.
If he managed to do this he would yank on her shoulder to pull her closer and then throw out a punch with his other hand aiming to hit her right in the gut "Haah!"

Akiko managed to hit Kanji in the stomach several times, it seemed that he was more of the type of person that tends to tanks any damage he isn't able to dodge, she could relate with that. The blonde boy managed to grab her shoulder and yank her closer to him where a punch was waiting to smash against her belly. There was definitely some strength behind his fists, she could tell that much when he made her lose that much air with a single punch. "Gaah!" She gasped while her breath left her body for a moment, it wouldn't be strong enough to actually send her flying, but it surely was to make her crash down to the canvas.
Her back hit the mat in a loud noise that extended to all the area of the ring, it wasn't very painful, but getting hit in the gut like that was something that not everyone would be able to handle. Akiko started to hear the public expressing their displeasure to Kanji once again, they didn't liked how he was treating her. The emperor would probably be angry at this, and the young woman wasn't pleased either. What where they hoping to see them do? Cook and dine in the ring? of course they would begin to hit each other! She wasn't grateful with them, they thought that she was defenseless and weak. While they kept bitching, Akiko swept a kick to Kanji's legs in hopes of bringing him down as well.
Kanji took the punches that Akiko railed his abs with on purpose so that he could get in close and grab her before sending a punch right into her gut, draining the air from her lungs and forcing her down onto the mat "Heh, that's what I'm talkin' about!" Kanji stepped forward to continue his assault while she was on the ground but before he could he was drowned in a chorus of boo's from the displeased audience, who didn't seem to approve of Kanji's actions "What!?! You got a problem!?!" He looked up at the crowd in anger and started yelling back at them, which in turn only inspired them to boo him even more.
Kanji was brought out of this by Akiko, who kicked him in the back of the legs and swept him off his feet. Kanji's focus had been on the audience so he wasn't even looking in Akiko's direction, he had been taken so off guard that he didn't even see the attack at all, he just felt the impact on his legs and then all of a sudden he was falling. Kanji landed badly against the mat, the back of his head bouncing off of it "Ahhh! Shit!" He held a hand to the back of his head, grunting in pain and mumbling something under his breath, nothing good judging from his tone of voice. For the moment he was stunned and Akiko had an opening to attack or escape.

It looked like Kanji was indeed distracted because of the public's reaction, Akiko waited a second before attacking to reflect on his situation. He turned around to face them and complained about their harassment, it painfully reminisced her of Daichi. Her brother also tended to snap back at those who made fun of him or simply treated him like a lesser person. The fact that the teen with a thug face had a sore spot for those who judged him made the brunette girl think that he may had his share of bullies in the past. Indeed for a moment her sisterly instincts wanted to kick in.
This however, was hardly the time, or place, for such actions. Kanji would be receiving some tough love instead. Akiko managed to make him fall and hit his head on the mat, she wasted no time after that. She crawled towards her fallen enemy and tried to surround his neck with her legs for a Side Headscissor, she was positioned in a way that made her able to look at him in the eye. She made use of this to look into him with driven eyes. She wanted to make him know that this was no time to go lick his wounds in the corner. This was the time to fight. "You're fighting me. Not them!!!" She reminded while also applying more pressure to his neck with her thighs.
As Kanji lay on the mat clutching the back of his head he wanted to take a few seconds to try and soothe the pain but Akiko clearly had no intention of letting him rest as she would almost immediately wrap her legs around his throat, choking him with a side headscissors "Nngh!" Kanji's hands shot up to grab her by the inside of her thighs as she stared him dead in the eyes and told him to focus on her, not the audience "Shut up! I know that!" he yelled in irritation. Gritting his teeth in exertion he would work to pry her legs open to break free from her hold, hoping to release the pressure on his throat.

Akiko wanted to make Kanji forget his insecurities of battling her, and he seemed to look like she pissed him off, that would do it for now. He grasped her smooth legs with his hands and started to force them apart. It shouldn't come off as a surprise that he was stronger than her, she wasn't even that impressive in raw strength. So he sooner than later managed to pry her thighs open.
The brunette girl rolled back to her feet the moment she felt like her hold had failed. If she was speedy enough, then she would be able to do this next move correctly. Akiko went to the corner that was closer to her and began to climb it up while still facing Kanji, she didn't wanted to reach the top, she just wanted to get to a higher ground. When she was standing at the second rope, albeit slowly due to her climbing with her back turned, she took a leap directed towards the Emperor, if he didn't moved from his position in time, he would receive a Double Foot Stomp to either his chest or stomach.
Kanji managed to pry Akiko's legs apart pretty with little effort, he had quite the large strength advantage in this match-up after all. But that didn't mean her hold hadn't taken a toll on the blonde, who laid on the mat as he held his throat to try and soothe the pain while also taking big breaths to return the air to his lungs. After a few moments of this he would look up and notice that he couldn't see Akiko "Huh!?!" He looked around and finally spotted her, only for her to have already taken off from the second rope.
If he had seen her earlier it would have been easy to avoid her move, but now that she had already made the leap Kanji did not have nearly good enough reflexes to be able to do anything about it "Ooofff!!!" He cried out breathlessly as Akiko's boots sunk into his stomach. Needless to say that hurt. A lot. Kanji clutched at his stomach in pain as the crowd cheered Akiko for her feat "Ack! Shit!"
