Did everyone hate her or what?
In the past, she was an extremely serious woman, a fighter who knew only the glory of victory or the bitterness of defeat. She was a warrior who sought only one thing and one thing alone: to be the strongest of all. To that end, she believed that forming attachments was a weakness, and so she tried to avoid any kind of relationship with anyone.
Now she's calmed down and tries to be more open and emotional both inside and outside the ring, being kinder and more self-confident, flashing a smile every now and then when she wins. But keep in mind that doesn't mean she won't get serious when the situation calls for it and she has to give it her all to win.
Although the aftermath of that incident was very traumatic for her, she still remembers with pain and fear what she had to go through that day, and under certain circumstances, she may relive what happened on that fateful night, causing her to experience everything from panic attacks to post-traumatic stress.
Past/History
Little was known about Chisato’s past when she arrived as part of the new crop of rookies at Wrestle Angels, the organization born from the merger of several wrestling federations that bore the name of the iconic group Yukiko had formed years earlier. She was one of the most outstanding rookies of all, thanks to her technique and agility in the ring, to the point of being a fan favorite even when she lost. Despite this, she wasn’t very well-liked backstage; her serious and obsessive attitude towards becoming the strongest led to friction with most of her teammates, but this didn’t prevent her from winning the championship belt after so many grueling matches.
Now that she was champion, it was her turn to defend her title against the other competitors, enjoying one of the company’s most memorable and beloved reigns. That is, until the day of the incident arrived… That night, she was scheduled to face Freia Kagami for the company title. The Silver Wolf was one of her greatest rivals, and they had faced each other in more matches than almost anyone else. The match was supposed to be in a steel cage with just the two of them, but at the last moment, Saki, Kagami’s partner, entered the ring, and the two heels humiliated, raped, and tore the champion to pieces until she surrendered, but not before stripping her naked and giving her a traumatic beating she would never forget.
That same day, the two heels were fired, but it wasn’t the same anymore. The experience was so traumatic that Chisato wanted nothing to do with wrestling, acting distrustfully toward the rest of her teammates and developing an aversion to hentai matches. And so it was that one of WA’s biggest rising stars had to give up her glory and her title, deciding to take a break from wrestling. But the worst was yet to come for her, because the reason nothing was known about her past was that she refused to talk about it. As a teenager, she lost both her parents in an accident, forcing her to mature at a young age. She found an outlet in wrestling and developed the belief that if she wanted to be the strongest, she couldn’t have any emotional ties. Not because they would hold her back, but because they might get hurt in her quest to become the strongest. But after the accident, the rest of her family was taken away from her, leaving her completely alone.
The years went by, and Chisato’s mental health improved to the point where she could occasionally participate in shows at indie promotions. Things continued that way until a representative from MWL knocked on her door to offer her a job with what is currently the No. 1 kayfade promotion. Returning to the ring as “The Green Phoenix” with a friendlier attitude, the audience once again embraced her, and she became a fan favorite once more.
