LAS SUPERESTRELLAS DE LUCHA LIBRE

Members: Hija del Dragon, La Silencia, Vida Fenix, Santa Tigresa IV & Blanco Sombre
Combined Weight: Varies by grouping
Entrance music: "Revolution Girl" by Mariachi el Bronx

Group History: The team of Las Superestrellas began in Mexico, by veteran luchador Blanco Sombre, as a way to develop the talents of two wrestlers he saw as promising: La Hija del Dragon, and Silencia. Over time, the parejas incredible became a formidable force in Mexico, and it was time to develop their talents onward.
Eventually, the trio was joined by young wrestler Vida Fenix, who felt lost and in need of direction. The trios team, managed by Sombre, saw middling success. Highly entertaining and developing well as wrestlers, the girls still lost more matches than they won. They needed some form of shot in the arm.
Eventually, the group came to the attention of down-on-her-luck wrestler, Santa Tigresa IV. Shamed after a hard loss to a hated rival, the Tigresa saw in the group a way to redeem herself. After a brief feud, Santa Tigresa defeated Blanco Sombre for control of the group, though the girls would not allow her to kick him out entirely. Now under new leadership, Las Superestrellas have joined the LAW roster in hopes of proving themselves in front of a new audience, and taking the appeal of lucha libre international.

MEMBERS:
Santa Tigresa IV

Spoiler
Name: Santa Tigresa IV
Birthday: November 1, 1980
Eyes: brown
Hair: black
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 166 lbs.
Hometown: Undisclosed
Alignment: Tecnico
Wrestling Information
Santa Tigresa IV is the latest in a long, storied tradition of luchadoras in Mexico. Santa Tigresa ignored that legacy for much of her early life, however, instead choosing to focus on a life of piety, even joining the clergy at one point in her life. Inevitably, however, Santa Tigresa felt the call of the ring, choosing to uphold her family's legacy and inspire the masses to good by her own example, as a heroic luchadora!
Santa Tigresa IV has worked much of her career between Mexico and Japan, where she has developed a well-rounded skill set. She's developed rivalries that have challenged her deeply, and friendships that have improved her life inside and outside the ring. Now, as the senior member of Las Superestrellas, Santa Tigresa IV looks to lead a new generation into stardom, on the world stage.
Strategy: Santa Tigresa's faith informs much of her wrestling, making her focus on endurance and technical mastery over outright violence. Shunning things like hard strikes in favor of strong holds and clever reversals, Santa Tigresa still doesn't shy away from the occasional high-flying move, to inspire the fans.
Style: Santa Tigresa utilizes her size against her opponents, as well as her well-rounded technical ability to resist holds and wear opponents down. She likes to build a head of steam, using momentum against foes once she's weakened them. She also relies on fighting spirit and trained endurance to keep herself in a match, sometimes absorbing incredible damage before pulling out a win.
Finishing Moves:
Tiger Feint Kick- With an opponent hung up on the second rope, Santa Tigresa will throw herself full-throttle at them. Diving between the ropes, La Santa takes hold of the top and middle ropes to stop herself, sling-shotting her thick legs between the ropes to kick the opponent hard in the face and knock them back into the ring. Form there, La Santa performs a springboard senton that squashes the opponent, and generally keeps them down for the three count.
Type: Tecnico powerhouse.
Vida Fenix

Spoiler
Name: Vida Fenix
Birthday: April 15, 1995
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 98 lbs.
Hometown: San Agustin Metzquiltitlan, Hidalgo, Mexico
Alignment: Tecnico
Wrestling Information
Vida Fenix grew up in a loving, gentle orphanage in Mexico. Optimistic and upbeat despite her sometimes depressing surroundings, Vida grew up with one goal: to grow up to become a famous luchadora, like the traveling wrestlers who would often visit her and the others in the orphanage. Unknown to many, the young but well-regarded Sister Feliciana would allow Vida to even start attending shows, only furthering her dreams of lucha stardom.
As soon as she turned eighteen, Vida left the orphanage (years after her mentor, Sister Feliciana, took her leave) and immediately began training in lucha libre. She found a small gym in San Agustin to train in, taking to the fundamentals quickly. Before long, Vida found out that her favorite luchadora, Santa Tigresa IV, had taken to wrestling in Japan. Through mutual contacts, Vida hooked up with her idol, who immediately took her under her wing. Now, the two women look to take lucha libre out onto the international stage!
Strategy: Hit her opponents hard and fast, while trying to stay out of their reach. Knowing she can't match most foes for strength, Vida instead looks to hit them as hard and fast as she can while keeping herself available to make a tag to her partners.
Style: Trained in traditional lucha libre, Vida has a solid understanding of technical grappling. She usually focuses on keeping herself out of holds, moving around the ring with her fantastic cardio and stamina. Enjoys going high to come down on opponents, focusing on high-flying antics as opposed to technical, mat-based grappling.
Type: Fast-moving high flyer.
La Hija Del Dragon
Image
Spoiler
Name: Hija del Dragon
Birthday: Undisclosed [Age 22]
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Hometown: Xalapa, Vera Cruz, Mexico
Alignment: Tecnico
Wrestling Information
The daughter of the legendary El Dragon Verde, La Hija was actually discouraged from entereing the wrestling profession. Pretty from a young age, her parents wanted her to go into modeling, or acting, instead of putting her body on the line in the wrestling ring. However, by the time the girl was 15 and sneaking out to wrestling gyms, it was clear that she would only accept one fate, despite her father's objections.
Now, La Hija del Dragon fights to prove herself in the ring. Popular in Mexico, del Dragon has already had some storied battles in the ring, though none more intense than her battle with her greatest rival, Silencia. Eventually, the feud between the two built toward an apuestas match, where both women would put their mask on the line to end the other. However, prior to announcing the match, veteran luchador Blanco Sombre intervened. Seeing potential in both women and their personas, he convinced La Hija and Silencia to try something new: a parejas incredible, an unlikely tag team between the two women. Initially willing to use that to build the eventual apuestas match, the two women found they worked well together. Now, Hija del Dragon works regularly with Silencia, even knowing that some day, their tensions could bubble over again, and that eventually one will have to bring an end to the other.
Strategy: Hija del Dragon likes to wear her opponents down with some technical grappling, before shifting over to her power moves. A thicker girl, La Hija usually has no problem throwing around smaller or less experienced opponents. Where she really thrives, however, is in the air. A rookie high flyer, del Dragon tries to keep her opponents guessing, coming at them off the ropes and turnbuckles from whatever angle she can, to keep them off their toes (and off their feet!).
Style: A tecnico, La Hija refuses to use closed fists and cheap tricks to beat on her opponents. This attitude has put her at a disadvantage in hard-striking Japanese rings, but she feels the importance of it. She utilizes a lot of throws to her opponents to keep them off balance, usually trying to set up something impressive off the ropes or turnbuckle. If La Hija del Dragon has a particular flaw, it is her reliance on ring position, sometimes getting ahead of herself and setting herself up for a brutal counter.
Signature Move: The Dragon Suplex, which she always bridges into a pin attempt.
Type: High-flying technico
Silencia
Image
Spoiler
Name: Silencia
Birthday: Undisclosed [Age 21]
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 137 lbs.
Hometown: Tijuana, Mexico
Alignment: Rudo
Wrestling Information
Little to nothing is known about the woman called Silencia. Coming into wrestling with no known connections to existing wrestlers, La Silencia worked her way up from back alley wrestling rings, to warehouse arenas, all the way up to legitimate athletic competitions without ever once cutting a promo, doing an interview or otherwise making a sound.
The first time the public heard Silencia's voice was in a match against Hija del Dragon, when the Dragon had Silencia in a surfboard hold. Silencia finally cried out in pain, an act so seemingly shameful to her that Silencia immediately submitted. From there, Silencia was a shadow around La Hija del Dragon, leading to a string of hard, quesionable losses for the green-masked woman. The two brawled in arenas across Mexico, ready to take one another's masks until veteran luchador Blanco Sombre offered them an alternative: to team up. Thus far, Silencia and La Hija del Dragon have made an effective team, even traveling to Japan to increase their fame. However, under her veil of silence, Silencia wonders how long she can hold onto her animosity, before she finally enacts her vengeance against her most hated opponent ...
Strategy: A chain wrestler who likes to move around the ring, Silencia seems almost sadistic in how she likes to work over her opponents. Targeting a weak point on her opponent's body (the legs for heavier girls, the neck for high-flyers, the lower back for better endowed opponents, etc.), Silencia will focus on it like a laser. She also likes to keep moving around the ring, hoping that coming at an opponent from all sides will keep them off their game and make them fear her.
Style: Highly trained in submission wrestling, Silencia is also a formidable brawler. Silencia seems to have some background in marial arts, able to hit opponents hard and fast with strikes that will weaken their joints, slow them down, and eventually make them easy prey.
Signature Move: Code of Silence, a crossface crippler variation that has Silencia bridging upward to get extra torque on the hold.
Type: Fast-moving submission specialist.
