Liliana often comes across as cold and abrasive, especially to those who don't know her well. Antiqua views the overwhelming majority of people as being less capable. She carries herself with the confidence and poise of nobility. The Antiqua family firmly believes that each and every member of the family is destined for success and for the finer things in life, and Lilliana lives her life with that same belief. Commoners that stand between an Antiqua and success are simply stepping stones, barely an inconvenience. The act of putting them in their place delights Lilliana. And yet, her time in combat sports has taught her that certain outliers exist. And this intrigues her. Her journey to learn more about herself and about the few people who could hold a candle to her has brought her to LAW, where she's slowly coming to terms with the idea that not every commoner is utterly useless. Some of them are fun and interesting to be around.

Though Lilliana cares about preserving her aura of power and mystique and about living up to her family's expectations, she's not quite as uptight and standoffish as she comes across. She simply has a bit of an intimidating presence.

History

Liliana traces her family ancestry back countless generations. She was born into wealth and status. The Antiquas established their dynasty on the principle that each member of the family achieves greatness, lest they be cast out and disowned. They could count only the best among their ranks. Whether it be the sciences, politics, sports - it didn't matter. It only mattered that each family member made their mark in their discipline and on the world by eternalizing their name - the family name, in history.

Naturally, the chip on Lilliana's shoulder is massive, like the rest of her family's. All her life, she's wanted for nothing. She was begotten from greats and she would become great in turn. It was only a question of what she wanted to do. Lady Antiqua had an aptitude for everything from academia to modeling and everything in between. But her sadistic streak saw her ultimately take up combat sports as her area of expertise. With the best trainers, nutrition, and regiments that money could buy (not to mention a wealth of amazing genetics), Lilliana took to MMA.

The purplette effortlessly climbed the ranks. She won her way through multiple minor circuits, winning nearly every match via knockout in the first few rounds. It came to her all too easily. She even found a love interest in Sophia Wolfe as she made a name for herself. The two had hit it off as regular sparring partners, and the relationship blossomed into something more. Like Lilliana, Sophia also seemed to struggle to open up to others. But Sophia was more vulnerable than Lilly in just about every sense of the word. Their "relationship" was a toxic mess, largely due to a lack of experience on both their ends, and due to Lilliana's willingness to take advantage of Sophia. Going into the biggest martial arts tourney that either of them had ever gotten to be a part of, Lilliana sabotaged Sophia in the early goings. Sophia had the misfortune of discovering that Lilliana had no qualms with playing dirty. In the first round of their match, Lilliana flirted with Sophia, kissing the blonde to disarm her before swinging at her with a wicked elbow strike to the eye. This tactic tanked both their odds in this tourney. The blow scarred poor Sophia over her eye and inflicted enough short-term injury to prevent her from advancing that night. It also got Lilliana disqualified.

Seemingly unfazed by the loss in the tourney and the loss of her relationship, Lilliana switched gears to wrestling practically overnight. It had always been her backup plan. Wrestlers were allowed and encouraged to be much more vocal. She could use that to cement the Antiqua name in the world of pro wrestling. Something about Sophia struck a chord with Lilliana. She was a commoner like everyone else, but somehow more resilient, more driven, more deserving of respect. The idea of finding someone who could hold a candle to an Antiqua piqued her interest and made her hold slight regret over doing Sophia dirty.

Continuing her quest to carry on the family legacy and make her mark, Lilliana sought to join the biggest and greatest wrestling promotion in the world today: LAW. She had a stellar performance in her tryout match and went on to be extremely dominant in her matches on the main roster. Throughout her tenure, Lilliana found herself connecting with similarly driven and like-minded individuals. Behind the scenes, she connected with Sandy White, the pair delighting in their shared love of enforcing the pecking order at LAW and in wrestling in general. The two went on to form the notorious tag team of Upper Echelon. She had also feuded with Jessica Wright, a woman whose toughness and determination to beat her surprised Lilly more than once. Lilliana took her feelings about the idea of Jessica being her league and processed them by retiring the Iowan.

Together with Sandy White, their warpath through the LAW roster earned them both long-term suspensions. After many months, Assistant General Manager Angie Defoe lifted their suspension the moment she came into power, recruiting Sandy and Lilliana to her cause and giving them nearly free reign to wreak havoc in service to Defoe.

Wrestling Style

Lilliana is a powerhouse in the ring, through and through. Grappling and striking are her bread and butter. She's strong enough to womanhandle and impose her will even on athletes larger than her, and durable enough to go the distance with most anyone. Lilliana is not above degrading/humiliating opponents, and she will bend the rules if she sees the opportunity to. She seldom accepts anything other than a complete and dominant victory. Though she has a sadistic streak, what sets her apart from her tag partner is that Lilliana is satisfied most when seeing an adversary brought to heel and completely dispirited. She sees little point in going beyond that. Lilliana has gone the bulk of her career in combat sports relatively unchallenged and unthreatened. Wrestlers who go the distance with her in the ring stir internal conflict within her that often ensues in Lilly turning things up a notch or five.
